    Hey Spawn, love the content, this thing is very cool. Just wanted to let you know the Samsung 18650 on the bottom slot, has a tear in the protective coating at the top of the cell. Consider replacing it ASAP. While I have used cells like that before, it's generally not a good idea, since the + and - on 18650s are only separated at the top by the paper o ring and the heat shrink. Great job tho, getting that beast all together!

I just recently started watching your videos & I really enjoy them. But because I didn't see these videos as they came out I had no idea they were even related until I actively started doing searches for the other parts to the middle video. Anyway, you should rename multi part build videos so people can watch them in order.

    Awesome job. But in these days I don't like feel of the original Gameboy style and the small screen. So it makes me wonder if it would be possible to say take a bricked Switch take out the motherboard and put in a Wii board to make use of the bigger screen, maybe even find a way to use the joycon (official ones or 3rd party or custom?). Probably not possible, just a thought I had.

    The best benefit I see from the capability of us building a much desired GameCube handheld, is Nintendo has to be seeing this and knowing we are very interested in playing GameCube games on the Switch AND in handheld mode. Collections and remastered ones for the most popular games can be released as Switch games (uh what Wii did?) and a library of others be it NSO app, or dare we ask for "Classics" on the eshop, if they have no plans for a new Virtual Console??

  • @unitedfools3493

    I don't think progessive scan makes action smoother compared to interlaced rather it's the opposite usually. Interlaced displays every second line and then every other line in the same time that one progressive frame containing every line displays. Effectively this doubles the frame rate while halving resolution - only during motion. This causes motion to look smoother. It will look identical if there is no motion on screen.

    • @carvman217
      @carvman217 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I, too, would like to know. I’ve seen other projects integrate the ir bar into the case and then you can use a wiimote externally, but as far as I know this project only has a Bluetooth module and no ir bar. At least wii motion plus games’ll work (like skyward sword)
