An awesome episode. Great having Rahul sub in for Erica. I think the whole conversation about body image in relation to acting is so important/interesting. So often I feel that films/tv set unrealistic expectations for what is achievable. Especially when you hear stories of some actors starving or dehydrating themselves for a day or two prior to filming to look their best. It’s telling though that a lot of things have panned in recent years due to style over substance. Story & performance is so much more crucial in my opinion. Loved seeing Banjo on the ep. Look forward to the next one.
1:45 I remember that back during the 2010 South African FIFA World Cup there was an octopus called Paul, who correctly predicted the winners for a NUMBER of matches. I think there was another animal who was also predicting but that animal ultimately picked the wrong winner for the finale lol
Somehow I didn't realize Rahul was one of my favorite characters from Blythe Manor! That show is one of my favorite Flanagan joints, and the episode where Rahul is walking Hanna through her realization is one of the best episodes. I really need to watch Midnight Mass still and this is the reminder I needed. Thanks!
Blythe Manor is actually my least favourite Flaniverse series (although still good). Midnight Mass is incredible though - I still think about it years later
Genuinely appreciate the bringing in The boy's perspective on this, a lot of people just don't think about it in that regard... Really good neverknowsbest video dressing just the concept as a whole, in relation to both media comprehension and perception and video games etc.. All his videos are good lol.. But.. I don't know if this was the intention, and the fact that it comes off unintentional makes it even better this this little talk about something that is incredibly damaging and difficult in the industry and once again factors into that actors are cattle quote from Hitchcock... But more so like products to be managed kind of underwriting in the Hollywood scene that is.. I don't think it's done out of malice or anything, it's just the way it is... And it is very problematic. And hey for Abu, if it makes you feel any better... The first time I saw you was in the suit, so if anything, this is the uncanny valley lol as opposed to the intentionally crafted uncanny valley that I'm familiar with.. But that show was just, there's memorable and then there's memorable... That was.. that was something you don't quite forget :-)
19:45 Bryan Cranston as Walter White is kinda the opposite. Cranston, in regular life, is a *VERY* handsome, charming man. But as Walter White.... the whole vibe is pathetic (in early S01), and then as he starts to show off his Heisenberg persona off more and more... the whole vibe is just egomaniac, greedy, sumbitch. Not attractive at all lol.
Rahul forgot his incredible work in that one episode of My Holiday Hostage Hell AND HE FORGOT HIS BREAKTHROUGH ROLE in that envirofone advert! He had the horrible burden of opening the advert and following that one guy who said "Wonga!"
Star and host, Banjo, is joined by 4 random people as they talk about stuff
"You don't think you look Greek?" LOL
Alanah with the prediction again !

Good sound work, the setup and editing “ with the sound effects “ was really nice
This was an electric episode! Loved hearing about the different experiences!
3 seconds in and the shit eating grin on Rahul's face with his finger on the soundboard is cracking me up

Midnight Mass is incredible. The Sheriff is one of my favorite characters in any show. His whole arc is the best part of the show. It’s so good

Everyday is better with an Acting 101 or PWL.
Im really enjoying all these beautiful voices being insightful in about acting while Alannah just chilling with banjo.

Really cool to listen to MEN talk about being objectified on screen. Truly refreshing.

Who is Rahul playing in the clay face movie ?

💜💜💜💜💜
I will never forgive Moo Deng for what she did....SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE DID.
I'm so glad you guys focused so heavily on steroids - it needs to stop being such an obvious elephant in the room that we pretend doesn't exist lol
3 Brits and Aussi sounds like the start of a joke.
Dam speaking of actor fitness what happened to Rahul hitting the gym
❤❤❤
