Thank you for watching! I usually make them 9” (so 18” length before attaching). But you can make them whatever length you like 🥰
Are you said. You cut the strings 18 inches. Then attach and trim it to 9 inches?

Yay!!! I used a 5.5 mm hook for this size medium adult. My squares measure 6”x6” corner to corner. You can use a different size hook to meet your measurements! Good luck 💕
Hello, I'm doing the sunburst granny square holter. With acrylic yarn. Size 5.5 hook. What size each square should measure?
After making the sunburst .How many rows after to complete the square?
Roughly what size are you planning to make? Or cup size is it? That determines how many rows for the base color you’ll need for coverage and that can give you an estimated corner to corner measurement.
I made a medium in this video and the squares measured approx 6” from corner to corner

I always thought the corners were chain 2. Not chain one.

Acrylic, but you can use cotton if you want.
