I will be honest...... I was SO ANXIOUS the whole time the vacuum parts were in the dishwasher LOL but it all turned out 🆗
I clean mine to some extent everytime I use them. However, I'm retired. So there's that! Lol. I hand wash the foam filters. Never thought of putting them in the washer. Will be doing that next time. Thanx for the ideas. Well done. ❤

Great job! I just replaced my Dyson Powerball filters because of a funky smell. Now I'm wondering if I could have stuck them in the washer... Maybe next time. Thanks for the idea!
Worked out great. Everything looked so clean. My difficulty is getting a thorough ckean od the tumble dryer. So msny little crevices that gather fluff.
I never would've thought about using the dishwasher to clean our vacuums!!! I'm definitely going to give it a try, it's got to be better than trying to hand clean all of those hard to reach spots. Tfs!

i will be cleaning my shark (i have the same exact one as you lol!) the same way! it’s absolutely atrocious tonight now lol i accidentally vacuumed up water and never cleaned it out so it’s FILTHY

@@MandyFloresCleaning i will! i made the mistake of putting my bissell crosswave canister in the dishwasher on the hottest setting and it deformed the canister 😬
