Aye bro until you learn how to heel-n-toe, you can practice rev matching also. It's much easier to get used to (at least in my experience) and mad fun. I've been coasting at neutral before the sharp turns then putting it into 2nd gear for years (with my lazy ass), now i downshift with rev matching and its very fun and good for your transmission also.
Too stiff is no bueno, although Florida isn’t terrible since the roads don’t freeze annually but from a get in and drive POV, stock is better. I would make the CTR street able (all stock) and go nuts on the BRZ.
Lol, Cameron, who's your little friend riding shotgun? If you change camber, by lowing, your toe will change a bit. That's the difference of the wheels left, right angle. The steering wheel may be center still but too much negative angle and may get inner tire wear. So wait till you get the new tires and wheels on before the alignment. Btw, if you like that 86 bumper, just get it. Cheers🍻
I recently just bought a set of Michelin PS4Ss for exactly $1094.46 through discount tire. They got them delivered to their shop for free, mounted and balanced all 4 wheels and tires too. The only reason it was as expensive as it was, was because I also bought their tire insurance which was about $50/tire. $1600 is crazy!
Hey man I live in Riverview as well I just gave Mavis Tire on 301 my business for new tires Installed on my new wheels for my WRX. They will price match literally any site I really recommend you head up there brother
Seriously find the best best price you can find anywhere online, if Mavis stocks that tire or has access they will price match every time from what GM told me. They even price matched Sam's Club, which is already cheaper than most!
Just got my Bc coils in today for my 20 si coupe! Had BC coils on my last civic and i knew I needed to go with them again absolutely never had any complaints from me from them. Can’t wait to have them back on my car again 🙌🏻
When you learn how to heel toe, your driving experience will improve so much. The biggest tip I can give you is not to think of it as heel toe downshifting. Instead, use the toes of your foot only. Place your big toe on the brake pedal so that the other half of your foot is on the gas pedal. This will make it easier for you to clutch in, brake, blip the gas, and clutch out in one fluid motion without having to reposition your entire right foot. It takes some time to get the timing right. It took me about a week of driving 30 mins a day to get it down. Hope this helps!
I would love to see a video of you doing a beginners track day! It will only make you better at driving and improve your videos. Plus you will enjoy driving much more! :)
I don't live in the US but you can check out fitment industries for the tyres. Toe is the direction your tyres point in relation to the body of the vehicle. You can think of it as the tyre pivoting about the opposite point than camber. So toe-in is where your tyres face like this (Top down view): / \ toe-out like this \ /. You can just watch a video because I'm pretty sure that explanation is difficult to picture
Can't wait to see what Enkei wheels you are going with. I have a '22 BRZ and have been looking at TS5, T6R, and Raijin. Now I will get to see how the 18x8.5 +45 fitment will look on the BRZ! Love your channel man!!
Im moving to florida this week, we should hang out brother you seem fun to be with i can teach you all I’ve learned throughout the years of working with cars
You've should've gotten a complimentary track day with your purchase of the car right? Atleast with my 2022 GR86 we got one. May be related to Gazoo Racing not sure.
Ok so toe is how much the tires are pointing in and out. Imagine a person who is pigeon toed, their feet go out. That is positive toe. When the front tires point in; that is negative.
If you're gonna do any sort of cosmetics, I'd rather see aftermarket/unique-ish front/rear/side items than just another "stock" look. But that's me, and it's easy to suggest crazy mods when it's not my money, lol. And I suppose there aren't a ton of options out for the '22 yet. I freakin love Gardetto's!
Well, yes I agree. The GR86 is getting WAY more attention in the cosmetics department than the BRZ though, so if I do the swap itll open up more options
RI Automotive in Tampa on Nebraska Ave, is great. Definitely recommend Going there if you need tires mounted &balance, alignment, etc I brought my rays wheels there for my sti they were super careful and quick turnaround
Yesss bumper swap. The BRZ is still sexy af but the GR86 looks a little more premium imo. Definitely would see if you can find a GR86 to look at first though, cuz honestly the pictures dont do either of the twins any favors.
GR bumper swap would be pretty dope, expensive but I think it does look better. Needless to say the brz bumper looks just fine. Wonder if you got some RPF1’s lol, can’t go wrong with any enkei wheels though.
Just a friendly FYI when doing the math on new wheels: It's actually only going to stick out around 9.35mm more, not 16mm. The wheel offset is nearly the same, the offset is the distance between the mounting location to the centerline of the wheel. Because it is nearly the same and for this next comment lets assume they are exactly the same, and the new wheel is .5 inches wider in total, this would mean the face of the new wheel will stick out about .25 inches toward the fender and the other .25 inches of additional width towards the strut/suspension components on the opposite side of the wheel/barrel. Because your offset is going to be different by 3mm and the total width of the wheel is increasing by .5 inches, the face sits 9.35 mm (.37 inches) closer to the fender and the inside of the wheel/barrel sits 3.30 mm (.13 inches) closer to the suspension components.
I think putting GR 86’s front bumper on your Subaru would be a great swap. Just looked up the pictures and the bigger grills from the GR 86s would look awesome on your car! But just my observation! Great video by the way!!!
Nothing wrong with BBK for scene points man. Honestly I don't think the price is bad for new tires, mount, balance and alignment. You think that place is sketchy then you should come up north to NJ. Most places here look sketch AF to me.
I was watching your 2018 Honda “mistakes” video and I really liked your wing. Do you have a link or know where you got that wing from. Or did it come with the car. I got a 2018 Honda civix coupe ext.
Dont forget if you are going up to a 235\40 tire that in addition to that 16mm extra that the rim will be sticking out you will also have there will be 10mm more tire on each side as well. That size tire will also have a much taller diameter that kills low end torque FYI
I want to see more driving with this car, more bracing like strut tower braces and chassis braces too. Currently trying to do the same with my car and i did BC coils and it made a hugeee difference. Looking forward to more from this car 💯
Unpopular opinion but I prefer the look of the brz front end. Nothing wrong with the gr86 front end but it’s just too basic imo. I like how the brz takes some aesthetic risks with the side gills and cat-fish like front grill
I like the profile and vents on the BRZ a bit better. The GR Front end looks good by itself but to my eye, kind of doesn't fit with the rest of the car. Looking forward to see what wheels you picked up!
You need to learn how to heel toe. Just practice hitting certain RPMs when pressing the break while in park. Hit 1500 consistently and jump up 500 over and over again. Then just do it on a slow straight rural roads with no cars around and in big parking lots.
Dude every video drop is 🔥 with the BRZ and Type R! I think tire rack comes to you and installs the tires on your driveway I saw it on CJ unplugged’s TH-cam channel. You should look into that. Awesome videos brother!
I’d highly recommend doing some controlled kick outs that way before you hit the track or backroads you can at least get used to correcting the car. It’d make a dope video either way.
hey living the videos man! quick question. if you bought the wheels from fitment industries, why didn’t you buy the tires there too? they mount and balance for free and the wheels come ready to throw on the car
Cant wait to see how the WhatTheHill headquarters will come out in a few months and stocked for the wheels to go on the BRZ ! I was wondering can we get a sneak peak of the Varis parts for the Type R next vid ? As always great video Cam !
Check out Carlitos Tires over here in Orlando, he’s VERY reliable at a good cost, it may be a little drive but you’ve done worst🤣 But you should also totally get the GR86 front bumper, imo i think it looks a bit better compared to the brz :)
I need your complete honesty cause I’m seriously considering getting BC’s too. It seems like your car is annoyingly bouncy still, even after adjusting the dampening. Do you see yourself getting annoyed with them soon? It looks a lot better but my thing is, is it worth sacrificing ride quality. Thanks
I’m happy with them, but will be looking to get a more comfortable set of coilovers in the near future when aftermarket parts manufacturers release some specifically for the new Gen
I think the brz needs more low. But I mean there is no point to lowering it further if you are going to change the wheels sooooo can’t wait for the next vid!
Rpf1 gang?? Lol always coming with the 🔥
You’ll have to wait and see!
6:14 Yeah You should, the GR86 have a sick front bumper ! Your car will be a: GRZ 86 lol
Love the Subie...
that tire place quote was ridiculous
Aye bro until you learn how to heel-n-toe, you can practice rev matching also. It's much easier to get used to (at least in my experience) and mad fun. I've been coasting at neutral before the sharp turns then putting it into 2nd gear for years (with my lazy ass), now i downshift with rev matching and its very fun and good for your transmission also.
Tomei complete system. Sounds nuts
lol…I’m keeping mine stock for awhile…I like it
Cameron, I just installed some HKS hypermax X coil-overs on my BRZ. You would love them. For a daily driver, they are perfect.
Good video!
Def get camber and alignment checked front and rear. Plus the toe in/out reset.
The worst part about lowering, is judging driveways and speed humps.
You are such a wholesome, down to earth, funny youtuber…keep it up!
Hopefully the next project car will be a Z!
Too stiff is no bueno, although Florida isn’t terrible since the roads don’t freeze annually but from a get in and drive POV, stock is better. I would make the CTR street able (all stock) and go nuts on the BRZ.
That tire quote was ridiculous...when you buy stuff, always ask for the military discount bro!
All you need now are those UEL catless headers
Lol, Cameron, who's your little friend riding shotgun?
If you change camber, by lowing, your toe will change a bit. That's the difference of the wheels left, right angle. The steering wheel may be center still but too much negative angle and may get inner tire wear. So wait till you get the new tires and wheels on before the alignment.
Btw, if you like that 86 bumper, just get it. Cheers🍻
Thanks Frank!
Front bumper swap? Sure, why not? Start to normalize new front ends on these. Just make sure you add your Subaru badge. 😁
CamHSquad 🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@Camhill182 nuthin much how about you?

Noticed your plate on the Civic was from Maine. I'm on NH. Last month I ordered and still waiting on the GR86 10th Anniversary
nice! I like New Hampshire. I actually bought my first 9th Gen from a dude in NH
It’s a Subaru don’t get a GR bumper . Get the front LED air intake spoilers instead . They look awesome 👏
need that type r content
Next video

Ya get the 86 bumper
Finally starting to see people with 22 BRZ and GR86s, they look so good in person as well! Keep up the great vids
You should get the Brz tinted
Well, personally I prefer the front of the BRZ over the GR86….oh yes, take the stickers off the front windshield.
Yes do the swap so I can buy your old one to fix my broken one lol
Just got my Bc coils in today for my 20 si coupe! Had BC coils on my last civic and i knew I needed to go with them again absolutely never had any complaints from me from them. Can’t wait to have them back on my car again 🙌🏻
You're killing it man!
Thanks Paul. Miss you man
Nice vid bro keep it up!!
Yup the gr swap please lol. 🙏
Great video bro can’t wait see the tires and rims
Thanks Alex
Bro I been rewatching your videos on my big screen tv lol way better lol
Just picked up my gr86 I’m so happy about getting it
Congrats!
Loving the videos brother! Keep up the grind🔥🔥
Need to get an alignment and get some camber in there
yesss going from 1st to 2nd is so BAD
love this car
Keep the brz bumper man! But go with the JDL, their stuff is great. I’m not a fan of invidia products

10000% yes on the GR front bumper swap
YES! I am all for the GR86 front bumper swap
Check out Costco for tires. Pretty sure they carry that tire.
That quote was insane, I'd rather buy the machine and train myself to do it, than pay $1k every time I needed tires changed/wheels balanced.
Yis do a front bumper swap the Gr86 bumper is so much cooler than the brz, only reason I have bought a brz over the 86 yet
You should also get a Front and rear struts for the brz to make it more stiff, also the face you made after you saw the bunny had me dying 🤣🤣
Can't wait to see what Enkei wheels you are going with. I have a '22 BRZ and have been looking at TS5, T6R, and Raijin. Now I will get to see how the 18x8.5 +45 fitment will look on the BRZ! Love your channel man!!

Do not swap the front bumper. Not worth it. Appreciate the smile.
Absolutely love your videos! You are one of the many people who make actual content the people want to watch. Keep it up!

The new wheel is a whole inch wider. My math is correct
@@Camhill182 my apologies, I misheard you in the video and thought you were only stepping up to a wheel that was in total .5 inches wider.
Easiest way to understand toe is literally using your feet, toe in your toes are pointing in and toe out your toes are point out.
I think putting GR 86’s front bumper on your Subaru would be a great swap.

Really like the bumper swap idea! I'm wanting to do a beginners track day too once I'm able to get a 86 or BRZ, it'd be cool to see your journey too
I like the profile and vents on the BRZ a bit better. The GR Front end looks good by itself but to my eye, kind of doesn't fit with the rest of the car. Looking forward to see what wheels you picked up!
Yes also get the GR86 trd wing it’ll make the car look so aggressive and if those are the wheels I think they are it’ll set the car off
Definitely do the swap! The GR mesh grille looks sportier imo. Keep up with the vids, man! Been binging on them here from Elk Grove. Haha
U didn’t say whether Vivian would drive it after your 10 click adjustment.
You need to learn how to heel toe. Just practice hitting certain RPMs when pressing the break while in park. Hit 1500 consistently and jump up 500 over and over again. Then just do it on a slow straight rural roads with no cars around and in big parking lots.
The whole front bumper with the grille? I think that’s a W. I want to get a BRZ but the GR86 grille looks so much better so this would be fireee
Make the track day happen Mr.Hill🔥. Keep the good videos coming😮💨👏🏼
Dude every video drop is 🔥 with the BRZ and Type R! I think tire rack comes to you and installs the tires on your driveway I saw it on CJ unplugged’s TH-cam channel. You should look into that. Awesome videos brother!
Thank you very much
I would say wait for the aftermarket and get a varis front bumper whenever that comes out.
Yoooo that rabbit dying part killed me 🤣🤣 bro said “would the rabbit die by a snake or kleo or by me” and then *death stares* 🤣🤣
Hold first gear longer until you build momentum, then upshift, wait for delay valve, carry on.
I’d highly recommend doing some controlled kick outs that way before you hit the track or backroads you can at least get used to correcting the car. It’d make a dope video either way.
I hope you went RPF1s the best wheels there are
I did not get RPF1s. Cant fit as many BBKs because they’re 17s
do you think of dropping it some more?
Did you go to the macdill airfest. Oh and try tire kingdom
I did not. And ok thanks!
Hmmm I feel like they might be the Nagato bronze wheels, Shoguns or Yamato.
No Discount Tire in Florida 🤔
I havent seen any
yessir early gang!
nah let us GR86 owners enjoy our better looking bumper, you subi boys made your choice :P lol
This is the wrong vibe
hey living the videos man! quick question. if you bought the wheels from fitment industries, why didn’t you buy the tires there too? they mount and balance for free and the wheels come ready to throw on the car
The GR bumper is much better looking than the BRZ bumper imo.
Would be down to see a front bumper swap! I personally like the GR one ever so slightly more, but liked BRZ more than 86 last gen
Cant wait to see how the WhatTheHill headquarters will come out in a few months and stocked for the wheels to go on the BRZ !
I was wondering can we get a sneak peak of the Varis parts for the Type R next vid ?

Very nice car for sure. Just wish it had more power. I bet you'll address that with some FI!!
