Yes sir!! It is that
Love the informative intro. I’ve been a history nerd my entire life. I found the bridge pilings crossing corney creek, just below corney lake, Saturday that were used to bring logs across the creek from junction city to Bernice pre 1936. That’s when corney filled up. I have pictures of my great grandfather helping build the damn and spillway from 1932. Pretty cool stuff
That seams like a dandy place to do a creek fishing video!!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 yessir. Picked up my wire net traps Friday. Should’ve made a video. Logs blocked creek so me and my son had to walk across logs and walk up creek about a mile to get to them. Then tote them back down to boat whilst full of fish.
@brandonbrown1984 Lol, that's good stuff!! Sure your son will tell that for years
Enjoy the content as always! Keep grinding!🎣🎣🎣
Thanks, that's the plan!!
Awesome
Thanks!!
Boat started Rolling ? About to have a Bill Dance Blooper? 😂😂
Probably more like a Dukes of Hazzard moment🤣
I’ve been very pleased with my Power Queen battery. It performs well above its price point.
Another great video, Bradley. I enjoyed the intro especially. But I’m still a little mad that I don’t have that new Slot Limit Baits color 😜. Guess I’ll keep smokin em on the junebug chartreuse.
Thanks for adding the feedback on the Power Queen Lithium Joe. I'm pretty sure that bait is coming out soon!! Best of luck with it!!
I was bank fishing below the spillway this morning….didn’t catch but enjoyed myself….
Hate hearing you didn't catch. Must not be any current
If your talking about the Bonne, we really hate the way it's controlled now. Cuts the amount of time fishing is good back there by 2/3s. The Bayou will never be as good as it once was until they quit dumping all the water
I was on the East side….most of the water from the dam was on the west half….there were several boats fishing that bank…next time I’ll to come in on Spillway road from the west.
@2713walker gotcha. They let it out too quick. Gets cloudy they open gate🙄
Nice mess, and that one was a slabber. He liked hiding in the weed waiting on his meals.
That lake is similar to Deerpoint Lake here, lived on it before moving to this river. Built on the very upper of a bay, dam done in '61, 5,000 acres. Fed by Econfina and 3 other springs, 600 million gallons of fresh spring water a day.
Nothing like fish in waters fed by fresh springs!! Bet they eat good
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 Very good eating.
51 miles away now but I still pull over there every couple of weeks for the crappy and buttercats.
Only been on Darbonne once for an early season teal hunt. Didn’t really know the history on it. Seems like that might be a pretty good battery if it can take all that load. Curious to see the long term of it.
I'll be keeping y'all updated for sure!!
Another great episode. And a good history lesson about the lake. Seems to be a good battery so far. And them was so nice, Slabs. Keep fishing 👍🏽
Several trips in the books, and Battery running strong!! Thanks Andre
Nice catch , good products make things happen. Looks like you have good stuff. Great video, love the history of the lake you narrated.. Thanks for keeping it real.
Yes sir!! Good products keep us out there doing our thing, but most of the time prices keep us from getting good products. Hopefully this video helps some people out on that and hopefully in the future we're able to help people find other good products at reasonable price points.
Bradley, I don’t need you in a Pafford Ambulance. Need you to keep giving us Videos
Lol, I don't plan on being in one. I chocked the tires before finishing the film🤣
Good
Another great episode, Bradley. Enjoyed the history on the lake...
Thanks!! Feedback on little things like that help us direct the channel, so appreciate it
That’s a long time on one battery running all that stuff. Intro was excellent!
Thanks Glenn, appreciate the feedback!! Keep it Real
Awesome job!!!
Thanks!!
Duster for sure
Yeah, duster with corn meal🤣
Bradley: thanks again for another very informative video - we ate the last of my Buffalo tenderloins last Sunday. I got to get busy and restock. Cheers - Roy
Roy, I smoke grilled some yesterday, look for a future video on that. It surprised me. I'd put it up there with offshore fish or Red Fish on the grill. Might be my new favorite way!!
Great information B.
Thanks!!
Yes sir! What kind of boat is that your running? I like it!
This video it's a G3 1860, but our Net boat is a Sea Ark!!! Wish I had a 20 ft SeaArk CC!!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 Thank you so much for responding. Looks like it rides fairly smooth even on the big water. I have a fiberglass bass boat but I like to do it all & have 2 Grand boys coming on & need something rough lol!!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 💙
I'd be looking Sea Ark, love our 16 footer!!
What charger are you using for the new battery.thanks for a great video 👍
I'm using the NOCO chargers. So far they been pretty good for me. I've got a single bank on the lithium, but have a 3 bank on the rest. One thing I like about them is you can select each bank individually to type battery. Lead acid, AGM, or lithium. We're not sponsored by them, it's just what I run after having trouble with another well known marine charger that wouldn't supply parts for repair
I will look into those thank you for your time
@gregriley649 Academy and most other battery companies sell them, but I think Amazon does also. Shop around, they not cheap
live scope is for people who can't fish. but don't mind destroying it for all fishermen who do fish without cheating machines..
Boy, I could talk for days on this comment. I assure you I took more fish home without it many days and still do at times when I don't fish it. If you get in crappie, find the right bait, and get it in their zone at the right speed you will too, but your average fish might not be quite as big. Anyone on TH-cam, our Instagram, or FB can go back and see I smoked the crappie before live scope come out. If you watched this whole video, you'd know I took 10 crappie to the house with two people in the boat. It's always easier for fishermen to blame the lack of their catch on other things than it is to learn how to catch fish. I do appreciate you viewing our channel, but please look at our history before casting stones at our methods. It took me 6 months to pay that screen off, and it is the best fishing equipment I've ever bought by far. If you fish, at some time or other you've bought equipment or baits to try give yourself the edge on fish. Sir if I didn't know you and you showed up on the lake beside me struggling to set your new live scope up, I'm the guy that would volunteer to help you out. God Bless
Plenty of Fish to catch, and Plenty of fish to release if Not the right size.
@georgeparrault9945 Pretty much the way it is in a nut shell!!
If you are using anything other than a homemade boat, with a homemade paddle, with a stick as a rod, with homemade string, you are using modern technology. If you are using a trolling motor, an outboard, any type of electronics, artificial lures, a regular boat, modern tackle, watching the weather forecast, you are using modern technology. You are using items that greatly increase the number of fish you’d be catching without them. Why do you get to decide where technology should stop?
