A future music star was born in 1958 and since early age he has been into everything that is connected with the music industry. He learned to play the guitar and mandolin on his own and in 1970 joined the band called The Sullivan Family. A decade later, he became a member of Johnny Cash’s band.
Apart from that, Marty also developed his career as a solo artist, having released his debut album With A Little Help From My Friends in 1978. Nowadays, he can boast of 17 successful albums.
His exceptional talent helped him to create music for such movies as All the Pretty Horses, Daddy and Them, Waking Up in Reno, etc. Also, he voiced various characters in many TV projects.
However, what made him really popular is The Marty Show that included traditional country music.

The father John first served in the US Army and then used to work as a factory supervisor for several companies. He had been married to the love of his life Hilda since 1952 and up till his death in 2015, aged 83. In the last couple of years, he suffered from dementia.
The mother Hilda had been working as a bank employee for many years. Today, she is retired and is very passionate about photography. Together with her stellar son and daughter, she co-authored a book called Choctaw Gardens. She is very close with her son and is very proud of all his career heights.
The artist has a younger sister Jennifer, who was welcomed in 1960. She resides in Tennessee and owns a shop, where she sells music memorabilia as well as guitar string jewelry. She doesn’t like public attention much and prefers to stay far from the spotlight. However, she can be often seen at her famed brother’s concerts.
Speaking of Stuart’s personal life he was married twice with Cindy Cash being his first spouse. She is known for dealing with writing, signing and even selling antiques. The couple tied the knot in 1983 but after 6 years they called it quits. This marriage didn’t result in any children.
Since 1997 and up till present moment, the singer has been happily married to Connie Smith, who is a well-known country music star. Throughout her career, she presented 34 albums and was nominated for the Grammy 11 times. Before tying the knot with Marty, Connie was previously married three times and parented five children with those men. That’s why she didn’t want to walk down the aisle for the fourth time. However, Marty changed her plans, despite the 17-year age difference.
The celebrity doesn’t have children. But he helped to raise five stepchildren, so he knows what parenthood is.
