What a great podcast! I have never gotten such insight into who Paul Dillett is as an individual and he is so funny! You should definitely bring him on the podcast again
What a great podcast 😊, hearing Big Paul bring up so many great memories, got to meet him at a guest posing real nice guy big as hell , I didn’t realize he was that close to Chris , thanks again !!! SR.
I remember an article in Robert Kennedy’s Musclemag. I think a backstage report about the Arnold Classic. A picture of paul wearing a white tight t-shirt. Unbelievable !! What a sight. This was a great one guys. We love your stories !! Thx team, made my week ! Hiding the protan 🤣😂
I love how bodybuilding is one of the only things in life that brings our different yet same cultures together with no negativity or bs woke crap involved. It’s one of the last places we have to escape life and relax thanks for the pod cast
Finally the original Dino, Jurassic Paul Dillet. A interview with him is really rare these days. Good job Guys!! The “old school” guys have better and entertaining stories than the social media guys of today😂
Awesome show! Great to see and hear from Paul! He was and is one of my all time favorite bodybuilders from back in the day. Glad he's doing well. Happy New Year gentlemen. Cheers.
He looked awful. Its not just about size. Its got to flow and be in proportion. And these guys today just dont have it. Sergio remains the greatest there ever was..
@@fender1000100 For massmonster, he had great proportions. But in general, I agree. The 1970-80s had the most aesthetic bodybuilders. Serge Nubret, Bertil Fox...
fantastic round table with Paul presence ... he is a legend from the golden era . we 90s guys grew up with these legends. and of course milos and chris and denis and other big names in bodybuilding history ... thats mesmerizing how many legends can come out from a decade back then !
All the guys stories are so hilarious. Makes you wish you could have been along for the ride with them, you can tell how much they loved those times. Fantastic podcast 👏
Paul Dillette the most impressive physique in history when just standing still and from the front of all time. The man looked more jacked than an anime character.
i remember Paul Dillett from the magazines..so big and those vains..so fun to see him in a real podcast, and see he is a normal and kind person.. imagine being a young fitness/bodybuilder growing up today, being able to watch youtube videos, vlogs and podcast of their heroes everyday....not just magazines, believing everyone got big by eating twinlab supps and 3x10 programs ...Good Job Dennis, you are a great host.
God bless you all guys !!! Those days were MY days !!!! I remember all those contests you’re speaking about and hearing all your stories make my day !!!!
Yea, all these guys are pushing 60 and all alive and well not dead from the “roids” I see these idiots say on TH-cam comments section I see someone say roids and know right away they know nothing about it
I was expecting them to respectfully ask Paul why he wasn't that good at posing (not just back double biceps but in general). Also was expecting Paul to explain in detail why he had trouble doing the bdb when they mentioned it. I've heard that he has asthma and had shoulder problems from playing football in Canada. I always assumed these things held him back somewhat but I could be wrong. But anyways great podcast as usual. Been waiting a long time to hear from the freakiest bodybuilder of the 90s.
I was at the Arnold Classic when Paul had the cramping issue. We were sitting in the same row as Flex Wheeler and Shawn Ray. When Paul locked up Flex was yelling "Fight it baby, fight it". If Paul wouldn't have had issues he would have won the show. It was scary when they carried a locked up Paul off stage.
That's how you retire with class and being smart. The guy has nothing to prove by staying big into later life, and to see him skinny and healthy by fasting and taking care of himself is awesome. No judgement on those who still like to be big well into their 50's/60's, you do you, but at some point you just have to 'let it go' and focus on a long and happy life!
Paul Dillett is probably my favorite bodybuilder of all time. Just as Milos said, if he could have done those back poses properly, he would have been Mr O. No one had that kind of size and crazy genetics. Not even Flex. Flex was a small guy next to Dillett. What a legend!
Happy New Year. Great to see Paul doing this type of stuff. If you have too many guys on for the 300th episode, it will be like an old school Olympia press conference.
Great Podcast. Great to see Paul Dillett on the show, it's been a long time coming. I've always considered the '90s the golden age of bodybuilding because the quality and presentation of physiques were head and shoulders above what we see today. I don't know whether it's the increase use of drugs or simply the sport has just lost its way, but either way the IFBB needs to get the sport back to a place where we're seeing and judging athletes on balance of size, muscularity, and symmetry. I do agree with Dennis that we knew the top 10 placings at the 90s Olympia because the physiques were so good. Nowadays it hard to remember the placings after 4th! You guys are great. Keep up the great work, and try to have more 90s bodybuilders on the podcast because I like to here the stories.
Love Chris but sometimes when he starts trying to explain something, he hasn't a clue what he's trying to say, it's like he's commenting on a totally different subject but then mixing two different explanations into one, christ, I'm even confused trying to explain it 🤣🤣🤣
So good to the Paul :-) I was hoping you would get him on the show! One of the few who could compete gead to head with Ronnie if he had nailed down the posing but did he not battle some shoulder problems and that was one of the reasons why he was not able to show how insane his lats were!
Great podcast love hearing these old stories i used to get phone calls from Ed Connors asking me to come to America i had no idea at the time who he was

I’m Paul needs to be on social media he could grow a large channel id like to see him do natural bodybuilding and collabs with other bodybuilders I would watch it
Paul is such a wholesome and lovely guy, please invite him to more of your podcasts.
Nice to see Paul, he is more humble than I ever imagine, he is one of the greats. Dope podcast as usual.
Another Great Podcast! Always good! My favorite!
Love Paul, please do a big round table with Paul, flex, Ricco, Chris and Milos.🙏
And Lee
Dont forget Dorian 💪
And Kevin Levrone, it would be so awesome! Just don't invite Shawn Ray 😂🤣😂🤣
@@yashara2283not lee. He will just take over the conversation and make everything about himself.
What a great podcast! I have never gotten such insight into who Paul Dillett is as an individual and he is so funny! You should definitely bring him on the podcast again
Finally big Paul on a podcast, my most favourite physique of all time, thanks Dennis
Same hedge if I could have one bodybuilders body, Paul’s would be it
What a great podcast 😊, hearing Big Paul bring up so many great memories, got to meet him at a guest posing real nice guy big as hell , I didn’t realize he was that close to Chris , thanks again !!! SR.
Look at Milo's face when Paul says "that was when we all started to experience with insulin" 😅

Because, you earn every inch in bodybuilding. A weak mentality is a failing mentality
I don't know where you're getting the the no negativity thing from, bbing has more drama than Real Housewives.
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise that's Men's Physique 😂🤣
Well said
Paul is such a soft spoken gentleman. Thank you guys for this podcast! Fan from day 1!

Yeah don't know what happened to Bertil Fox. He must have had a serious bout of roid rage. Ended up killing two women.
He said somene measured his arms to show. Okay, then where the PHUCK is it! Can't find nothing at ALL.
What a great guy Paul. Great episode.
Need more Paul in the future. Good to see him again.

Great podcast, was so good to see Paul on , and some of the stories are hilarious 😂, hope he's back again soon 👍👍
I saw Dillet next to Dorian @ 97 British Grand Prix & they were comparable sizes ! Happy New Year. Big love, kindest regards, Richard U.K

Should have let Paul talk more and ask him about his business.

Omg I'm halfway through and dying laughing over Chris telling Paul stories. Absolutely great show guys !!! 👍🏾
I trained with Paul Dillett at Golds Gym Sunrise FL before he moved to So. Cal. Still the Freakiest of the Freaks to this day.

So nice that Paul got in to this Podcast. I think this is the first time i have heard his storys from back in the days.
I wish you guys brought up on Paul starting the WBFF
Paul Dillett was a beast but sooo aesthetic. His front was without peer. Amazing arms and delts and legs
Paul looks really healthy and youthful. He's a guy I would've assumed would be in bad shape by now.
No, not at all, he looks weird to me …
He downsized immediately, never held onto the muscle
