Dokito's Yomi Yori has always been a meme. The map has been ranked for more than 5 years, yet it doesn't even have a single FC. We have been taunted with people getting so close to being the one to finally end the map's curse, but no one was able to do so. To incentivize people to FC the map, people have chosen to place a bounty on the beatmap as a reward for the first person to FC. As if the pressure of a historic score was not already too much for the player to handle, now they would have to deal with the pressure of money being put on the line. But little did everyone know just how far we could take the concept of osu bounties, and the results just speak for themselves.

no regrets im so happy karcher got it and being friends with karcher is such a huge honor, a bit of behind the scens lore on the yomi yori bounty, is i actually since im friends with mrekk outside osu for a while, i personally asked him what do you think would be hype to put a osu bounty on and he obviously said yomi yori, and since that one person who put 1000 $ on it first time put a timelimit,
i wanted to fix this mistake since im not a big fan of time limits, as none of my bounties use time limit, except for one where it was a mcosu pp speedrun event, so i just ended up putting 1000 $ back on it without a time limit so we could end this legendary lore map, and the final push built some amazing lore it was wonderful to be apart of this,

man karcher's fc was so unexpected. I was just looking at mrekk's 1 miss score and then I saw karcher's fc right after i reload the leaderboards page. crazy
i was super lucky after seeing his 1 miss on reddit, i went straight onto the game and watched his fc live, sadly my recording software didnt record properly :/

Also there was 3rd problem - in 2020 he got his own haccusations. He beated it kinda easily (creating his 1st liveplay in his career for this btw), but still - there were ppl thar didn't trust him fully.
every top player will encounter cheating accusations at some point, thats why they're top players, because some people cannot even fathom how someone can be so good.

Almost 3 years of playing osu! and I had not heard about this map until couple days ago, so when I saw people saying "Karcher" in the comments. Legendary video as always, the only thing I want to point out is at 8:50 one of the points is "we can trust karcher, he definitely has the skill". This is a completely empty claim, it's like saying "he's so good he has no reason to cheat". Not only is it for 3000 dollars but as karl jobst once said - having the skill to do something tends to make people feel entitled, and when the game doesn't give them the luck they need, they grow increasingly frustrated. On top of this, having talent and deep knowledge of a game makes you a better cheater.
But anyway congrats to karcher, I'm glad he re-fc'd on stream. :D

his second fc has a lower accuracy than his first fc
score submission works this way: pp per map is determined by the max pp over all submitted plays for respective mod combinations. a play is submitted when it has the highest score among other plays with the same mod combination. so in karcher's case he had a run overwritten by a newer run because it had more score, however the acc was lower so he lost acc pp because of this.
