I guess not all the time. They last about a year for me but I work construction and they get dust/ other random stuff in them. But my og AirPods I’ve had for years and they are still reliable!

I can't with the ear tips. My only options round on open earbuds. That's why I decided to buy airpod 3 like 2 days ago. Hoping they do sound that good as usual reviews say they do.
