@somethingwittygoeshere4364 The genetics of his back were also very good, but he never trained properly to develop it carefully, besides he didn't know how to pose.
Psycho worked with him in the past and said his problem is his back doesn't get hard like the rest of his body, his arms and shoulders contract when hitting the back double biceps instead of it mainly his back
Awesome showdown! I thoroughly enjoy your voices and inflections. I have been lifting for nearly 30 years now and am a muscular and reasonably lean 265 pounds at just a shade over 6'2." Keep up the awesome work! 👍
Paul was also like Gary strydom . Just unbelievable to the front and the side. But absolutely horrible from behind specially in the rear double his back just disappeared.
@@Aybee.AB-.-72 When considering the guys that Zane beat like Robbie Robinson, Mike Mentzer, Ken Waller, and Boyer Coe, you really don't think that he'd stand a chance at all VS the 2nd place 2024 classic physique olympia competitor? Might be worth a look. Mike Sommerfeld vs Samir Bannout could be more interesting tho
2 of my most favorite non Olympia winners here! But Gunter edges out Paul with better shred and a superior back. Gunter, the IRL superhero physique!💪🏻🤘🏻
I get so frustrated thinking about Paul dillet one of the most dominant physiques in bodybuilding, but he just didn’t focus on posing complete waste of potential
That front double bicep of Dillett is one of the best in bodybuilding history. His biceps are damn near as wide as his waist. Unlike Gunther, who has a huge blocky waist.
Is it just me or does Paul look like Pennywise in the abs and thighs pose? lmao I've said this before about Gunter, he is by far the most pleasant person. Always has a smile and cordial even when dieting.
The widest ripcage ever had Victor Martínez. But too wide ripcage isn‘t good for the front lat spread becouse you can‘t see the lats properly. But from behind it’s the best tool in the rear lat and rear double biceps.
The IFBB did Gunther dirty. Man was was able to be huge while maintaining rock hard conditioning.
Out of all my years of watching bodybuilding I have come to a conclusion that Paul Dillet had the greatest genetics in bodybuilding history.
from the front and side maybe but man those back poses are just so ugly
Paul's both posing and training was shit also his asthma and cramp problem on stage

you people made my day this means more to me than the placing - gunter 02
Despite paul back detail and posing! He is a genetic freak from shoulder and waist ratio and legs is unmatched!

Gunter is an uncrowded king
True. He looked even better at 02 Mr. O then the SoS. He deserved 02 Mr. O more than Phil deserved 08 and more than Ray deserved 94
@natepolidoro4565 it's too late to crown him now
Just standing there or standing “relaxed “ dillet is one of the best of all time , next to Andrew jacked
Coincidentally has the same problem as Andrew. Underwhelming from the side and back.
@ Andrew side, tricep and rear lat spread isn’t bad . Once he fills his frame out more , he’ll be unstoppable
@@josephohrablo4866He is 40 already
@@Ayva_K yes and ? He also got into competing late in the game so his body still has the ability to improve
Paul’s lats don’t look too small in the front double and abs and thigh. I think he just didn’t know how to pose and flex his back at all
He has the gary strydom syndrome
Gunter wins smile pose
👏🏼👏🏼 nice little comparison
I would say Gunters rear lat
spread in this comparison
here is the best rear lat
spread pose in the entire
bodybuilding history. Yeah.
Nice idea for a comparison
Jurassic Paul was on another level.
Paul was also like Gary strydom . Just unbelievable to the front and the side. But absolutely horrible from behind specially in the rear double his back just disappeared.
Strydom's chest, shoulders and quads were great.
@ to the front and side Gary looked like Mr Olympia . To the rear like a true novice .
I like both. Always have. Gunters biggest issue was his waist. Very blocky. But then Paul had a lackluster back. Oh well.. they both win.. 😊
Lou Ferrigno vs Dillet and Dorian
Ran into Paul in 1990 at a club in
Ft Lauderdale My God his arms where atleast 24 inches Monster!
Paul was legit 6'4" while Gunther 6'2".
Very good comparison. Mike Sommerfeld VS Frank Zane would be a really solid pick for a future vid
Nah, man. Zane is a relic by today's standard. He can't win a single pose against mike

Easy win for Paul
I retract my statement
…turn to the rear
My 2 fave of all time nice one
Quincy Taylor 6'4"
Lou Ferrigno 6'4.5"
Ralf Moeller 6'6"
Jamie Christian-Johal 6'5"

video idea which olympia level bodybuilder had the worst back paul takes some beating
Paul, and Gary Strydom!
Can u do a comparison with big Ron Russian GP 04? He was big as a house at this contest. Thx
That front double bicep of Dillett is one of the best in bodybuilding history. His biceps are damn near as wide as his waist. Unlike Gunther, who has a huge blocky waist.
both needed help with posing
paul had a genetic like ronnie .he is underated.
No
Just one genetic.
Paul still won though.
Gunter's back wasn't impressive enough in my opinion to put him over Paul because other then the back shots Paul won every other pose
Why was my comment deleted? It was a vs request what the hell?
I prefer Gunther. More complete and conditioned.
Is it just me or does Paul look like Pennywise in the abs and thighs pose? lmao I've said this before about Gunter, he is by far the most pleasant person. Always has a smile and cordial even when dieting.
No contest. Gunter 8 of 8
Ahahaha 😆
Ahahaha 😆. We've found a ws.
Paul wins quite easily.
Agreed. Gunter would take Paul.
Nasir El somebody was close to 300 uncrowned Mr Olympia he got robbed a few times. Paul Dillet what's one of the greats
Coleman 🗣️: paul was another level
Paul crampzilla
Günther was peeeeleed
Paul won more poses. That side tricep pic you chose was awful. I’ve seen better side triceps shots from Paul.
Paul wins.
Gunter!
Paul Dillet had too much SYNTHOL in his rear delts and his ribcage was too small.
