    I believe those washers are intended to be using to help level the rail by installing them horizontally and sliding them until level is achieved.

    • @ergobuilds
      @ergobuilds หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great point! I leveled mine before drilling, and most of the washers stayed square while keeping the rail level. But I can definitely see how this would be even more helpful on an uneven wall that requires a lot of adjustments.

    The problem i'm facing is that this adjuster stick is too loose - gravity is stronger than its resistance so the curtain auto-rolls down and doesn't stop on the chosen position. It's already the second time i'm facing this problem. Cannot really figure out what i'm doing wrong (and if i'm really doing something not right...). The left-hack i tried too... But neither works...

    • @artjomeniko
      @artjomeniko หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok... thanx to @banackbread 's comment i figured out the problem - it was that i firstly put the stick on the right side so which resulted in that when i pull the stick up, the roller blind goes down and vice versa. But in reality it just dropped down by the gravitational pull. Then i did the "left-hack" and it neither helped with the problem. So i put the stick "back" to the right and everything started working. So the problem seems to be with the spring on the opposite side of the stick. @banackbread suggests to "reload" the spring. I didn't know how to do that, seemed like a bit hard task so i just left the stick on the right (instead of throwing the freakin' "rullgardin" out).

    • @ergobuilds
      @ergobuilds หลายเดือนก่อน

      "pull the stick up, the roller blind goes down" -> seems problem comes from here, the blind should go with the same direction as the stick, if you pull up the bind goes up, if you pull the stick down, the blind goes down.

    • @artjomeniko
      @artjomeniko หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ergobuilds as i mentioned before, i tried the "left-hack" too, which makes it working the "right way - pull the stick up, the blind goes up. It didn't help. The blind was still in the "free fall mode". What only helped - moving the stick on the right side.

    There's a single thing I'd personally improve: give the box bed access from both sides. That way, if a couple should use it, both can access their own side of drawers/shelves. But what an amazing job, man. Hope you're doing great! EDIT: btw, that space below it works wonders when temperatures rise and you need somewhere to store your blankets. When climate gets colder, well, you already have the mattress to isolate your body from the air filling that space

    • @ergobuilds
      @ergobuilds 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good point, the main reason I put it as corner bed is this is for the guest, which normally not in used. And I do have a version which have cabinets on both side: th-cam.com/video/uL7wdsPupGc/w-d-xo.html

    Great idea! Would this work for Pax drawers as well? What length would you recommend for an IKEA Pax unit that is 22 7/8 deep?

    • @ergobuilds
      @ergobuilds 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't own a PAX, so it's hard to say. However, if the gap between your drawer and side panel is also half an inch, it should work. That said, PAX already comes with soft close, so switching to a push-open drawer slider may not offer much of a return on investment unless you really prefer the push-to-open mechanism.

    a thin wooden cabinet door will not block Wifi signal a meaningful amount (and there is a good chance your router's internal antenna is still behind the cabinet door). However not having the cabinet fully enclosed does means you don't have to worry about it heating up.

  • @Helveteshit

    @Ergo Builds, the 'ventilation' part should be filled with Aquarium Cotton. A, because it isn't toxic. B, to prevent dust from getting into the space but yet still allow air to travel, to a degree. It will not be perfect, but it will be better than having all your cat's hair, toys and sut getting in. Plus the Cotton tends to stay white for long time and easy to wash when needed. If you are worried about stagnant air, you can always just buy a USB charger plus a USB connected computer fan on low RPM to move the air at certain hours of the day.
