“I see… so you’ve discovered the 11th bomb… the one we planted in your heart before the game began… this is truly the end for you hero. You can’t sweep yourself!”
You see 11, you think this is easy. You flag all the tiles adjacent to the tile, defuse the mine behind you, and finally you defuse yourself (your heart), your mind starts racing. Wait, there’s an 11th mine? You struggle to think where it is, the 11th mine has an 11 minute timer, your mind stresses even more. You keep struggling until the game ends, your mind gets shocked and you get a headache. You realize now, the 11th mine was just imaginary. It was all just in your head, you quickly recover from the headache caused by the explosion and know what to do next time. How to beat it: It’s imaginary, if you think about it in your mind you will find the mine. Then you can defuse it from your imagination.
"Don't you get it, Sweeper? There *is* no 'true final boss' here; only me, the Mine builder, and I'm going to keep fighting until one of us finally falls dead. There is no other escape; you know that, I know that, EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!! *I WILL NOT REST UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD!!"*
11. You tilt your head. That's new. Blindly, you knock out the first 8 blocks immediately. You don't even look back to deal with the 9th. The 10th bomb inside you grows hotter, but you instantly quell it. You wonder where the 11th one is, trying to keep a level head. You look around- behind you? No, what about under you? Not there either. On your head? Not at all. Then it dawns on you... maybe this was all one big misdirect. Maybe, the bomb is- You turn back to the screen, in shock- the 11 _is_ the bomb. Two sticks, red and lit. You grab the mouse again and go to mark it, but it's too late. You wasted too much time. It explodes, knocking you out of your seat and into the wall behind you. Looks like you'll need another computer moniter. As you cough and sit up, though, you can still hear _something_ ticking. Then you remember. 11. One and One. You leap off the wall, back to your desk, looking frantically around, until you look in the mirror, and see your reflection. _You ARE the Bomb_
I just relistened both final boss themes two days ago and now this blessing dropped on us, i didnt knew i needed an entire minesweeper soundtrack but thankfully it exists now
You've accounted for all spatial directions. You found the one behind you in the last phase. But all signs point to the bomb being very close to you... Impossibly close. The bell begins to toll. You hear the countdown. A shiver runs down your spine. It's as if God has played the cruelest of jokes. You are the 11th bomb.
Alright. Once again you are here facing a number you haven't faced before. but this time you are prepared for the unknow. You flag the 8 around the number. you follow them by puting a flag on the one behind you. The tenth as always is you. Now where could the eleventh possibly be. It's not behind your monitor you already checked. Not above or below you either. Neither is the mine counter as you try twice just to make sure. Then you it clicks. The bell. The bell of time signaling a passage of time. No, it couldn't be. You quickly move your mouse downwards to look at the time. 11:11. You've been at this for at least 5 minutes now and yet the time hasn't moved. The realization finally hits. of course. it was always there. Ever since your first ever game. The Mine of past future and present. The one who was always present, forever at your side and always waiting for you at the finish line.
You have flagged all of the bombs around you, you have disabled the mine below you, you deactivated roomba with a mine on its back behind you, you look for the 11th, not seeing it anywhere. You hear something moving quickly through the air, and, in horror, you crane your neck to look upward, and see it, a flying mine, actively decending upon you, what now...
I love that it opens up with such a despair-inducing introduction, as the hero laments at his fate. "How many damn numbers exist in this godforsaken world after all!??" But then it's time to rise and fight like you always have. And if a bigger number ever dares to show its face to you, you *WILL* be ready for it at this rate.
I love how it reuses the music pattern of the first final boss music but changes it to a more Castlevania soundtrack and slows the pace of it to stretch into double the length.
You have done it. You made it past 9. You wrestled past 10. Everyone said it was impossible. Now you stand before 11. What NO ONE has told you is...its all prime numbers from here on out.
As you stare into the computer, you think to yourself, "not this again." But quickly, you soon realise how it's even eleven. A voice suddenly comes through the speaker, it's an Arab sounding one, "well Sir, you have walked straight into my trap, this is a mine, rigged with a bomb, ready to trigger ANOTHER bomb, a nuclear fusion one, good luck even trying to defuse it, as it's practically impossible." As he laughs before the speaker cuts, you say to yourself again. "If this is my final challenge, May God bless my soul through perseverance till the end." You start working on the mine...
You've been through this introduction so many times it's not even a conscious action anymore as you flag the first 8 mines around the tile, spinning around and defusing the 9th. For now, you're still playing relatively careful with mine number 10. Defusing yourself is much further than most make it. Only the most dedicated of warriors can even reach this point, let alone succeed. However, you've been through this numerous times. You've, ironically, lost count. And you start to defuse the 11th mine. Everything it is made of would be completely alien to even the greatest minds of science. But *you.* You are no longer bound by the laws of the strange, mine-ridden universe that had once kept you hostage. You're able to work at incredible speeds, without even the delays of your own thought, as long as you just keep calm. *You are number one. You are number 10. And this... This is no place for a God to die.* If you fail here, it's not what you once thought of as a simple numbers game. It's not just your life. As the absurdity of that statement begins to set in, you remember everything that brought you here...
I personally prefer the softer, more grandeur track like these, although 9 totally encapsulated the panic of "Where is the 9th bomb?!" As a stand-alone track, this one is the best.
this implies there are 3 other mines near the mines surrounding the 11. in that case, the easiest way to defeat an 11 is to click tiles that are 3 tiles from the 11 and pray there wasn't a stray mine there. also how is your rpg (hero's advent)?

You either are a poet or need to become one. Wright a book bro
8 in the computer..
1 for you
And 2 for each of your parents
The first eight are all around the cell
The ninth one is the cell itself
The tenth one is behind you
The eleventh one is under your chair

Truly one of the minesweeper of all time
We need a Minesweeper Storu Mode, and this guy needs to make the soundtrack
I like that this a more epic version of the other one, truly the final boss!
*Gets hit with phase 3*

This isn't minesweeper anymore. This is war
it's all craps and giggles until you start seeing tanks
awesome that it's now counting UP instead of down
please never stop making these, the 9 one is nostalgic, the 10 one is creative, and this one is just SO FUCKING GOOD
I SWEAR YOUR MUSIC NEVER MISSES THIS IS ACTUALLY AMAZING
It doesn't matter how high the number... nothing beats the flag!
Possibly the best song I’ve ever heard
YES, I LOVE THIS!!!!!! GREAT JOB JOREL I LOVE HERO ADVENT'S BOSS BATTLE AND NOW THIS

8 mines all around you, 9th is you, 10th is Murray (final boss), 11th is the god of mines (Murray's second form).
Creepypasta main character when they see a game turn into a completely different game be like:
I think, 9 was the best one
the trilogy is completed. we've come full circle
Nah, we still need final phase
well, not exactly... 3D minesweeper has 27 adjacent spots around a cell
It's FAR FROM ENDING
yeah 16 more
The next one should be a secret boss and the boss should be negative 1, and if the secret boss had a phase 2 it would be the square root of -1
imagine you click on a tile and it just says i
music to make a glitter bomb to
*you have past my trials but now is time to get heated here HAHAHA* goes hard with this one
Is this the next Sans Last Breath?
Yep.

Hey, STUniverse. Thanks for reminding me to do this. 11 should be live on Spotify very soon. I'll let you know when it is.

yeah
it could be a clock ticking instead. that seems like it would sound less annoying and would lean into the fact you dug into 3 time bombs
