Thanks for zooming in. I see most experts not doing it and it sucks for beginners like me. I was like wtf is a tick but when u zoomed in I noticed what you were talking about. Thanks
Honestly am just about to do my first chain adjustment and you certainly didn’t fill me with anysense that you had any more experience than I would infact after 10turns I saw you panick thinking it’s not working crap 😂 I ain’t hating I ain’t but you did make me laugh as I imaged myself 😂😂😂
i just bought the same bike yesterday it looks mint until i took it apart every god dam bolt was lose even the spokes on both rims and they were brand new moose racing i mean people say check the bolts but dam lol
Great vid!! Got a newb question though. I just got a 20 kx450f, only rode around the block a few times, the chain is Clackin sounds loose...I put it on the stand, the 3 finger check is good almost a tight 3 fingers. Been years since messing with dirt bikes. I'm stumped do they always Clacl a Lack like this?
It’s hard for me to tell without listening to it if something is off. So I would compare to a buddies or someone at the track. However, yes they definitely do clack. And since you said you road around the block, another thing I have noticed is I hear the clacking more when I ride on the street with a dirt bike
I have a 18 450f & I’ve been having that same clacking noise I was thinking something could be wrong but the bike has been riding fine. Thanks for clarifying that they do clack & it’s pretty normal
This guy has to be a newbie himself. In a comment below he reply to someone saying your chain doesnt tighten when you sit on the bike. That's false it sure does tighten when you sit on it. How does it tighten when putting it in gear. Lol he started off horrible tightening the rear axle nut and you definitely didnt cut any links off your chain. There a certain number of chain links you need to have that go with your front and rear sprockets teeth count. He has his axle alignment bolts all the way backed put like a goon. This video is very miss leading from the start I would not take after this video one bit download a manual online if you dont have one and do it the right way
Dude! You need to take this vid down. That chain is way to long. You need to lose a link at least. Your adjustment is already maxed out on a new chain. It is gonna stretch over time.

Thanks saved me in a pinch
When you get the chain 3 finger tight where you want it and when you sit on it and chain is really tight, is that normal or no??? Thanks!
Well it should only get tighter whenever you put it in gear and that is normal. Should not get tighter just by sitting on it
No that it normal, it does get tighter. If it doesn't, your rear suspension is really stiff
