Thank you so much! I downloaded an app off the Play store that asked for access to storage, which I would have needed for this app. For some reason it corrupted the 512 GB SD card. I slapped it into my SD reader, did the repair through scndsk (which I should have thought to do before I panicked) and it found corruption in the boot, and the bitmap. 20 mins later, and all is good again!
Is it possible for my sd card to get corrupted because of my phone or no? Because i brought 2 sd card and they both got corrupted, now im planning to buy a third one, but now that i think about it, it might be my phone's fault
Hi there, thank you for your question! phone can corrupt an SD card due to issues like a faulty card slot, power instability, software bugs, or file system errors. If the phone turns off suddenly while writing data or if the card isn’t fully compatible, corruption may occur. Before buying a third SD card, test your current cards in another device to rule out the phone as the problem.
My sd card not detected 😢, in my phone or even i put my sd card (with sd card adaptor) to notebook/pc. which one i must using method for back up or recovery my data in micro sd card ? Do you have Any solution ? Big thanks.
Hi there, thank you for your question! If you tried the steps in the video its most likely a hardware issue with the SD card and I would recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.
Help me plz!!! My SD card is like non rewriteable it gets deleted but when remove and use it again the data is still there you cant save something in it.
Hi there, thank you for your question! it could be due to write protection, corruption, or physical damage. First, check if there's a write protection switch on the card or adapter and ensure it’s set to unlocked. If that’s fine, try formatting the card using your computer’s file manager or Disk Utility on Mac(this will erase all data on the drive). If formatting fails, use Diskpart on Windows by opening Command Prompt as Administrator and running diskpart, then select disk X, and attributes disk clear readonly. Run error checking through the Properties of the card or First Aid in Mac's Disk Utility. If issues persist, consider using dedicated tools like the SD Card Formatter or the manufacturer's repair tools.
i tried to format it like you had said but it didn't work it said DiskPart has encountered an error: The parameter is incorrect. See the System Event Log for more information. can you help me on how to solve this
Hi there, thank you for your question! First try open Command Prompt as an administrator and run diskpart. Use list disk to identify your drive, then select disk X (replace X with your disk number). Next, type clean to remove all partitions, followed by create partition primary to recreate the partition, and then select partition 1 and active to make it active. Format the drive using format fs=ntfs quick (or format fs=fat32 quick for Mac use) and assign it a letter with assign letter=X. Finally, type exit to leave DiskPart. If that doesn't work it might be an issue with the drive itself and I would recommend taking it to a professional
Hi there, thank you for your question! First, test the card on another device or use a different card reader to rule out hardware issues. If it remains inaccessible, use data recovery software like Recoverit to attempt to get your data. On Windows, check Disk Management to see if the card shows as "RAW" or unallocated, or use Disk Utility on Mac to repair it with the "First Aid" option. If recovery is successful or data isn’t needed, format the card using FAT32 or exFAT. If these steps fail, the card may be physically damaged and need replacement.
