I'm great at painting animals but decided to venture out into making animals with landscapes in the background. One of them I wanted a large moon in the background and no matter how many tutorials I watched, they just kept skipping over steps/you had to watch 15 other videos to know what technique they were using. Beautiful. I am giving it to my Dad for his birthday. I coated it with clear glue and added some meteors & dots of paint(using a toothbrush). Still Amazing Channel! so glad I found this.

You are my inspiration!! I had an art acrylic painting competition 5 days ago, and I watched your video few hours before the competition started. I also added the ocean view with the night sky and moon. I got first prize!!! I got a set of acrylic paint with smooth brushes and a slicer thing object which I still don't what is the name of it 😅😅, but i do know how to use it. Outstanding, really easy to follow. Thank you very much. I'm used to painting with watercolours and find them really easy to use. I started a painting yesterday with acrylics and I have never felt so defeated in my life. I'm using watercolours brushes which probably doesn't help either. Once again thank a million.

I have a canvas and i still dont know what to paint in it its a medium and if i mess up it would be a mess so i think im gonna paint a moon with more details in it this tutorial helps me thank you

Why my acrylic paint always not paint like yours
It streaky and doesn’t soak in as much as yours it’s like it just sits on top of the canvas and I’m sweeping it around :/
Édit: did you have to paint multiple layers for white?
My white is streaking all over the place.

Hi this is amazing, keep up the good work! Did u let your painting dry before adding the details? Also did u use a wet brush or dry brush to add the details?
There are a few techniques I'm using. I mix wet paint on brush in with the wet paint on the moon. Or if underlayer is dry on the moon I will use a technique called scumbling which is adding very little paint to the surface with a dry brush. This allows for more coverage than glazing which is adding water to that dry brush and building transparent layers. I use all of these depending on the look I want. I demonstrate all of these techniques in my lessons at patreon.com/createfulart
Can we using poster colors instead on paper
?
Yes, but the look will be a bit different. Expect to add water to the paint for the less black areas. It may get a bit grainy.
Can you please paint a Doberman. (Type of dog ) I have an order to paint but, I don't know how to paint a Doberman. It would be amazing of you could. By the way very nice painting!

WHY IS WHEN I AM PAINTING THE WHITE IT TURNS GRAY BECAUSE OF THE BLACK, BUT WHEN YOU PAINTED IT IT WAS VERY WHITE
Let your underneath color dry more so the black and white don't blend.
