I saw the film at AFI Fest back in October. I met Nick Park, I saw the models in real life, and saw the movie. One of my favorite highlights this year.
38:01-38:11, Just goes to show you that despite the fact that Wallace loves inventing and that it gets him into trouble, it’s very clear that he does genuinely LOVE Gromit and Ben Whitehead’s reading on that line is so genuine and so heartfelt. 🥹🥹
Yeah, it nearly made me tear up. Not only cause of the reading, but this is the first time we've heard Wallace say how much Gromit means to him. He appreciates him, yes, but he's usually taken for granted or is just another cog within one of Wallace's inventions
Can someone please explain to me what was so funny about the Anton Deck joke? Not because I’m offended or anything but it’s really because I legitimately don’t get it.
I 100% agree with you when you say that anything that has no eyes or black eyes is freaky. Trust me, even I find it scary and freaky looking. I swear you can put those Gnomes with the thick black eyes into ANY horror movie now these days and it’ll STILL be scary as hell! Those Gnomes with the the big black eyes are pretty f***ing terrifying! 😱😱
This was my most hyped film of the year. A new Wallace and Gromit is something we haven’t had since I was very young, so I had higher expectations than usual when it comes to films. It more or less delivered, but I’m mixed on what I think of the changing details of the blue diamond. It was nice to see Peter Kay back as PC Macintosh, and I really hope they didn’t bring him back just to retire him. What confused me most of all was the fact Feathers got away at the end. I hope that they plan to bring him back in a future film.
Finally watched the French dub on Netflix so here are the French jokes on both anchorman and journalist. - Anton Deck (Ant & Dec) is called Laurent Delamousse (Laurent Delahousse) whose an anchorman on France 2 and « de la mousse » 🫧 means « of foam » 😂 - Onya Doorstep (On your doorstep) is called Aline Terview (à l’interview) for example Aller à l’interview = Going to the interview 🤣
Just watched Turner and hooch and boy it was very sad loseing a dog is heartbreaking and when wallace yelled: GROMIT!!! Nooooo!!!! Was hard to watch :(
Something tells me he will come back. There’s no way Aardman would bring back their greatest villain only to let him escape after a fairly small scale climax.
It's sad that this could be Aardman's last film because the company that made the clay they would use has shut down. Aardman purchased the entire stock, which was enough to make Vengence Most Fowl. If this is their last production, then what a way to end it!
It isn't their last!!! They found another supplier so they're all good!! Idk where this rumours come from that they've "ran out" 😭 They were GOING TO, but luckily they've found someone else. Plus they're using other stuff like resin and silicone, so they don't use so much of it, meaning they won't run out
@yourcrazyfnafgirl Eh it came from the original news of their suppliers shutting down and people assuming it. The news of them finding alternative means isn’t as big as their main suppliers shutting down so people can still be a little nervous about it
At 11:53-11:56, am I the only one who finds it utterly disturbing with the way Norbot makes those weird faces and makes those creepy sounds while recharging?? Maybe I just find this scene kind of dirty and uncomfortable but this is a kids film, right?. But that’s just me. 😳😳
Too many film references to mention, James Bond, Die Hard, the Italian Job, The Ladykillers and... blink and you'll miss it, 'Gardens of the Galaxy' at 19.04
@@helenw8520 Cape Fear too, there's also a reference to A Close Shave, which was excellent, Gromit in bed, reading a book, Norbot enters, and the book title is 'A Room Of One's Own' by Virginia Woof! 😂

Gromit’s little hug to Norbot is sooo sweet and adorable 😊😊
37:45, 38:41
You can REALLY feel the genuine fear and concern in Wallace’s voice when he cries out “Gromit!” It’s heart wrenching!
😥😥

*Anton Deck* for Ant & Dec I see what they did there and this is Britain *Puns* Got Talent. 😂
Telling Gromit Norbot is “Voice activated!” 🤦🏻♂️

39:33 oh no ive watched this too many times and ive just noticed that feathers is blocking the 'er' in butter pies... 🤣
Gotta give props to Wallace's new VA, he sounds just like Peter Sallis
Yeah, Ben Whitehead is amazing. Even me and my friends had an argument over who voices him😂

@@timhannah4 Except he does, makes a really good fist of it
Eh.... close, not exactly, but he does Peter justice I think

Wallace’s crazy laugh just cracks me up and it’s probably the BEST thing in the movie in my opinion 😅😅
The engine red line and about to blow, cut to canal barge going half a mile an hour almost killed me.

26:18, This whole section just made me think of ‘Batman Returns’.
I had the same thoughts as well, especially with the rubber duck! It is THE penguin after all... of the Wallace & Gromit universe that is 😆
