Even if they fail to meet their goal and only safe the American taxpayer 1 trillion by the summer of 2026, that still would make a huge dent in the overall expenses. If they even manage to only find 1 trillion a year in pointless spending that would already be fantastic for the government that has nearly 7 trillion a year in income. On top of that if they proof that it is possible to reduce your expenses this much as the largest and wealthiest government in the world there is a good chance that the efforts will be continued in the US and other countries will want to copy their solutions which would help many more people than just the American taxpayers.

The government and the Defense department is being billed thousands of dollars for things that cost consumers very little. The Air force by way of example, paid about $10,000 for a toilet seat for one of their planes. Federal contracts are abusing American taxpayers.

They will not be able to cut contracts which is where the real bloat is. Why? Because the politicians get kickbacks for these contracts and will block any attempt to cut the fat ones. What they will do is cut federal jobs which will reduce the budget by .1% and then rehire folks back as contractors where the government will have to spend 3x as much on every position. This satisfies the voters thirst for “cuts” and satisfies funneling more money into the pockets of the rich people who actually are draining all the tax dollars and overcharging the government. They will cut Medicare just to do the same thing with private insurance paid for by those same tax dollars. Simple Solution to begin addressing the National Debt: Currently, the "General Fund" receives funds from US mineral leases. Effective January 20th, 2025, the revenues generated from all "New Mineral Leases" on Federally Owned Lands will be applied directly to the National Debt.

Unless one understands how government budgets work, it's speculation. Every department of government/military have an approved yearly budget. What isn't spent at the end of the year is removed from next years amount. So they spend it all. I know because I had to do this in the Navy in our command for my chief. THAT is a problem incurred by the difficulty to adjust the budget upwards when necessary. In essence they 'bank' that money by increasing stock of items useful but not needed currently by that particular command/department although I have doubts about the civilians being as forthcoming.

Gov Murphy here absolutely butchered the allocation of public school funding aid, gutting smaller districts that need it and giving more to the most urban areas who already rely on state aid for 75+% of their budget.
Now many of these suburban school districts are forced to beg to raise already outrageous property taxes to cover the deficit and ppl are not happy 😡

Unless one understands how government budgets work, it's speculation. Every department of government/military have an approved yearly budget. What isn't spent at the end of the year is removed from next years amount. So they spend it all. I know because I had to do this in the Navy in our command for my chief. THAT is a problem incurred by the difficulty to adjust the budget upwards when necessary. In essence they 'bank' that money by increasing stock of items useful but not needed currently by that particular command/department although I have doubts about the civilians being as forthcoming.
ALL GRANTS NEED TO BE FROZEN. TOO MUCH WASTEFUL SPENDING...

By 16 they will be workers. 2 year apprenticeship whilst learning about taxes and adult life etc. At 18 you should be able to survive and find a path. At 25 you can study or start a family.
