Hi Dakon, is there like a chunk/spawn cell map? Would help alot, considering the core is always 0,0 wouldnt there be a picture of a general grid ? I cant find anything ay but off your mob farm video i gathered the grid starts at the centre of the core ? I cant remember which vid i seen that said this, is true ? Cheers bro
ya I have a video dedicated to explaining all the details on mob spawning including how the grids work, how to see the grid and how to get grid info even if you can't pull up the map files and load them into the map tool. Its the spawn cell efficiency video. should be the first one in my mob farm playlist.
I have tried to create this mushroom farm. In my case, however, the mushrooms grow normally on the spikes without being broken off/harvested/detached. Is this a bug that only occurs with me or was there a recent patch that changed the behavior accordingly? i tried it with wood traps on fungal soil and with the metal traps. The Mushrooms just grow on the traps normal, so the robot arm can never harvest the mushrooms. I Play on Nintendo Switch with Core Keeper Version 1.0.1.5
Ive been loving the small farms recently since every big update you have to build farms in the new world so a small farm like this is helpful. Wonder if youre interested in making aesthetic base builds that we can copy , i like some of your bases but you sometimes just go past it so its hard to copy. #MAD4CK #PC
ya I would like to do some base building stuff in the future. There's a smaller core keeper youtuber named Mistry who has some good base build tips as well.
I like so much your videos, played the game for 35/40h. Are you good with building? (Like base visual building, not build for farm, grinding, etc. I'm looking for some pretty base ideas) #MAD4CK #PC
I dont consider myself very good but some people think I'm decent. I have a base showcase that is from early access but still can give you an example of what I do. I would like to make some build videos but Im a little torn on how to format/display the info to you guys. So any suggestions are more than welcome.
I have newer mob farming videos that I feel do a better job explaining how to build mob farms. The reason I havent gotten rid of the level 3 one yet is because I dont have a high end farm example video yet that is newer but once I do that video will go private also. I dont want to confuse people with outdated info on the mob farms.
@@DakonsMadhouseare you gonna do videos for farms with the starter tiles all in one farm or like the stone moss farm again? cuz for me and many others they really helps and I couldn’t finde anything simular
these spawn cells(spots/corners), are they different based on the map(seed) or are they always the same spots no matter the map? if they are always the same spots then it would be easy for people to find them due to the coordinate system right? all we would need is a list of said coordinates then atleast consoles who dont have access to the pc tools could make all these farms in proper spots. wonder if anyone is making a list.....
I have a formula that can help too for people willing to do some math to find the lower left corner coords for a spawn cell. Its in the spawn cell tutorial video. Though a list would definitely help people not mathematically inclined.
So im trying to build this on xbox, the mushrooms are spawning, but the wood traps are not triggering to break them. i just put them on top of the fungal soil, right? #MAD4CK #XBOX
thats because you made it larger. I made it as big as you can without spawning mobs. Any bigger and it reaches the minimum threshold for mob spawning. If you're going to go with a bigger farm, add walls and turn the spike traps into tin ones so they can deal with the brutes.
the only reason i can think of is automated for cattle. otherwise theres no purpose. but also a general mob farm can produce mushrooms too (but maybe slower?)
Like someone said for cattle so you don't need to worry about those two being empty but you could in theory make it go to a cooking pot and take it out yourself to get cooking exp so when your out and adventuring you can get some exp and food to just spam
Thanks for all the great Core Keeper videos. Always insightful and fun to watch. #MAD4CK #PC
I have been HOPING for a video like this. My mushroom farm gets broken over and over bc of the big bruiser shrooms.
#MAD4CK #PC
it didnt work for me, kept spawning brutes

Helpful video, thank you. :)
I've been looking for an automated food farm! Thanks so much. #MAD4CK #PC
I'm loving your videos. I've learned a lot of info from them and awesome ideas. #MAD4CK #PC

sounds like a bug as thats not happening in my games.
This is great

Great mushroom farm you made #MAD4CK #PC
Why did you delete the farm videos from like a year ago besides the level 3 one or am I just blind? I just asking cuz they really helped me

@@meju5013 well I already did in my new tutorial videos, but yes I do plan to have more sample farms videos people can just copy.

they are the same in every world, so in theory a list could be compiled of every spawn cell by listing specific coords.

I hate those mushroom brutes.
i love them, they make really good ranged leveling farms

Why do we need a mushroom farm?
personally I don't think you do. But if you want one, here's a fully automatic one.
