If you wanna learn Japanese more than Chinese, learn Japanese. I tried learning Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Didn't work. Always from the start I wanted to learn Japanese but I didn't wanna seem like ya know.. "that person". But I never could learn them because of difficulties. I've only remembered hello in both languages. I studied them quite a bit more then Japanese, but I still know a little more in japanese than just hello. I'm learning it and it's much better to be honest. You can learn both if you want though!! I just don't recommend it aswell BECAUSE you will confuse it with Japanese. Just my opinion!

Many years ago, in high school, i had a japanese classmate and i asked her "how do you say i love you in Japanese?" and she told me it was anata o ashitemasu. I never forgot it. Google now tells me it means "you can do it", so maybe, that's what her presents put affection when saying to her. : )
Is this teaching english or teaching japanese? This guy keeps speaking english alot, a whole clip has a few japanese phrases which he pronounces so fast, no pause or in slow version. Waste of time!

being a hakugin raised in a japanese Canadian family I can relate to the differences between japanese born in Japan and raised in the US or Canada no one ever taught me to curse or anything like that my teachers would jst say.. wari kotoba! You'd just drop the pronoun. So instead of "Where are you going?" ("Anata wa doko ikimasu ka?"), it'd be "Where going?" ("Doko ikimasu ka?"). The "you" would be implied. So much of Japanese is about understanding context: What were you previously talking about? Which way are you looking? Who are you talking to?
@@monab.7933 Sorry one other question: Do they say "m" (in both gambare and/or tempura) or do they pronounce it as "n" but it just sometimes sounds like they are saying "m"...like in english the word 'hypnotize' sometimes sounds like 'hypmatize' depending on the speaker and dialect
Shouganai-sounds like every time my uncle says “...it is what it is..” lmao 🤣🤣🤣 I love how I can find ways to relate a lot of Southern American culture things to a lot of Japanese things lmao like the “you” terms of endearment or offense sounds a lot like the difference between a guy you like calling you “baby” “honey” sweetie” “sweetheart”...etc lol vs. your boss or employer saying that to you, or like in southern culture when they use that to “mask” an insult 🤣🤣🤣 like when: “ohhh... sweetie..” lol really means: “oh you poor dumb thing” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 or like if you called your boss (or they called you) sweetheart or honey or something it’d be inherently condescending, but when you’re bf/close friend calls you that it’s sweet or like normal (respectively) lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 gotta love learning about cultures man!
