My baby girl turns 3 months next week and I already transitioned her to her own room/crib and its been a game changer! I sleep with the baby monitor column on. I feel like the entire house is so much more rested
Our baby is a few weeks younger than yours so these videos are super helpful! Hopefully this sleep regression is over soon and you get some much needed rest! :) We’ve been living in our house more than a year and literally the only room that’s done and that I like is the nursery. So we made it a resolution to make a list of 12 things we want to do in our house and we have one month to complete each of those things. I am super indecisive and never get anything because I want to make sure I really like it and it’s worth the money lol. Can’t wait to finally make our house a HOME and excited to see you decorate yours!🤍
How many naps are you trying for? two 2 hour naps or 2 over 1.5hr mark is suffient in day if bub is getting 12 overnight example 7pm- 7am then down 10-12pm and then 2-4pm and then bedtime 7pm again. Works very good and might get you into the correct routine rather than constantly putting him down for short naps where he is not going past 1st sleep cycle of 40min.
Wait haha you described my night word for word, even the nightmares. Finally at 4am I moved him from his bassinet to the crib and he slept til 7. Currently on my second coffee. Good luck making it through the day. Tired baby and tired mom is no fun
Also he could for sure be teething too. I find a frozen face washer helps alot. Nurofen helps when it is waking them up from their sleep the pain, best as anti-inflammatory. My second baby was early teether, and praying my third baby due late March is born with all his teeth 😂
Ugh went through this with my son at the beginning of Dec. It lasted 2 weeks of him waking up every hour and a half to 2 hours then on the third week it was around 4 times a night. Thankfully now he is over it and seems to be back to normal!
Don’t worry girlie, little cute Rocky will be back in routine soon :) You started sleep training early so his regression makes sense and his most likely hitting a growth spurt!! Try putting him down with out being swaddled he may be over it too!!! Keep doing what you are doing momma!!! Love your videos!!! Can’t wait to see what this year has to offer for you :) cheers to you this brew year! :)
Thanks for keeping it real girl! I love my sweet little boy more than anything in the world, but that doesn't mean that motherhood isn't freaking hard sometimes!
my little boy is turning 5 months on the 17th and i think were in the sleep regression phase too. on monday he was SO upset. cried almost the whole night and woke up at 3 and 5/6 am. the second night was better but still rough. were in the middle of transitioning out of the swaddle and maybe trying out the crib, and so far its not going so well. but we will get there!
My LO is the same age as yours and currently going through it! I got some helpful hints couple days ago and those seem to be helping a lot, so praying we’re over it soon!
My son was born Aug 25th and he has never slept through the night but for a while only woke up once during an 8 hour period at night. Now he’s waking up about three times to nurse. I talked to a professional nanny a few days ago and she told me that all this is so normal and the reason why they do that is because their brains and bodies are growing so fast and they need a lot of milk at this age. That could be why your milk is low because he’s taking in more and not nursing during the night will definitely lower your supply. I’m sorry I know you weren’t asking for advice but I was hoping to help since I’m kind of going through the same thing. He’s only sleeping a few naps a day for about 30 minutes each nap and I’m dying LOL. But he’s never been a good daytime sleeper anyway. That’s the reason why I’m talking to nannies trying to figure out if that’s the way to go. Anyway, I have been taking legendary milk supplements and I eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast and it seems to be helping a lot to keep him fed. I also taught him to drink out of a cup already so in case he needs milk when I’m not around or formula he can take a cup. I didn’t want to get him started on a bottle at this age and then just have to take it away from him. He’s doing pretty good with the cup with help. I’ve also started him on some solid food because he is already almost 20 pounds! I hope my unsolicited advice helps in someway but I am here if you ever need to talk about anything. I hope you get some much-needed rest soon!
Getting your period lowered my milk supply temporarily. Even if you feel like you have no milk the best thing to do is allow him to continue nursing which will encourage another let down n increase your milk supply. It’s normal to go through phases where you feel like you’re supply is not keeping up. Your supply just needs to adjust to his new demands as he’s getting older n requiring more ounces a day.
Hey again! Where are your shorts from?! I’ve been trying to find them and can’t 😂 I remember you wearing them in another video as well. Stay at hike mom life has me wanting all the cute but comfy clothes!
It is a growth spurt, be best not to feed on a schedule but on babies demand during the 4 month growth spurt. Baby is just doing what babies do which is increase supply accordingly..that is feedings are more frequent.
Sammmeeee!! Some of the nights are horrible and they are slowly get better. We are also trying to get out of the swaddle and I bought the Magic Merlin suit and it has not been an issue. I wonder if he would prefer to be in that versus a swaddle at night but I’m not ready for him to be in his crib at night either! 😭 Sending hugs!! Also, postpartum periods are the worst and of course happened right now 🤦🏻♀️❤️
We're in the thick of the regression too. Our 3.5 month old used to sleep through the night and she has been waking up 3-5 times a night the last week :(
I’m in the same boat with my babe about too big for bassinet but not I’m not ready for night time in crib away from me. Can you let me know what pack n play you ordered? I’m gonna order one tonight! Thanks so much for sharing
I’ll share the link! And make an update soon about how he’s doing :) www.target.com/p/graco-pack-n-play-playard-simple-solutions-portable-playard-hadlee/-/A-52210297
Could you also touch on or give advice on getting your baby to sleep longer throughout the night? My son is 3 months old and his eat/sleep schedule is all over the place.. We haven’t been able to get him to sleep more than 4 hours max through the night and that has only been a couple times.. most nights is still 2-3 hour stretches! I would love to get even 8 hours of sleep again! Hoping for a silver lining soon with this sleep deprivation! 🥴 lol
Ps you are not alone! Silas has been getting up at 3 am the past few nights and cooing/laughing at me.. he’s definitely found his voice these past couple weeks which is adorable yet exhausting! 😫
I’ve been feeding on demand with my daughter (3 months old) and she eats like legit 12 times a day or something crazy lol I can’t even imagine only 5 times!
Yeah my cousin is a nutritionist for pregnant and babies up to a year old. She helped me tremendously and also told me that all these teas and lactation cookies are just to take your money. Your body knows how much to feed your babe. As long as the baby is nursing your body will lactate enough milk for you little. But any who breastfeeding should be anywhere from 10 times a day to like 12. Especially when they’re newborns.
Poor mama! When you get your period your supply can dip so it could just be he’s not getting as much as normal. Hang in there mama, this too shall pass.
It definitely happens to me- from ovulation to my period I take a calcium magnesium supplement (very important that they are together) and that seems to help!!!!!

I've read that your period does make your supply dip a bit.
I’ve heard that too!! Luckily that’s been the only experience of it, trying my best to stay on my water!!
