I enjoy the vids where Mitchell is sharp with his comebacks to Toms wise cracks. My favorite Mitchell quote was the vid a couple years back when he renamed Tom " Tickle Tail Tommy". Love the 2 buddies in the boat ribbing each other at every opportunity! Keep up the great work guys!
Teaching my young children how to fish got me hooked on bobber fishing. I have since been working on perfecting the technique, trying to make it as safe, easy, and effective as possible so anyone can do it. I have been working on coming up with some systems as well and learning where I can. Thanks for the video and information!
Tom you came up with the hat cam and got the bobber down while Mitchell was having technical difficulties! And he had the nerve to tell you that you looked silly with it. Tom for the save! LOL!
How do u think the precision shooter rod would work for pitching jigs/ plastics in the winter? I need to build or buy something w oversized guides to prevent or slow down icing up. Usually use 1/8 or 1/4 jig Thanks
My favorite part in any of Tom’s videos is when he mentions my state of North Dakota. This Father’s Day I will be fishing Devils Lake hopefully 🙏 landing a 30” Walter
I fish Walter's exclusively Spring and summer. I went back to Slippery Bob's last summer....and fell back in love. I think it has to do with feeling like a kid again watching the float.....I don't have the electronics on my boat, so I enjoy the rush of watching the bobber dissappear. Great vid Pal.
Thanks for this Tom! Just bought a bunch of these. Quick question...what know are you using? Looks like some kind of clinch knot, but I can't tell because you do it so quickly. Thanks in advance for the help. :)
One again thank you for the great video! You guys never disappoint! One question I need to know is if you were in 12’ or so, and the fish were tighter to the bottom l,how far above the fish do you set your bobber stop?
Great video. I have actually never used a slip bobber but I am going to try it this weekend. How do you know how deep to set the bobber just but guess at first? You want it to sit right above the weeds?
Have you ever noticed bite windows and what do you do in the slow bite period to catch fish? For example this has happened numeruous times where fishing is really tough then all of a sudden the light switch is flipped and the bite is on fire for an hr then dies off again. If I am moving spot to spot trying to pick off the one or two active fish then there is a chance ill miss that hot bite window. Im just curious what your thoughts are for this occasion.
Does the 1/4 oz and 1/2oz bobbers designate the weight they are designed to hold up? So say a guy had 1/4 oz jig with 1/8oz weight above the swivel, would that mean 1/4oz bobber wouldn’t work?
Would love to see you come out to the Columbia River system. Some big fish out here and I feel like even the best walleye anglers out here could learn a thing or two from you.
The weight between the bobber and the swivel was interesting. That's why it casts so well. You didn't show how you chose your depth or how you knew how far off the bottom you were. The boat and the toys!! I'm jealous!
Tom, the first thing I noticed in this video is WHY are you still using a hand winch and not a dratto?? They would work so awesome with that sweet rig of yours! Love the video as always and keep up the great fishing!
Product development idea: some kind of slip bobber that has a twist-to-attach / twist-to-detach function so that you don't have to cut the entire rig off and re rig. Just twist, off goes the bobber, and you can rig whatever you want.
Good video and I like the Kalin’s bobber kit …BUT the slip bobber stop in the kit makes too big of a knot to go through the eyelet of your recommended slip bobber rod: Two Brothers Innovations - Elliott 76MLF
Tom You never did give us a review on the carbon reel You been running it for almost a full open water season let’s hear some feedback pls I’m going to buy some new slip bobbers and use them in ND
I have two 1/4 oz kits in hand. No beads are included. No problem for me as I have plenty. Many customers might not have beads on hand. I suggest they be included in the kit.
How does everyone solve the issue of these kind of bobber knots from sliding freely on braid? Pulled it as tight as I could with 2 pliers and still slips
Been running slips in michigan for awhile now and i'm hooked, thanks tom. Please keep the head snaps back to the FFS out of video if your gonna split screen. I'm not bitching but i gotta say i like fishing videos better than video games.
Really liked the step-up ladder on your trailer making it super simple getting into the boat to launch from the trailer. Again, no mention of the lake or what state, city town, etc. I don't know why, but very disappointing.

18 minutes into the video, 11 "Mitchells". Then you acknowledge the fact that some people prefer videos where you don't refer to the cameraman once very 90 seconds. This used to be the Tom Boley channel, where he would sometimes bring his awesome girlfriend. Now, it's some guy and "Mitchell" go fishing...and no, that's not nearly as entertaining. That's the coolest bobber kit set-up I've seen!! Ordered mine in both sizes a few days ago from ACME- Great job!
Nice! Stoked to see how you like it.
Loved that start to this video!

Oh man... Nothing better that looking back and realizing you bobber is down!
I’m excited to try the new jigs Tom. I’ve been big on the Kalins crappie jigs for slip bobbers and those seem very similar just a lot beefier.
Tommy with your little video game locator thingy and a slip bobber you are the official king of walleye fishing
I went out today, fully intending to do some float fishing. But the crankbait bite was insane. Don’t mess with success!

4 feet up
When you talk about using the lighter slip bobber and jigs in shallow water, and the heavier ones for deeper water, what do you consider "shallow"?
Great video Tom! And thank you for buying an American made truck!

Tomorrow starts the trek to Ontario to go springtime walleye fishing. Thanks for another great tip!
Love this technique of fishing. Will look for this in stores!!
Could you use a loop knot on the jig or best to cinch up on the jig with a knot?
I always use clinch knot but may not matter
Is there a reason you prefer a string bobber stop vs a rubber bobber stop? Love me some bobber downs!
Does the 1/4 oz and 1/2oz bobbers designate the weight they are designed to hold up? So say a guy had 1/4 oz jig with 1/8oz weight above the swivel, would that mean 1/4oz bobber wouldn’t work?
1/4 oz bobber = 1/4 oz weight and 1/16 or 1/18 oz jig

How do I get my hands on the slip bobber here in Ontario
Great vid guys. Keep to you Tom. Thanks for all the fishing help.
Appreciate you watching!
I'm a biologist, that was indeed a tapeworm. Tapeworms in fish are common and the fish are still safe to eat as long as they're cooked.
How do you know someone is a biologist? Wait 5min they'll tell you😅
The bobber system looks good. Seeing as you have their ear get them to make the eyes of their jigs more durable

Clinch knot

Don't need a Drotto with a bunk trailer, just a waste of money.
Warrior voids warranty if you inatalll drotto
I had one and got rid of it.
Tom, I watched The shallow warm water bay on the Walleye Now app and I was wondering if you can identify the species of fish using Mega live?
How deep would you fish a 1/4 oz kit? I feel like I've been using to heavy of gear...
1/4 under 15ft, 1/2 over 15ft

why wouldnt you take the tape worm off the fish before you tossed it back?
Call me stupid, but how do u quickly set up depth as u move around? Or to casting to different depths?
Just uploaded a walleye now video to the app on that exact topic!
How do you rig up your bobber setup? When I knee replacement heals in a few weeks. I want to go chase some walleye with slip bobbers.
