Hey there. One of my viewers said you sent them to me. I thought I would come on over and check out your channel. Thank you so much for all of the kind comments. And keep up the good work with your videos.
@Slightly Rednecked You are very welcome. You do a great job with your quail and rabbits! Yes sir, I refer a lot of folks to you because I have great respect for your knowledge. Thanks for helping all of us be successful with our quail and rabbits! Have a peaceful week 👍
Might be a bit late but you might want to line the tray for your dropping with laminate. I have it on the floor of my chicken coop and it makes it easy for clean up instead of it ending up on the wood floor. Great set up!
Chris has a fantastic youtube channel. Chris has inspired me to get involved with quail. Currently I'm waiting on my first batch of quail eggs. I'm so excited to get started. Love your channel. Thank you for all your hard work. God Bless you both. 🙏 Robin in FL
This truly wonderful!!! Some people don't have room for livestock.. Or yard birds. This, including rabbit hutches. Will give those individuals a chance to have their own quails, quail eggs and rabbits too.. Awesome video. Thank you for sharing.
Great build! Meat and eggs just like chickens but tasting like quail! As always your planning and prep lead to a great outcome. God bless and keep healthy!
I've waited a while for the video. I'm not disappointed. You are so precise. It's a blessing to watch. They are awesome. I'm so happy for you guys. Glad to know you're both doing well.
Thank you so much for watching. We released part 1 last September but there seemed to be a la k of interest. We debated weather or not to even release the rest of the series. With the current health crisis and food shortages we decided to finish the series hopefully to help folks become more self sufficient. Thanks for watching Abigail. Best of luck to you with your Quail❤️
Good stuff! I just recently became interested in quail after hitting one with my car. I stopped to see if it was injured or killed and was shocked at how much weight it had. We have chickens, but I’m now thinking of adding quail to our little homestead!
Hollis, I think I only need a readable copy of the lumber dimension list you have created to make a quail hutch of my own. I want to make 3 of them before spring. Can you please let me know how best to acquire the plan?
Hi hollis. I watch all your videos. Amazing.!!!. Not only do I watch them, But,I live by them in my own home as I built it on my property!. Also,I like the fact that at the end of each video, You throw in a piece of scripture!. God bless you and Nancy!. I love yous!. Here's my Question now, In the quail department. You built a broader for then in the corner, With a door on top, broader made of metal. How can I build it???. I have you not having this build in any of your videos. It would be appreciated!. Have a blessed day...
I got some bobtail quail and them jokers fling themselves at the door when it opens. Any ideas for a cage that they can’t do that. I can’t get in to feed and clean without at least 1 getting out
Hollis, I do not have a facebook acct and would desperately like to acquire the drawings or plans for the quail pen you have made for my personal use. Please contact me and let me know if the plans are available. I've built several of your creations that have been very helpful. God bless!
They don’t have detailed drawings you just have to go off the video as is. What I did was snap pics of everything he was working on and scaled it to the enclosure I needed . He does show a drawing of what materials you need, but it’s vague and you can barely see it. I would say if your trying to build this coop you would need to have some wood building experience.
Our goal is to put enough foos to sustain us for one year and still have enough to feed Nancy’s mother. We also need enough to share with our neighbors and family members. We also donate to the local soup kitchen that Nancy volunteers at
Dear wonderful people I think I made the mistake of joining a Quail group on Facebook and all I’m hearing is how stinky messy and rat/mice infested Quail environments are can you share your experience on this
I hate my county, we're not allowed to have any rabbits, fowl, or farm animals outside. All of the neighboring counties allow 4 hens but mine refuses to change.

Hey Hollis, please use your original intro music. My wife and I miss this as it just seems to fit your channel better. Thx!
We started trying to give many different background musics ❤️
Hollis, I have a question about the garlic & pepper pest deterrent. Will it stay on the plants you spray and be too hot to eat?
It rinses off. No lasting heat

Want to see the chicken and the quails
Chicken setup series resumes Thursday. Raising quail series begins September
Talk about using your gifts. Your blessed. do you sing or play an instrument? Hi to Nancy and Mr Bing.
Hollis can play several instruments, guitar is his favorite 🎸
@@HollisNancysHomestead I knew it. He left nothing on the table😄. Good for him. I would like to hear a snippet of his playing the guitar, if he will.🎸
He can’t play anymore due to loss of some movement in his index finger on his left hand. Too much hard work is taking its toll on his body
@@HollisNancysHomestead I understand completely. Just continue in the Lord's favor and keep safe.
#2 of 5....did I miss something? 😥
