My name is Nat and I am an autistic and disabled singer that has had classical training. I am based on the South Coast in the Garden of England. Music has always played an important part in my life as a man that can not always connect in the world of convosation but music somehow gives me a voice and the courage to start talking about my passion.. Comunication has its closed doors. Music gives an open passport for me to connect on every level.
I work on the basis of a reaction should be just that, you don't get another crack at it! As the great Whitney said, 'one moment in time!" One take. No rehearsals. What you see from me is it. I know every reactor says that but it's true (please feel free to check my body lau.) I never pre-screen anything I see or work from scripts or notes. I'm completely open, emotive and sensitive with my audience.
Some find me cringy, OTT or even hard to watch. That's fine but I still think my self expression is one of the reasons my Gothins keep on returning. I have a real problem with fake BS. I will only react and analysis what I care for and not for views. I will never sell my channel or YOU, my loyal fanbase up that river; that's why you will never see any trending and in-vouge fashion groups and singers (until I really love them!) on my chaanel.

This is the song that got me into Helloween. Been obsessed ever since!
I was in the 80's and witnessed this on Headbangers Ball, when Mtv still played music. Helloween was awesome. Keeper Of The Seven Keys is a great album.
I got to watch Gamma Ray on Spanish tv.
Gamma Ray were my first metal crush, Land of the free my first metal álbum bought with my savings.
After that, I discovered my dad had vinils of helloween, black Sabbath and iron maiden (I guess he was a closeted metalhead 🤣)
They still are a great band!
What is even more amazing is that Michael Kiske (lead singer) was only 18 years when this song was recorded!! 18!!! That much power, range and contol at 18. Kiske has a 4-octave rage, from c2 to A5.
What about that E5 he does at 9:58? Wait, is A5 higher or lower than E5? 🤔
@@NS1. As counterintuitive as it might seem, A5 is HIGHER than E5, but both are in the Soprano range - which very, very few men can actually produce without going into falsetto mode.
@@billsager5634 - I see. So, there's the E5...then F, G, A.. That's 3 steps/notes higher!😮 You're saying he can hit an A, three steps higher than that already high as hell E5?
@@NS1. Considering that Kiske is well into his 50's now, he may no longer have the entire range. Most singers lose their upper register as they age. Kiske was only 18 when he recorded the album version of this song.
Another opera singer TH-cam reaction content creator, reacted to a live performance of "Keeper of the Seven Keys", and she was impressed no only with Kiske's vocal range, but also the way he grounded himself when singing. The combination of knowing how to sing, how to ground yourself, and taking care of one's health - is why some singers maintain range and quality longer than other singers.
When on tour, singers usually hold back as well. Freddy Mercury - one of rock's greatest singers - held back on live performances unless they were recorded/broadcast, as doing 200+ shows a year puts tremendous strain of the vocal chords. And in Freddie's case, he was a natural baritone, who usually sang in the tenor range - which adds extra stain on the vocal chords.
I remember seeing them in 1987 in Allentown, Pa and it was phenomenal.

I'm more than old enough to have watched the video when it 1st came out, being born in the 1960's. Helloween was a breath of fresh air in an era when Hair Metal turned from innovative rock to glam/pop. The entire album, Keeper of the Seven Keys, Part I is a masterpiece. Check out "Eagle Fly Free", "Dr. Stein" (a hilarious take on Dr. Frankenstein), and of course the title track "Keeper of the Seven Keys"

Michael Kiske really is one of the greatest examples of a true tenor in metal music. Specifically belting and vibrato is his thing and still going at it now as a lot older. I recommend the songs: Keeper of the seven keys and eagle fly free. There’s a great more recent video of helloween when he sings halloween live. Really great!
