    Everyone on here is attractive and it's not fair. The brother in the first concern is looking hecka fine as he tried to be nice to his sister. The psychiatrist was looking hella fine in a suave mature way and his astuteness and intelligence just made him more attractive. Bless this episode real talk. We have a medical professional who knew what the hell was actually going on and wasn't just making jokes. Like God bless yo.

    I love the hosts but it was nice seeing an actual professional give advice. Hopefully the psychologist returns often or becomes a regular on the show. I felt that the contestants actually left with somewhat of a solution or at least an idea, understanding of what they're doing wrong and how to go about it.

    I love that they got an actual psychiatrist on here like that is honestly what's missing from this show! The first concern was heartbreaking bc as an only child when I was younger my dream family was an older brother, a younger sister & a younger brother. I've always wanted that even though ofc I was already born so an older brother was impossible to gain but what I wouldnt do for the family they have! Siblings could really be the perfect balance of family & friend, I hope they mend their relationship, if not only bc living in THE SAME HOUSE & not talking to each other for YEARS is ridiculous! They also need to be there for each other bc when they get out on their own they'll realize how precious they are to each other & God forbid if something was to happen to their parents, no one would know how it hurts like they would, they'd need to lean on each other! They're gonna need each other in the future it doesnt have to be tomrrow or next month or even this year but I hope they become friends in the future! The 2nd concern is bad bc literally why would she let that child eat like that?? He's doing great getting out there & moving but his eating habits are putting all the calories he's burning right back! His stature is less of a problem than his eating habits like 1.5L is WAAAYYY too much sugar that is on the way to juvenile diabetes just like the psychiatrist said! And I loved him on here bc he was the only one that seemed to realize there's a deep problem when a 7th grader locks his self in the bathroom at school screaming while he's eating! There's no food that good there was definitely something wrong & its obvious he uses food as a coping mechanism but what made him uncomfortable enough to do that?? I hope he can get mentally & physically healthy & be happy & I'm praying for him to get to the Olympics! Sangwon fighting! The 3rd concern was too much! LMAO another time the psychiatrist came in handy in telling the boss "hey if he says it hurts it hurts! Chill!" That was definitely necessary!

      Omg! Finally someone relatable! I'm an only child too! And I feel so hurt and lonely and need someone to talk to especially in times of need and sadness! I really wished I had an older brother too! No younger siblings tho lol but yea it really crushes me when siblings drift and take take each other for granted when there's people like us who wish we had such a connection in family

    • @heykid95
      @heykid95 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      OMG Thanks for reading my unnecessarily long post! Hahaha! It does suck being an only child sometimes but it does feel a little better when you have cousins and/or friends who become like siblings, right? Let's just hope they realize how lucky they are to have each other when people like us dont have that!

    I hope the guest Yang Jaejin (or at least any psychiatrist) will be the fixed member instead of being guest. Yang Jaejin, of course, pinpoints and comments well for all the concerns in this episode. I end up listening and looking forward to his opinions toward the concerns. Since he's a pro in the field, the concern guests listen well to him (and he did comment well for them to listen). This show is "Hello Counselor". They need to have at least real counselor to help. They already have fixed MCs to entertain (in case they worry because this is variety show) so they need to have at least one fixed psychiatrist or similar.

    nothing upset me more than seeing siblings that don't get along. I lost my brother 3 months ago, we got along well but in the last few years he was always away so our relationship became slightly awkward but when we started to become really close, he was gone.... it kills me everytime I think of all the time I had the chance to spend it with him but didn't. it's very upsetting to me to see the first concern.

    and this is why you need a REAL counsellor on this type of show...2 mums are able to realise that they are aiding the very concern they've brought on and an arrogant wannabe fighter is taught the basic golden rule...i mean i noticed at times the counsellors would crack jokes and he'd sit there like WTH because he knows how ridiculous they are like suggesting that boy loose weight for the sake of the opposite sex, what's he going to do if he's rejected even after getting buff, he'll eat and get fat againi think he felt awkward watching them try to force the siblings together when this is something that takes time hence is ending comment, ...i stopped watching this show for this reason and came back when Tae-joon started because even though it's not psychology, he vocalises common sense instead of always making jokes but now i think they need to actually invest in a real psychiatrist, many of the people who come on here have major issues and they walk away non the wiser which is very sad

      ImoriiCröw that doesnt erase the fact that some people have serious concerns that should be dealt with. It's crazy how they created a show were people could talk about their concerns and not only do most of their concerns improve, they get MONEY for having the most troublesome or stressful concern. but I really think korea as a whole should learn to accept the idea of psychology and counseling. In lots of asian countries it's kinda frowned upon but hopefully they'll open up to it more since it looks like lots of people need help or at least a safe space to talk without discrimination. A good start for Hello Counselor would be to invite a psychiatrist to every show (if they cant do that then they could invite one every time they can). I mean the show IS called "Hello Counselor"

    • @lightningjuniorsuper
      @lightningjuniorsuper 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the purpose of that was to lighten the atmosphere a bit bc they got the major reasons why he should try to lose weight and also some people do try to lose weight to impress someone and they didnt go into it too much since he is young but if he is gonna lose the weight it has to be for himself and then everything else will follow
      He's only in like the 7th grade so he has time

      ***** but unfortunately they accept concerns which require more than humour to solve which is severely of putting. Some people go there not for the money but they are at their wits end, there's couples that come on brink of divorce but its turned to a joke, i wonder how many stay together after the show or if they do, are things any better?

    I can totally relate with the first concern. When I was young, I always fighting with my older brother. I resent him a lot because I always get bullied by him. It was so exhausting that at one point I just avoid him all alone just to avoid the fight. My parents never sided with me. My childhood is like a nightmare to me. We never greet each other at school. We act like strangers. He is a very harsh and scary person to me and the reason why I'm careful with men. When we become adults, we find it's still awkward to talk about everyday life. I get over the hatred but it just hard to overcome the awkwardness. And I can never have a meal with my brother alone. It is really awkward. I wish I can turn back the time and fix it sooner than later. I respect him now as he's changing to a better person but feel like it's kinda late to fix the relationship like normal siblings. The second daughter is totally like me it's not that we don't want to respect him. It's more like we lost respect for them.

    • @azphine2681
      @azphine2681 ปีที่แล้ว

      The daughter was used to having her parents side with her. So she was self-centered and didn't care. But the brother was hurt because he felt that no one was on his side. He was always told to understand, to hold back, but the younger sibling was never told to hold back or fix anything on her side. Because of that feeling of injustice, the brother didn't like talking to the sister, and the sister just didn't care because she knew her parents would always support her.
      IMO, the parenting was wrong here, because of the mother's guilt, she become insensitive to her son, and focused on her daughter. That naturally created a barrier between them and the barrier just grew bigger as the daughter didn't respect her brother. Which just made things awkward for the brother, and since he was always told to hold back, he started to feel resentful towards her sister.

    The boy in the second concern...
    Aside from HIM changing his habits, his mother really needs to started cooking healthier foods. Yes he'll complain but it's for his own good.
    Also about him saying he'll try if his mom stops nagging, tbh this happened to me recently. My mom's a personal trainer and is always nagging me to exercise because I'm gaining weight (and i KNOW I am, it's just that it was hard for me to push myself) and she's very harsh and says things like "You're fat!! You need to work out!!" in public which really pissed me off and it made be cry because like???? Yes I know I'm getting fat but to shout and curse at me in public is fucking terrible. I told her to stop doing that but she kept calling me names and yelling at me which really hurt my feelings so I told her I'll go work out if she just stopped telling me to do so. She agreed and I just got back from the gym about an hour ago!
    Everyone's different and we have no way of knowing if he'll actually go through with what he said but it seems like he knows he's overweight and unhealthy so he should at least try to do something.

    The oppa from the first concern look so cute, he played with his younger sister also care a lot about his mom, i hope they can changed their relationship, at least they going to become closer in not time ^^ i also have an older brother but we don't talk a lot, i feel like i should call him now T-T
    the second guy, he really need to lost weight, but i also want to blame his mom, who cooked for him all this time? she did whatever his song wanted, i hope both of them can changed, they need to go througt a diet together.
    i hateeeeeeeeeeeeeee the boss in the last concern, it's ok joke and bully someone, but he's just to much, really, what is he? a kid? he should understand everything have limits, and he don't know it, if i was that guy i can handle it, probably i curse him and quit,

    Honestly to the second concern - and I am being completely honest. Was I the only one nodding to myself the reason why the Busan mother's son was fat? It is so obvious why he is fat, and you can see that as soon as the mother slides down. I mean I think this mother should take a hard look at herself to be quite frank. She is supposed to be the role model for his son and she does not look healthy at all. She is probably the main reason for why her child is overweight.

    • @cinnarenaroll1292
      @cinnarenaroll1292 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes I agree. I wondered if she even thought about that. She's putting all the blame on him for gaining weight but it's probably hereditary, PLUS she's the one feeding him all this unhealthy/fatty foods. She can't really control what food he eats outside but she shouldn't cook so much rice first of all. If she started cooking more vegetables with less red meat and more white meat / fish, then aside from that being a much healthier diet, he'll probably be able to lose weight more easily. He doesn't have to starve himself but if he just watched what he ate and how much, he'd be fine.

    • @3v3ry1P1zDanc
      @3v3ry1P1zDanc 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Doesn't matter how fat he is -- the problem is his excessive eating habits. It's just plain unhealthy, and stuffing himself like that -- fat or not -- is killing his body.
      If he had great eating habits and ate in moderation, his mother wouldn't be there.

    • @nalad9387
      @nalad9387 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      yeah i agree. It makes me uncomfortable to see elementary-middle school aged children overweight since their parents usually control 80% of what they eat. If she can't diet then why would she expect him to be able to at such a young age?

    • @cocamila
      @cocamila 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      It's also likely the way his family brought him up made him associate caloric fatty food with rewards (operant conditioning) which is what my cousin has. Whenever he feels angry happy or sad my nan would comfort him with food when he needed emotional support plus with absent parent due to them working, I can see where his unhealthy food originate from. Because high sugary fatty food gives you that similar high euphoria and that's where people become addicted to those food because they unconsciously associate food with happiness and comfort

    I hope the guy int he second concern gets his health in order, I think a lot of the reasons why he's overweight in the first place is due to eating habits growing up by his mother. So if she starts cooking not only healthier meal, but do what her son suggested and go workout at the gym together, they both will be able to reach their weight loss goals. Best of luck to the family, their story needs Counselor News update.

    I think telling the boy to eat less and not to eat certain food won't really help, it'll only make him explode and eat more. for a start he needs to eat slower and realize the food won't disappear, he can eat as much as he want but he should eat slower.
    looking at his weight is way less than you'd expect with the amount he eats plus he's already into a sport so he's metabolism is pretty good. he just need to eat slower

      i honestly dont think we should praise the brother. the daughter literally said that he made other children bully her for something she couldnt control and he joined in on it, but hes saying that the mother always sided with the daughter just because she got sick. i think hes the one who ruined the relationship he had with her in the first place by bullying her and he never acknowledged that, but wanted to get along. the first thing he should have done was apologise for that and not blame it on him being a child. just because someone was young doesnt mean bullying is excusable

    i can see and feel the Psychiatrist's concern and frustration over the 2nd concern. He looked especially concerned when they showed the video of him eating rice and the shouting/locking himself in the bathroom to eat. The kid needs to see a doctor right away, both for the body and the mine.

      this!! i hated how they glossed over it. like i get that maybe he lacked parental attention because she got surgeries but the fact that the parents never disciplined over bullying her and making others bully her shows that he also was favoured. of course the daughter wouldnt have any respect towards him and will always fight with him, he literally never apologised for bullying her and just blamed it on him being young. even the psychiatrist didnt talk about it and just kept saying that the daughter was being favoured which pissed me off because if the bullying had been addressed im sure the daughter would have been nicer to her brother.

    • @gehadamr4137
      @gehadamr4137 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I thought the psychiatrist is an actor.. You know the villain or former bestfriend of hyun bin in memories of alhambra.. He's good. The show needs people like him who knows how to approach the issue without unnecessary talk and who actually studies human behaviour.... But i appreciate tae joon all the time. He has high eq aside from having a handsome face.

    Sometimes I find the people in this comment section more annoying than the guests.
    This is not a fucking psychiatry program! Stop asking something impossible, they obviously have professionals not on screen, and this program have helped people in the past, and will continue in the future.
    The MCs do a really good job at being calm and mediating between people, we're watching it on TV but how angry and exhausted must they be to do this live?
    And I though that a lot of questions of the psychiatrist were really similar to questions that the MCs ask on regular basis. It's so easy to critics when it's not your problem.
    I'm sure 90% of the people in this comment section would do nothing if it was going on in front of them.
    (sorry for english)
