    Really cute, and quite quick to make. To avoid counting all the stitches when making the cups I just used a stitch marker and placed it in the 2nd of the 3SC at the top of each row. Much easier to watch TV whilst you crochet without counting! :D Thanks for the tutorial

    Could you possibly tell me how many granny squares you would use for each size? It would mean so much to me

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can make 1 granny square, then measure yourself under the chest, and then make as many granny squares as you need. So sorry i don't know the exact number since i work with measurements 💚

    What can i do if i dont have the smaller hook ? The smallest hook i have is 2.5 , my bust is very slightly larger than the size shown here

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't matter, just tighten your tension a bit so your top doesn't have holes! 2.5mm is small enough for this top 🥰💚

    Does anyone know how many inches or centimeters your very first chain should be per size? Rather than going by how many chains for when we’re using different yarn and hooks??

  • @TheReal0re0McFlurr
    @TheReal0re0McFlurr 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    When you start the brown magic ring, are you counting the chain 3 as a double crochet so that there’s 17 double crochets ? Or is it chain 3 and 15 double crochet so that’s 16 double crochet ?

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In this video i didn't count the chain 3 as a double crochet, but counting it as a dc is usually better (the ring is more neat looking)

    one of my cups was much shorter than the other even tho i had the exact same amount of rows and it was the same width. i ended up just adding a bunch of single crochets to the botttom of the shorts one so it’s the one same height but does anyone know why that happened?

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be that you forgot to single crochet in the very first stitch of each row. It happens a lot because that stitch is not very noticeable :) that's why i count my stitches every time when making cups

  • @roselle3129
    @roselle3129 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does anyone have an idea how to make it more modest? Like how to work the V into a less deep one

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can try making 5 single crochets in the top stitch, instead of 3 single crochets. This way the cups become wider and the V won't be as deep. Also you can make the cups bigger than needed, so it will be with more coverage. Hope this helps!

    for the flower part, if each time we make 16 the how do we make 16 petals? if we fill the gaps of 16 crochets we get 17 brown petals and then 18 yellow

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      personally, in the second round, i ignore the last stitch (the slip stitch). That way i get 16 petals. You can make 15 double crochets in the dark brown part, if that makes it easier for you :)

    I can’t get my flowers to lay flat...they’re all curly looking do you know why that could be?

    • @VesaAndVlera
      @VesaAndVlera  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be because you're making more petals than you should, the yarn or the hook could be a bigger size, etc. But if you got all of these right, it's normal for them to curl. Try making two whole sunflower squares then sew them together and see if they're still curly
