      Great breakdown of this awful human, I can’t imagine what’s it like having to be face to face with someone like this. I wonder if in one of your videos you could explain how psychopaths are able to naturally show emotions like disgust, contempt or anger but not love? I know obviously they don’t feel emotions but why do some flash up and not others?

    • @memokh6587
      @memokh6587 3 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      aye, there's the rub.
      An armchair diagnosis, I know, but after listening to just a few minutes of Cindy's first phone call to Chis after he was locked up, I was convinced she's a raging narc and Chris is her golden child. A book written before this horror occurred explains the dynamic:
      "Men who are psychologically possessed by narcissistic mothers have great difficulty with emotional intimacies. Their relationships are likely to be shallow and perfunctory. On a subconscious level, they always belong to their mothers.
      Narcissistic mothers resent and reject every woman their golden sons date. Believing their property is being stolen from them, all out wars will be waged. Women who stick around are subject to a cruel and endless battle.
      Golden sons experience tremendous emotional conflict. Repressed anger lies just below the surface of these men. While they are completely devoted to their mothers, they harbor terrible resentments against them for destroying their lives and relationships.
      Since they cannot lash out at their mothers, other women become targets of their aggression."
      From the book Close Encounters of the Worst Kind

So now he is in prison for holding them. And this has been going on for 11 or 12 years. The case is about the Skelton brothers and their disappearence. I realize it will be a lot of work as his parents had something to do with the kids being missing. And the mother is definitely not squeaky clean. And finally the father giving them to a group of amish that he doesn't really even know who they are.. so much online interviews with all of them. And if course they are all alive. Even the courts claim the boys are alive as he's not imprisoned for murder but some kind of imprisonment against their will. I feel he murdered his boys after watching so many of his interviews. But I'm not sure after more if the facts come out with his parents involvement and the mothers shady background. So for these boys please give it a look at. The Skelton brothers.

      There is a clinical explanation for what he did. I am not a psychologist but this man is a sociopath and a narcissist. Sociopaths are generally able to function in society and they only care about themselves. Their lives are spent in constant pursuit of narcissist supply. It’s kind of like what fuels their lives. They fall in and out of love very quickly. They fall out of love when their partner no longer is able to give them their narcissistic supply. They see their children as a way for them to prove to the world what a good parent they are, and for others to complement them for being a great parent. They aren’t motivated by real love for the child. It explains why he killed the children. They were no longer giving him the narcissistic supply he needed. Nicole Kessinger was his new source, and BOY did she ever dodge a bullet.
      So for him there was literally no emotion whatsoever regarding the killing of his family. He has even admitted it. He did it with all the emotion that you or I would have toward picking up our clothes at the dry cleaners.

      He wasn't doing any of that because he knew they were dead. It shows his psycopathic nature that he can even act 'normally', but he is not a good enough actor to fake remorse and anxiety - because he just hasn't got them in him. A man that can do what he did to his pregnant wife and two very sweet little girls is beyond redemption, he is a monster in human form.
      Later in the police station he breaks down crying, but he wasn't crying for his murdered family, he was crying for himself because he knew that the police had him cornered. Then the most despicable act - he blames his murdered wife for killing their daughters. It is a damned pity that he got off the death penalty by confessing.

He had so much more to learn about her and he shut down from continuing to learn about beautiful shanaan. If he would have taken to heart her life force and his kids that response would have not been so confidence. He’s a piece of shit! Sadly nothing in life was forced down his throat. Most people emotionally neglected unknowingly has a uncanny loyalty to the very people that neglected him because they think it’s normal. It’s no excuse but the very people that did this to him excuse him even from this behavior they blame his victim. It’s a bad human.

I think she could be a little b*tchy and boss him around a lot, but that's no excuse for murder. I would venture to guess his mother bossed him around the same way. It's interesting that Nikki (her friend that called 911) said that Shannan told her she had not seen Chris act so cold to her "since his parents didn't come to their wedding". And Shannan had just had another terrible fight with his mother. Could this have been a battle between the two women in his life that helped drive him to murder?

    This case is absolutely terrifying. I remember seeing this interview on the news before he was ever accused/convicted of his crimes. As a lay person, empathetic individual, and general optimist - I admit I did not think him capable of harming his family. I did note how he turned the interview into being about him, but gave him the benefit of the doubt because he LOOKS like a decent human being. Not only did he have acquaintances in his life fooled, but he had his wife completely fooled. She would have never married him, had children with him, or entrusted her baby girls in his care if she knew what he was and what he was capable of. If you watch videos of them - I got the impression she was a strong personality type who grew annoyed with his lack of direction and emotional unintelligence (just overall unintelligence period). It also makes sense why he gravitated to Shanann because she was so emotionally expressive. She gave him a template to go off of. He needed an example of how a human being behaves because he himself has no idea. Anyone who could do that to their baby girls is an absolute monster. Just a waste of a human shell.
    And, typically when I read or see situations that try to paint an individual as suffering with NPD or malignant narcissism - I am skeptic. Because that diagnosis is tossed around way too much in this day and age. I also firmly feel that people are complex and operate on a continuum. To sum someone up with a psych diagnosis (depending on the situation/case) seems both unfair and counter productive. But, in this situation (and as a humble, lay person) I cannot imagine a better example of malignant narcissism and psychopathy. Chris Watts has no history of displaying these diagnoses either, which makes it all the more frightening. I read somewhere that the thrill/addiction/limerence that can go into a new love affair can also greatly alter ones ability to operate rationally. But, I cannot imagine that would outweigh the life value of his children that he killed so violently and disposed of with such cruelty. There was something underlying there, that had always been there, and that everyone just missed.
    If you haven't already, you should do body language analysis on Casey Anthony. That is another case that makes my blood boil.
