FilmHaus/movie reviews on Funhaus were one of my fav things on the entire internet. During covid, one of my most comforting routines was coinciding a meal with filmhaus. Thank you SO much alanah for doing this. I genuinely think I was that shows biggest fans and so I’ve gotta be one of the people happiest about this
The group dynamic here is so good. Love the conversational feel, and it's so good to hear the different takes everyone has, particularly Ryan being typically eclectic and James being so thorough in his analysis. Hope to see more in the future.
So glad I went ahead and just subscribed to the Patreon after 19 minutes of this. I was enjoying it way too much, and the Patreon version is like 45 minutes longer. Loved this convo!
Going into this I was like "Oh, yeah I only need the thirty minute version on TH-cam, but respect for having the longer version on Patreon". After watching it? I need the longer version! Dammit you got me!
I had so much fun watching this, I smiled all the way through like I used to with something very simular I've watched before. However, with Astrogoblin, Aunty Donna, and the occasional super chat to Bruce, I can't afford another patreon, which I am in no complaining about. This is great to see.
Wow when Funhaus end I was scared I would never see these hilarious people again. They have all been doing such great things now and I’m so happy you guys took it in stride.
The film I recommend everyone watch, and will do so until I go blue in the face, is Tarsem's 'The Fall'. I got to see it again at the BFI Imax in London, and meet Tarsem Singh. He was very self-deprecating and humble, but it was clear that he had sacrificed a lot to make something he was very passionate about. Definition of an underrated masterpiece.
I love this so much It's so good to see this people back sitting down chilling and talking about films, I didn't know I missed it till I saw this Thank you Alanah for making this happen Also funny coincidence I also saw One Cut of the Dead for the first time this year and James (as always) is spot in everything he said about it
Absolutely awesome to see you guys back together on camera....but I have to say that the upside-down scretches with Banjo and Elise was the best part of this podcast 10/10 content right there the rest was just a bonus 😂 films schmilms just give us more Banjo no but really I love movies 😀 and Ryan, James, and Elise
Damn, we are so back. This will be great, one of my resolutions was to go into actual theatres for movies much more this year so it'll be great listening to you'se's opinions on movies around the time they come out.
Yuuuuus movie time baybee! Y’all should just make new Ernest shorts with Ryan. Ernest goes to the dispensary. Ernest becomes a juggalo. Ernest escapes the f**k farm 😂
I watched 'Madame Web', much like James, in an altered state with a group of friends. That experience was wild. Fav film, if I had to choose, would be Hundreds of Beavers, a true love letter to cinema in all its lunacy. The Substance was a top tier film but no one in my circle has seen it, sadly, and they probably won't.
in love with this coming here and would love to see this up and running so we can hear yall talk about horror movies i just super want to get everyone's opinions
"The full version is going to be on patreon, and that's the way it's going to be going foward", felt like a slap in the face and then a threat right after for poor little old me.
Great episode, enjoyed it a lot maybe in the future you could bring the inside games guys and do like a videogame segment where one of you plays a videogame and the others sit behind him and make funny commentary
If you ever want a recommendation for a sad movie, I'd suggest 'Departures', a Japanese movie that I've seen 3 times and bawled every time. It's so beautiful and I suggest it to everyone
Aww, yay!! A lovely movie chat! I think my top movie of 2024 easily was Flow. It’s so devastating and beautiful, I hope you guys watch it. It made me break down and cry just looking at my cats and I’m not the kind of person who does that.
Casa Bonita is a fantastic pull. I dunno if it counts, but Interstellar's theatrical re-release was the movie *experience* of the year for me. Seen the movie before, but the rewatch in 70" IMAX was life-changing. Totally sold out crowds for weeks. I'm so thankful I got to experience it again in a proper theater and cry non-stop.
So I absolutely stopped watching One Cut of The Dead because I thought it was too campy of a found footage, but it looks like I was fooled and need to watch it again. Just so happy to see these guys on the moviehaus grind cause its so fun after such a great year of movies in the horror genre.
I'm glad they brought up One Cut of the Dead. It's one of my favorites, but it's such a hard recommend for people. When you get someone to sit down and watch it with you, you know you're in for at minimum half an hour of them thinking you're a total crazy person before the movie opens up to them.
@AdmiralYeager i think whats bad is that this video did better in a day than the entirety of the channel and its being put behind a paywall. Im happy with whatever we get btw, i just love them all
As much as I'd like to support this endeavor, I'd be paying strictly for full episodes access of Moviehaus. My concern is upload frequency. Not to be rude, but none of your other patreon content has any appeal to me, and with the upload philosophy of we'll put out an episode when we feel like it, I'm concerned that I'd be paying for what could be as little as one episode a month. Money is tight for me, and I only financially support what I feel I'm getting my money's worth from. Knowing that there will be at least two episodes of Moviehaus a month will make it worth the price.
I went to Casa Bonita back with the old corporate owners and it was a horrible experience. We got stuck in a small corner so we couldn't see any of the shows, the "food" was awful, and I and both of my brothers got food poisoning. I'd totally try it now though
Alright, I'd been on the fence about joining your patreon for a while, but this had me sold in 2 minutes... Which tier do I need for the longer version of this?
Alanah is secretly plotting a Funhaus reunion. It will be a bigger crossover than Avengers Endgame!
also bruce with brought you this thing and the others with jacob :D
@@uggZymoroon You talm bout Astrogoblin?

In this house, we love the Willems Family. James, Elyse, and their adoptive nephew Ryan.

No. We're not back. There's people missing you simpleton

I legit thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I saw the thumbnail! So glad to see this group
Talking Stalkings cast looks a little different than I remember, but I'm glad it's back for another season.
Ryan Hailey is one of the greatest people who ever lived.
I didn’t think I could love him more until he said A Hundred Beavers was his 2nd favourite film of 2024. 😍
Banjo definitely the most photogenic intro.
I gotta hear Banjo's input on Nosferatu for real, and I need these to be longer!!!
This is to cover Banjo’s appearance fee 🦴
So happy to see all these people together!
I yearn for this group of people to keep doing shit forever. Thanks y'all
The group dynamic here is so good.

The Willems and Ryan… god tier cast
So glad I went ahead and just subscribed to the Patreon after 19 minutes of this. I was enjoying it way too much, and the Patreon version is like 45 minutes longer. Loved this convo!
Please do more of these with James, Elyse and Ryan and talk about television shows, movies in 2025… I love listening to your opinions on this topic!
I'm not crying there's just like nostalgia or something in my eye
Just watched the Casa bonita documentary. Got a tear in my eye at the end. Good stuff.
Thanks for making this project: these folks are fantastic together talking about movies.
Going into this I was like "Oh, yeah I only need the thirty minute version on TH-cam, but respect for having the longer version on Patreon". After watching it? I need the longer version! Dammit you got me!

Do a Sonic 3 episode!!! As huge of a Sonic fan that James is I was surprised that he didn't bring it up. Definitely the best movie of 2024.
Banjo deserves to have his name alongside James, Elyse, and Ryan.
thank y'all for doing this show!! Combines my favorite internet people talking about my favorite thing, movies!!
The film I recommend everyone watch, and will do so until I go blue in the face, is Tarsem's 'The Fall'. I got to see it again at the BFI Imax in London, and meet Tarsem Singh. WHY!? Why did it take me so long to have this hit my algorithm!?!?! I'm all in on the patreon :)
Screaming! Hell Yes. Now I just need Alanah, Babs, and Charlotte to merge Always Open and Please Be Nice to Me into a podcast.
This was hard to find. But I enjoyed it very much - missed these people.
Ryan not having the mic at his face is the best
The Haus is back 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
I'm gushing over the Substance talk, it's such a great movie. Probably my favorite as Ryan ❤😂
I'm so happy to see you all together

The look from Banjo when you said his name was amazing lol
Elyse is spectacularly beautiful.
WE'RE SO BACK
I love how you guys are still creating content keep it going 🎉 always enjoyed hearing your points
I’m a simple man, I see Ryan Hailey and I’m there!
So glad to have been told about Casa Bonita. Somehow went by me. Can’t wait to watch.
Ryan's top 10 is impeccable. King of watching movies

The Substance actually sounds like a film I''d go see..
Based on red letter media's review, its pretty good
So pumped! Love to see you all back reviewing movies together!
Yessss The Williams and Ryan - those guys love Movies ❤❤
Damn, we are so back. This will be great, one of my resolutions was to go into actual theatres for movies much more this year so it'll be great listening to you'se's opinions on movies around the time they come out.

Can we continue talking about The Lawnmower Man?
This was so good to have in my life again. Thanks guys and gals, can't wait for more!!

I'll be honest, I only clicked on the video because of Banjo in the thumbnail. I'm a simple man. I see a dog in a video, I watch the video.
Substance, Deadpool 3, Terrifier 3 and Heretic, all been bangers this year. Also, more of this please. I miss Haus.
in love with this coming here and would love to see this up and running so we can hear yall talk about horror movies i just super want to get everyone's opinions
Loved this and want so much more!!
Casa Bonita Mi Amor was my fave piece of media this year too!
Please do more of these
Id love to watch the full version but Id need to see a solid schedule before joining the Patreon. Who knows when the next one will be.
My #1 is either The Substance or Nosferatu... hard to pick between the two, really. But what a great year for horror in general.
"The full version is going to be on patreon, and that's the way it's going to be going foward", felt like a slap in the face and then a threat right after for poor little old me.
I have not seen this channel before. Very glad TH-cam finally did something and recommended this
I am SO here FOR THIS! Hell yea!
Just started watching right now but its great to see them all together again.
I hope Alanah talks about being part of the Flanniganverse.
Stoked! Happy to hear these come out!
Love it! The gang back together :)
We are so back ya'll
Great episode, enjoyed it a lot maybe in the future you could bring the inside games guys and do like a videogame segment where one of you plays a videogame and the others sit behind him and make funny commentary
Oh man. Wish this podcast was already on when The Batman was out. Just reeatched the movie after watching penguin, and it was an incredible experience
Thanks for doing this, it was awesome! Hey is that the girl from PBS?
If you ever want a recommendation for a sad movie, I'd suggest 'Departures', a Japanese movie that I've seen 3 times and bawled every time. It's so beautiful and I suggest it to everyone

Let's go! BANJO ON A WORLD TOUR FOR PETS!
I miss the chill music at the end of the videos. During the special thanks section specifically.
I'm actually considering paying for a Patreon...
Nice to hear James praise One Cut of The Dead. It needs to be watched without knowing anything about it.
So awesome to see this group of people together again.
I don’t think they will all work together as a collective again. But having small group reunions on TH-cam is highly appreciated. Thanks Alanah 🫶🏼
OMG WHAT IS THIS BEAUTIFUL EARLY YEAR GIFT
Missed the heck out of this. Thank you ❤
I'm glad they brought up One Cut of the Dead. It's one of my favorites, but it's such a hard recommend for people. When you get someone to sit down and watch it with you, you know you're in for at minimum half an hour of them thinking you're a total crazy person before the movie opens up to them.
One Cut of the Dead is sooo good. I love when people talk about it
So good to see them all on one screen again!
Where can we watch All the President's Favorite Foods?
James: We are going to have these conversations anyway
Alanah: Let's put it behind a paywall
And this is bad?
