Great job, love the detail. I was looking for a more detailed review and this hit all the points!

Great video! Very honest and straightforward! I just bought one because I am handicapped and have to carry as little weight as possible and my normal plate carrier is too heavy. I also bought the UHMW lightweight level 3+ plates.Thank you bro!

This is a great review. I appreciate how directly you got into the utility for your application. I'm looking at this for a low-profile option to complement an H-harness LBE setup by bearing side plates and maybe one or two small things not on the harness belt. Could you share your plate and carrier size and the chest width you used? Just trying to get an idea of how much it will interfere with shouldering when using a 10x12 shooter's cut from Highcom. It looks like it sits nice and tight with your ESAPI's and the straps aren't too big. Also, what puts the JPC over this one? Thank you.

Hey good question. So I personally prefer the JPC due to the MOLLE everywhere. Sure, the Ferro has a separate MOLLE front panel and cummerbund that can be bought, but I want to have a “heavy” plate carrier, meant for carrying pouches and for duty/utility use, and a “light” plate carrier; something that is low profile and minimalist. I’ve been working with the JPC more which is why I prefer it. As for plates, the Esapis don’t interfere much with shouldering a rifle, so it makes it perfect for shooting and for coverage, but like I say, use whatever you feel like (plates, setups, etc) you need it for. Best wishes :)

Hi there, can the back bag of the Slickster take a full cut plate, i.e. the rectangular shaped plate? Thank you.

Hi, it probably won’t because the bags are primarily shaped for curved plates unfortunately

Slickster to me isn’t meant to scale up. I like to wear mine in concealment or with a chest rig over it.
