I saw Layne in a three piece suit at the start of their set on Lollapolooza in 93 and it was like 95 degrees that day! Needless to say he took the jacket tie vest and shirt off after playing Would the first song to start the show! Very charismatic singer and great stage presence! His voice very unique and an unbelievable range! RIP Layne!
Thanks!! That last clip with the curtain drop was nice🔥🔥🔥. I always click for rare AIC footage! I never saw them live in the 90’s. I was in college and always broke😂.
I was at the Waterloo Village, NJ performance of this tour and it was my 2nd time seeing AIC and they were so good I had goosebumps. One of the best hard rock bands of all time! 🙌
Amazing video quality. Audio quality is good at some parts and just ok at others. I can't believe they haven't had their concerts remastered when so many are on video and audio.
I was lucky enough to see them on this tour in Portland Oregon. We went specifically to see Alice and Primus. They were both great. Saw Rage Against the Machine for the first time that day. The killed it as well.
fair play to you, I saw rage in Ireland that year, never got to see the great Layne on this side of the pond, lucky enough to meet Jerry and Sean in Germany about 10 years ago, pure sound lads
Saw em on the Phoenix stop of Lolla and they were mind blowing that night. Not sure why they’re playing afternoon slots at some stops? AIC teased the crowd behind a lit curtain for roughly a half hour until they opened with an extended opening of Would and after playing that for around 3 minutes Layne finally walked to the mic and sang behind the curtain until they dropped it when he screamed “INTO THE FLOOD AGAIN”……..crowd lost its mind and even though Primus is an excellent band they were closing and had to follow AIC and they didn’t stand a chance.
Philadelphia ‘93. Five minutes before showtime me and my bass player are walking in and see a golf cart go by with two huge gorillas in the front and there’s Layne sprawled out in the back like they just found him in a ditch. 5 minutes later he’s on stage climbing the net like an animal. Drugs ain’t no joke kids…..
brings back memories. saw them at the 93 Lollapalooza Dallas show. It was 110 degrees that day. Alice and Tool were a revelation. Primus was good as well, but I'd seen them many times before. When Alice hit the stage, i was blazing on mescaline. They opened with Dam That River and blew everyone's minds.
Difícil achar shows bem filmados do AIC da época do Layne.

Was this in New Orleans? I remember him coming out in like a tuxedo and just slaying haha
I was at Orlando and don't remember what he wore 😂
I have been thirsting for more from this tour for decades! 🖤🤘🏿🤘🏾🤘🏽🤘🏼💥
God, Layne was perfection and Jerry is a musical genius. What a tight band, every song is just excellent. 😭 ❤
I often wondered why there wasn't more pro shot along with good shot footage from Alice in Chains performing in Lollapalooza
There’s pro shot footage of all the grunge bands but I can’t find any of aic which is a shame, they definitely had the best crowds
thanks man that was amazing
Always remembered, forever loved.

I’m in nj and jealous . I was unfortunately 4 at the time but facelift wasn’t my first album I ever owned at this age
Dude this is never before seen footage. That behind the curtain footage has to be rare as fuck

Love this so.much!!!!The footage at the end was like being on stage with them
That curtain drop was badass!

You’re damn lucky. Layne was on fire that show, whole set is on youtube somewhere. One of the best live Rooster recordings i’ve ever heard.
I saw this tour in Indy. Alice, primus, rage against the machine, front 42, arrested development, babes in toy land, Fishbone, etc.

2:15 Mike Inez messes up coming out of the junkhead solo because its just so hypnotizing. dont blame him though, he just joined the band.
Damn that river performance was incredible. When the sheet does the crowd lost it... that was amazing and cool to see

I was 15, front row, and having the time of my life. I wish I could remember more of it.
wow never thought of mike inez to fingerstyle on the junkhead part 1:37
I have yet to see anyone who managed to capture Rain when I die on 9/9/93 at Milan dragway after the funnel clouds cut Dinosaur jr.'s set short
I was there! Where can I find footage?
it was Tool, AIC, & Primus. so much fun!
Gostei muito
Adoro essa fase do Layne Staley
Trepado na caixa de som
Voz estridente
Performance total
Saw this Lolla in Orlando. Holy hell it was soooo damn hot, that day. Was my 3rd Lollapalooza in a row.
Was there in O-Town, great set. 👍👍
Wow this amazing
Bravo siempre bravo
🔥🤘
Hate to be that guy but youre missing more footage. th-cam.com/video/JfouGoHwvI4/w-d-xo.html at 9:44
However, This is a great compilation!
Why there none with his suit on?
It will be cool when you can go to this simulation
who has the entire shows?
Why’s there a net covering the stage for them bones?
Love that you are keeping grunge alive! Would you be open to collaborating with our band in some way? 🤘😀
I do it alot !!!!!!! Yeah said i do it alot !!!!!
Não existem filmagens profissionais desses shows?

Did you shoot the footage? No? Then sit down. This is historical gold. You don’t own it.
