    I received my Nama J2 about 1 week ago and it really is a gamechanger !!!! This is absolutely the best juicer I have ever owned and yes as John says Load it and walk away. I do about 5lbs. of vegetables and fruits in under 10 minutes and clean up is easy and fast. This is a great juicer for those just starting out in juicing or even those that have juiced for years. The J2 makes it so easy to juice and I'm very pleased with the quality of the juicer. If your looking for a great juicer, this is the one !!!

      I’ll be brand new to juicing, I been wanting to do it for a very longtime. I really initially wanted the Kuvings, because It seemed like everyone on social media had it, it was everywhere!

    Hey John I wanted to share I purchaced an Omega VSJ843QS from you as per your recommendation in 2021. I recently severly broke my juice screen after faithfully using if for more than two years. The company immedeiately responded and because it was under warranty (I still had my receipt) with a 15 year warranty they are in the process of sending me a replacement screen at NC. I was very impressed with their customer service. I have been very pleased with my juicer. Thank you John for all you do on you tube- I've watched a ton of your videos. I mostly juice celery and also a celery, apple, cabbage, carrots w/ a little ginger for tasted. I make some for me, my wife and store 16oz in a Mason jar in the fridge for later. This works for me. Love my Omega nc8004 AND my Vitamix. I use my Vitamix probably 3 times a week.

    Do you recommend the Dynapro over the Void Systems solution? If so, what would be the reason?
    Me personally, I have both and can see the pros and cons of both. With that said, I think I like the Void Systems solution best, overall. Here's why:
    *I think the Dynapro is only better in 4 or maybe 5 or 6 ways:* 1.) the carafe is a little bit bigger and has additional head space in the lid. 2.) The vacuum pump and lid have more versatility in using different pumps and items. 3.) If you have a strong enough, alternative pump, you can achieve a stronger vacuum. 4.) You have zero worries of a blended mixture getting sucked into the vacuum pump (so far, no problems with Void, either). 5.) Potentially, more blending options on the motor base (I think the Void base has enough options). 6.) It's the only carafe with an above 118 degree indicator on the bottom.
    *Here's 7 solid reasons why I think the Void Systems solution is better and should be in the top 5 or top 6 juicers of 2023:* 1.) Faster dual pump that pulls a good amount of vacuum and can maintain it's vacuum (stronger electric pump over the Dynapro). 2.) It's easier to make one smoothie after another (or what have you), whereas the lid on Dynapro lid will get food into the valve holes, clogging them up so that you'll have to clean them every time and it's not fun. This also makes a slightly smaller carafe on the Void a moot point. 3.) No disposable batteries and no using batteries with wires, even; just a rechargeable battery that apparently needs charging only once a month. 4.) Easier to clean lid with just 2 parts that basically rinse off while the Dynapro lid has lots of nooks and crannies to clean and has * *gasp* * 5 parts to clean. 5.) The carafe appears to have a much stronger, sturdier handle, meanwhile the Dynapro is certainly not the strongest because I've broken the handle on one after several weeks of just tapping on the carafe. Because the handle is part of the carafe, it broke a big chunk of the carafe off rendering the entire Dynapro carafe useless (yes, I did replace). 6.) The Void motor base has not stopped on me in the middle of blending like the Dynapro because of the duty cycle. The Void base isn't done blending until I say it's done, which I like. Dynapro, however, wants to limit my blend time, which I don't like. 7.) The Void base doesn't seem to heat up my smoothies as much as the Dynapro, so who needs the 118 degree indicator or the duty cycle interruption?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for the full assessment. You are totally correct, that each system has its own set of pros and cons, and I like each one for certain reasons. You forgot about the warranty. The Dynapro has a full 15 year warranty on the WHOLE set up.. The Void System only has a 1 year warranty. Furthermore the dynapro is BPA free, while the VOID systems uses polycarbonate that is known to contain BPA. I would also say tribest has better customer support and warranty policies than Void Systems.

    • @truthinentertainment1028
      @truthinentertainment1028 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@discountjuicers Thanks for the reply! You are correct, I missed those critical parts in my assessment which are very important. I definitely see why you recommend the Dynapro for blenders. But I had no idea the Void Systems carafe is not BPA free. I'm not sure if that was mentioned in your Void Systems video, but I would ask and encourage that you please do because it certainly would have influenced my decision before buying 3 Void Systems full blender kits (2 for gifts). Instead, I would have gotten either more Dynapros or maybe a Blendtec that can use just the Void vacuum lid. But given the situation, I'm curious: If I purchase a Blendtec Wildside+ carafe (which is BPA free), will it work on the Void Systems motor base? My guess is that it won't make contact with the micro-switch on the bottom and therefore won't work unless there's a modification done. If you can confirm I would be most grateful, thank you!
      *Edit:* After some research, it appears (from what I can tell) there is no micro switch or safety switch (whatever you want to call it) on a Blendtec motor base nor is there a protruding piece of plastic on the bottom of a Wildside+ carafe. In order to make the carafe work on a Void motor base (or even a Dynapro base) a modification would have to happen to get the switch to depress either when the carafe is seated or the switch button would have to be depressed at all times (making it potentially unsafe when the lid is off unless you're very cautious and mindful in using it that way).

Than I saw, that the nama stopped working, while juicing sellerystacks.. It stopped and was not able to get it working as easy as you are telling... Only the kuvings Revo 830 was able to pass the stacks, the kale, beets and carrots without any problems..!! So, the Nama 2 may be easier to fill BUT, the kuvings is performing much better with vegatables though.!!!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Each one of the machines will put more or less pulp in the juice. The Kuvings REVO830 will put More pulp in the juice than the VSJ843. The Nama J2 puts a little less pulp in the juice than the vsj843 8 grams vs 11 grams in the video th-cam.com/video/AH_lvuidw0M/w-d-xo.html The Sana 727 will put more pulp in the juice than the J2.

    I do ppreciate a lot your content John, very well made, at a professional level, as always. As a long time fan of your vids, i can confirm your work and dedication is beyond exceptional. With that being said, i can already say which way my hard earned $$ would go, and that's so simple. Why, because none of those machines, despite being exceptionally well designed and top quality, doubles as a blender AND a juicer , with one single purchase, and only one place available on my kitchen counter. Yes, you guessed right, the winner is the dynapro.
    Helpful video to make a decision nonetheless, and thank you again , keep up the good work. All the best to you, John

    Hi John. I watched your video on the Nama J2 and began making daily juice and then made almond milk with almonds that have soaked overnight. I have ruptured two strainers to date and I am heartbroken. I STILL LOVE the juicer, but I wonder if we may be able to influence Nama to make a higher gauge steel screen for making almond milk. If they would listen to your input, this would be a bulletproof product. I have already recommended it to several of my friends and at least 2 have purchased it. Thanks for your videos and advice!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow! yous is the first report I have heard of the juicing screens breaking in the Nama J2. Are you putting in Whole, soaked almonds to make almond milk? Maybe soak under vacuum and soak longer, so the almonds get softer before processing? I also recommend making nut milk this way: th-cam.com/video/clvmB_yqu3Y/w-d-xo.html where you will get a more nutritious nut milk and waste less nuts! I have already mentioned to the CEO of Nama to Make 100% stainless steel parts for the J2, and he seemed quite receptive to the idea.

    I got the Nama J2 less than a year ago. I love the performance of it and the quality of the juice. What I don't like about it is that the quality of the parts are just like what I would find at the dollar store.. cheap plastic. One of the parts already broke and the company replaced it promptly but i can tell that other parts will break soon too. Definitely not what I would expect from a machine that price. I would like to hear your reviews for an Omega juicer. Have they made one that beats the Nama J2 in performance? I need to buy one for my daughter and I won't buy the Nama again because of its bad quality.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Leticia, Nama has been continually improving the Nama J2, after determining some of the weak points of the juicer. So the parts on a machine you buy now is stronger than when they first came out. In addition, Nama just INCREASED their parts warranty from 2 years to a FULL 15 YEARS to show their commitment on durability of their machine. Most omega juicers are made in China that have had far more parts breakage than the Korean Made Nama J2.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Earlier in the Year, Omega had not introduced any new juicers. They finally released the Omega Effortless batch juicer, that in my tests compared to the J2 did not fare as well. th-cam.com/video/aqPVaMjIsUg/w-d-xo.html
      With hurom, first they all have short 2 year parts warranties, where Nama and Sana have 15 Year warrantties on their higher-end machines. The hurom models I have tested have not fared that well when comparing against the nama j2
      j2 vs hurom h310 th-cam.com/video/-bJKEt56j4M/w-d-xo.html
      J2 vs hurom h300 th-cam.com/video/-kh0EDAmDEw/w-d-xo.html
      j2 vs hurom h200 th-cam.com/video/pmIV4v9xaMQ/w-d-xo.html
      That is why omega and hurom did not appear in my "best juicers of 2023 episode". If they were to perform better, then they would be in the "best of" video.

      That appears to be a high speed style juicer. I am generally not a fan of high speed machines as they produce a lower quality juice and can't effectively juice leafy greens. I may compare it in a future review if they become more widely available.

      I do not recommend the Angel Juicer due to the policies of the company. The Green Star Elite and Pro are great machines. These style juicers are better for juciing carrots than the auger juicers, but are more difficult to clean and take some strength to use. Be sure to check my other videos for specific videos on the green star elite and pro.

    Hi can you advise on the best juicers to juice wheat grass and sprouts ?
    Something not ridiculously expensive - don't mind putting in the work but prefer a juicer that doesn't produce a lot of foam and allows the enzymes to remain intact. There are some Hurom and Omega brands vertical and horizontal, but I'm not sure what rpm is best to achieve my goal. I've been advised to opt for slow juicers/cold pressed/ mascicating juicers ? Which I'm told are all the same (not quite sure why they're sold under different descriptions) centrifugal and Twin gear are another option but on the websites says the twin gear option offered by a nutritionist as it suppose to give most nutrients but confused.
    As i mentioned before, I'm really just looking to juice mainly greens including spouts Wheatgrass Cucumber Celery etc.
    Brands - Kuving, angel, Hurom, Sana and nama are on the very high end price point. I don't mind paying a tiny extra to get a refurbished/demo hurom but not sure if worth getting refurbished one if its inferior to the megas/others in juicing sprouts and wheat grass. I'm not to fussed about the self juicing element to it.
    I have been advised by another TH-camr to opt for Omega mm1500, mm900 or Omega 8007 as theyre more mid range and best to juice sprouts and wheat grass too. Do you have any other recommendations
    This is the only town gear in my budget.
    Green star elite GSE-5010 TWIN GEAR slow juicer is another one I seen I'm my price point ?
    Is the lowest rmp the best to keep the enzymes intact and not have thenmachine heat up too quickly ?
    Also which are plastic free? I prefer stainless steel or any other material over plastic albeit bpa free

    The Kuvings vacuum blender is smaller than the Dynapro, so can you juice with it (for about 3-4 people) ? Where I live it is the only vacuum blender available (and a few juicers too).
    It would be good a video to compare the Dynapro and the Kuvings blender for juicing purposes .

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      The kuvings vacuum blender home model can be used to vacuum juice. It is not optimal due to the size of the carafe and the width of the carafe. You would just need to do smaller batches and be mindful of precutting things smaller and loading it properly as I explain in my vacuum juicing videos.

    Hi John, I am looking for the best juicer to juice mostly fruit, but not only. From what I gather, considering all that, Nama 2 would be your go-to juicer. I am based in Poland, can you let me know the best way to buy one of these machines over here?

    • @discountjuicers

      For mostly fruit, I would recommend a Vacuum Blender + Alexas Bag OVER the Nama J2. Watch th-cam.com/video/VqRwk_dtjPA/w-d-xo.html Where I show this. If you didn't want to use that method, my next preferred juicer for fruit is the Nama J2. You can order at www.bit.ly/j2juicer and use coupon code DJ55 for a $55 discount. Nama USA can ship to Poland.

    Hey John! What do you think will last longer, the best blender with the best hydraulic press or the best juicer? Let’s say that what I am juicing is not relevant and time to juice is not important. Only longevity of the usage if they were equal. Thank you for what you do. Loving the Nama J2!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Longevity of the appliance? The Dynapro as well as a juicers in this episode (except the Shine XL have 15 year warranties, so the machines should last that long. The Pure juicer has a 12 year warranty. I have seen failure on hydraulic press (manual) juicers often, due to jack failure. Of all of them, the Sana 727 should last the longest, as it has a DC motor.

    Greetings John! I hope you're well? Can you please review the Omega MM1500? I've heard it's a beast for juicing celery and it does other stuff too like you can make hummus, nut butters and sorbets. Thanks so much! ❤️🙏🏽

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is on my list to test. The MM1500 is basically the NC1000 with the "celery knob" that puts more backpressure on the machine to make a more dry pulp when juicing celery, but the cost is more heat and oxidation, and possible jamming of the machine. Watch my NC1000 vs Sana 727 video at th-cam.com/video/o6Eu8m7LCbk/w-d-xo.html to see my thoughts on that machine. Omega promised to send me all their new models back on 3/2022 and I am still waiting for them.

    I like your reviews, John, but - on the other hand - when you test a brand new, out-of-the-box juicer of any kind, any brand, any price, that tells us nothing about what it's like six months, one year, or five years down the line of regular use. It tells us nothing about how much it can take, its ease of use day after day. Or what it's like dealing with the mfr or dealer you bought it from if there is a problem, and problems do happen.

    Sorry but you are saying these are the top 5 best juicers and you are such an expert. However, you never make the qualification that these are only the best out of the specific single auger types. As far as I can tell you are not even comparing twin augers/ gears let alone the 2 stage press ones. Two stage juicers are by far the actual best. I’m sure the reason that you do not mention these is because you don’t not sell them. Norwalk and Pure juicers are the best in every way with absolutely no comparison to the ones you review. That being said, for the type you are comparing…single auger. Then I suppose these are ‘the best’ and the reviews are helpful for those who cannot afford the Norwalk or Pure which I realize is likely most people and most of your audience. It would just be nice if occasionally you would acknowledge the fact there are a entirely different kinds of juicers that are truly better.

    Hey, obvioulsy your videos are much more informative comparing with those videos you were referencing at the beggining, which offer low quality of information, but they have much more viewes than yours. My guess is that the reason behind that are you thumbnails, they are rubbish in comparison with other folks, because they make their thumbnails more atractive and clear this induce much more people to click on those videos. Your thumbnails looks very amature in comparison, firstly they are too busy, I mean there are too much information, you try to put so much text on them that in the small thumbnail that text is barely visible, and there is always photo of a dude in the middle of the juicer. If I was running this channel I would make thumbnails clear with much less text which is readable even on very small thumbnail. What is the point of having very informative video but loosing thousnads viewers because they do not click this video to watch, because of rubbish thumbnail. I have seen your video thumbnails many times but thought to myself it must be some sort of 10 years old videos made by student. Finally I clicked on one of your video but from search results when looking for info on Nama J2, but before knowing about you first I would very unlikely ever click on one of your video thumbnail shown in suggestion results.
