As a kid growing up in the 70's, I was always told that a gentleman always walks on the outside of a female he is with, so they are protected from the curb side of the pavement. It's something I do to this day, and it feels odd and unnatural if I don't. So, yes, always have the female walk on the inside and be a gentleman.

I remember going to a high school dance, I walked past a girl and my hand ended up brushing against hers. I can still see and hear her freaking out and going, "You're trying to hold my hand? EWW!" What did I do? I stood there thinking to myself, "What is her problem? It was an accident." Something about that incident made me feel it'd be best to avoid all physical contact with women so I wouldn't experience such a reaction, and it lingered on into my adulthood. Thankfully, I met people who helped me overcome that obstacle, and this video is helping me even more.
I had a similar experience. When I was in middle school, I went to a school dance. There was a conga line that I tried to join. The girl in front of me looked at me and said, "Ew. Don't touch me." All I did was try to join the conga line. Now that I think about it, that incident is one of the reasons I'm scared to touch girls.

No, really. We discovered that during the 1950s, women were more likely to initiate moves with guys than they are now. Mormon books, worldly books, & books that are a weird mix of the two, like _Twilight_ have seemingly conditioned women to thinking that they should do nothing at all for relationships, so the best they can do is not ever look even slightly taken. But that's not what the Bible says. In the Bible, the best relationships, like Ruth & Boaz, had the woman be as proactive as the man. Modern culture & cults both discourage that because mutual proactivity makes people that much harder to control.
I agree with you Melanie, to find A woman you want to Love and spend the rest of your life with you have to ask yourself what kind of woman do I want to be with.? Do I want a woman with class and integrity someone who I can respect? Or do I want someone that doesn’t have boundaries of what she will do before marriage ? Mutual trust and respect is necessary for a loving relationship, right? Of all your video I have seen this one had the deepest meaning for me. It’s a lesson every man wanting a loving woman for life should hear. There are too few gentlemen anymore in our western society. When I have pulled out a chair, opened a door, or offered my arm on the street for my girlfriend I actually had male friends laugh. Maybe it’s making them feel Uncomfortable, because they don’t ever do gestures like that. . I was taught at a young age to respect women and be a gentleman. I think women appreciate someone who respects and truly cares about them. So your message of where and when it’s appropriate to touch a woman and have her like and even love it, is something many men need to hear. Although I’ve known some of these things that you’re teaching, it’s great to be reminded. For that reason, and to learn more from a knowledgeable woman, I’ll be checking out your classes soon. Please do keep publishing videos on this subject, it’s something we men need to hear.

Yes! I've kind of noticed from personal experience what you've said in this video, although, I've held hands and put my arm around a couple of the ladies that I've dated fairly early in the relationship and there were never any repercussions from it. I never felt they were creeped out by it. Of course those ladies were friends or were introduced to me by other friends and we did get to know each other before we dated. I will vouch for the hugs though. I've always been a hugger and I've been told I give good hugs. Thanks for the videos that you do. Omg I love your channel. So much good advice. I’m looking for a classy non toxic woman. All the other dating coaches just give you advice on picking up women who are toxic. Yes that advice works ok but those aren’t good women. I’m very surprised to learn from this video I’ve already I instinctively been doing all that 👍 Back touching, arms, neck, etc. and I’m a huge hugger. And I throw in a few forehead kisses too. Blessed! With all due respect, I personally believe that hugging, locking elbows, and hugs are the only appropriate forms of physical touch before marriage. Most of the ones you mentioned, both phases, sound way too creepy for me. We would also need a DTR talk and discuss what kinds of touch we will do and avoid.
