Yikes! Too tight! The rear is fully extended. When you compress the rear, it’s going to be like a guitar string. I like to compress the rear so the output sprocket, swingarm pivot and axle are all aligned; this is the tightest point in the wheel travel. I set my tension in this location. Looked more correct before you tightened it. Good luck!
No need to take the axle bolt all the way off. Just loose.
matt summers agreed,
thx for the info hope it helps the viewers
Dude you never heard the saying righty tighty lefty loosy.lol

You want 4 fingers from the swing arm where the rim starts.
Would you say its at a good tightness right now? It was pretty lose but it wasnt tight
MotoLogic yea it was close. 4 fingers is just a good way to make sure it's right and easier. I've had a chain go through my crank case
nick dailey Oh dang that sucks. What did you have to do to fix that?
MotoLogic it was my pit bike so I just jb welded it and never had a problem with it since
nick dailey Haha! Thats awesome ;)
Is that a 150r?
It's a cr125r
Don't you need a torque wrench for tightening the axle nut?
Shaggy Mason I never used one, don’t see why you couldn’t
I never used torque wrenches as a kid, I use them now but it never seems tight enough
