I have the same "issue" that you do. If you watch CasmosTV videos on this chopper his seat position is quite a bit lower. His eyes are more level with the top of the dash, whereas you and myself for some reason, are looking OVER the dash. I can't figure out why that is. I do run 21:9 resolution at 3440 x 1440, what about you? Just trying to figure out the culprit. That being said, I am absolutely loving this bird. I fly a good mixture of Apache, Mi-24, and Mi-8 so a new SKID chopper is nice and refreshing. Very light and maneuverable. If I can't get the little bird, then I'll happily settle for this!
I run 1080p sir. Btw, OH-6A is available as a mod right now, but be advised that it's flight model is extremely twitchy :) I prefer the Kiowa flight model by a large margin. In current state, dont really enjoy flying the Cayuse.
@@Adalla What are your thoughts on the difference in seat heights though? CosmosTV somehow lowered his seat or something, we're both looking over the dash.
@@Solo6R To be honest I never really noticed the seat position. Typically there will be a seat height adjustment, at least there is in most jets. If there isnt one, the other option would be to slew the camera vertically using Ctrl Shift and up/down arrows on numpad. That might do the trick. I'll look into it my next flight. I learned all the basic systems/weapons, video coming up to showcase tomorrow.
@@Adalla I'll try those camera shifting controls and see if that helps. I've got all the systems figured out and having a blast with it. Very fun little bird to throw around.
@@Adalla One thing I'm still trying to figure out is if there is an AUTO lase of any sort, or if holding the laser down manually until impact (for any weapon) is required.
I'm jealous, and now want this game... I used to work in these in the army. Interesting fyi... You can't have a machine gun, and rocket pods on both sides. I have to balance the weight when doing your weapons loadout. It runs with a .50 Cal browning and a giant external mounted ammo can. I would have to give you a stack of hellfires on the other side. Or a large rocket pod. Also, when you fire the machine gun in flight. It has enough recoil that it rotates your nose down. A pilot has to shoot short burst and recover. 5-9 rounds tops. ... But this is all real world things. Not really criticism. More... Fyi, if you cared.
Thanks for sharing. Love to hear real world details like that. Yeah I'm not sure I notice any recoil or movement when shooting the 50 cal. I'll have to pay attention next time :)
@@Adalla nah its a sim. Things like that aren't usually a mechanic added. The fighters don't rock to the opposite side when you fire missiles/drop bombs either. Happens in real life cause weight just fell off one side.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong in this module. I just keep spinning or going backwards and tipping over, haven't had a problem in any other helo. What is the best way to get a steady forward flight?

I have to say you're the reason I bought the Kiowa, and i'm loving it so far!! p.s. what map was this?
Wow, I hope you are loving it as much as I am. This is Cyprus, on the Syria map. Southwest of the island near Akrotiri.
