Nice bike ! I like how compact the CXC looks, the top tube seems very short for an agile bike, a perfect commuter ! And I was surprised and happy to recognize some streets of Brussels !
Nice build! I will also get an Omnium CXC but couldnt decide between size M and L. I'm 188 cm and although I really like slightly smaller, more agile bikes, your video gives me the impression a size M would be wayyy too small for me :D
huh, colour me suprised! I had no idea you could combine flat bar shifters with a GRX groupset! Very nice! Personally i prefer the look and feel of drop bars, but to each their own ofc! Also, since (afaik) GRX only comes with hydraulics for STIs, this is a nice way to go about it! cool! build looks nice too!
Really enjoyed this build! Just a quick technical question: how did you manage to fit a front derailleur and the necessary cabling? The frame doesn't seem to have cable guides for FD/RD/Rear brake and Omnium suggests a 1X build for the CXC.
Wahhhh..."why do you ride around people and in the middle of the street?" Guess this guy has never commuted in a city like yours or D.C....it's called survival .😅
Tasty build, looks like built to ride, nice "custom built" feel

Brussels it is 🙂👍🏽

absolutely a beautiful bike !
And it rides beautifully 🙌🏽
Looks like a real nice bike.
Missing though: fenders, rack(s), lock, lights, mini bell (I think the last 2 are mandatory in Belgium..?)
Great, high quality videos. Keep it up!
Thanks ! 🙌🏽
Secoooo!!!! No entiendo naaa... pero eres un seco Pancho

Yeah also found that workaround nice GRX + flatbar shifters + cable pulled brakes, cheers 🙌🏽

Sick bike 💯🙌
Nice build in BXL!
practical, versatile and absolutely made to last. love the bike. a lightweight surly in some ways :)
Yeah it’s a little bit like a Straggler one could say, cheers ! 🙌🏽
@@bicyclepicnic with better tire clearance, i guess. does this bike come with 650b wheels in smaller sizes like XS or S?
The complete bike is sold on 700c but a 650b build is totally possible
how wide is the handlebar?
GRX cranksets do not offer a 165mm option, otherwise it's quite well constructed.
In some of my bikes I use 170mm and in others 175mm and to be honest I don’t really feel the difference … never tried with a 165mm though
The FC-RX600 crankset comes in 165! Agree though super annoying they didn't do 165 (or smaller) with the FC-RX800.
@@zachinsights True. For now I'm more interested in SRAM Rival 1 DUB Wide crankset, which gives a lot more choices.
What’s the weight?
Did you have this bike built in Brussels? Could you say which bike shop? Thanks!
Hi, a friend of mine did it himself. But the frameset I know it was bought at Hors Catégorie in Brussels
Thanks very much 👍@@bicyclepicnic
That's trick . x
@@bicyclepicnic super merci !!!!
"Promosm" 😂
I wish… 😂
Nice bike but why do you ride so dangerously between people on sidewalks and in the middle of the streets. Quite bad for cycling reputation.
You've obviously never had to cross a city fast on a bike....probably a weekend Greenway rider not a bike courier
I cross Paris everyday since 20 years now.
