Thank you for saying this. I have lost almost 60 lbs on Zepbound 2.5 and lifestyle changes with zero side effects. Lilly needs to stop advising that 2.5 is only a one month dose because that is just not true for everyone.

Finally! Thank you so much for putting this out there!!! Bless you!!! I've been on the lowest dose of Ozempic for 14 weeks. Lost 20 lbs (3 1/2 months) slow but steady! I have to switch to Mounjaro but I will be microdosing at probably a 1/2 of the starting dose so a 1/4 dose.

How do you cut your dosage do you just use half the pen. Mine is 2.5 but I may have to switch zepbound gave me a rash or hives.

There are TH-cam videos that can show you what to do but yes on the Ozempic pen say you had 5 pen but you only wanted to take 2.5. I think it is 18 clicks a full dose is 32 clicks but like I said there are TH-cam videos I’m not a doctor so not giving any medical advice. Good luck!

Amen! I couldn’t eat anything when I am on 5mg. So I have stopped and am investigating microdosing. I lost 30 lbs in a month and a half, which is way too much too fast.

💯 agree!!!! That’s what led me to stop because I was just getting so sick and I couldn’t get past 1.0 mg. I have a lot left so I am starting with Microdosing.

I agree, I literally started with TWO units on an insulin syringe and lost weight & felt a difference! It was literally .33 mg, I can't even imagine starting at 2.5 mg with Tirzep! There's no reason for it, especially if you're doing "all the things" in conjunction with these meds.

Very cool! I’m just starting up on tirz at only 0.5mg weekly. Started Tuesday and am experiencing positive effects already!

Thank you so very much for this. I’m an older F who has maybe 20 pounds to lose. I want to micro dose. I think I will go to a nearby clinic, not mail delivery. The NP mentioned micro dosing me. I have tried to research this. I was hoping it would minimize side effects. I’m getting the courage to start next week. I will of course discuss any questions with my NP.

What amount are you referencing as 'microdose' as compared to the lowest unit commercially available of 2.5? Thanks

I am an RMA at a family DO's office, and I work with patients using these meds every day. I totally agree with your summation and advice because side effects are a bad reality with these medications. My question is, how are you obtaining the drugs in a form to provide microdosing? You say it right in the video that they are not manufactured in a way to do this. Are you breaking syringes? That would compromise the integrity and safety of the drug. I am currently in school to become a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist, so I too, can help people learn a better way to take charge of their health. It has become a passion since I have been in western medicine for the last five years and see medications being handed out like candy with no guidance on how to improve their health and possibly (probably in many cases) reduce or eliminate the need for them.

She gets them from a compound agency. It comes in a vial so you can use how much you want.

I’m doing 1/2 of lowest dose of semiglutide and no side effects. I feel a lot better except near injection day - makes me tired for a day or two, but then I bounce back.

How about taking it for 4 weeks then skipping a week before starting another 4 weeks dose?

    • @balzoemg8415
      @balzoemg8415 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

I don’t see why not, but the reason people move up in dose is because they’re not feeling the effects. If that the case why would you skip a week.

So, do you believe that being on these medications will help the metobolic problem that goes with hypothyroidism? Even after losing weight, can you use these medications as maintenance for weight gain?

Have been on compounded semaglutide for 6 weeks ~
Started at .24 mg and worked up to .65
Anything higher makes me extremely fatigued~
Been following instructions to the letter.
Lost only five pounds of the wonderful menopausal 20.
    Getting frustrated.
    Suggestions?
    Thank you ~

You can dose brands into vials... Then dose on your own

I disagree, I had been on Mounjaro 2.5 mg 1.5 months and now Mounjaro 5 mg for almost 3 months. Im ready for an increase in meds, I have almost 80lbs more to lose, I've lost 40 lbs. I'm hungry alot more and yes I eat a decent amount of protein and hydrate. I'm hoping to increase to 7.5 this week.

Everyone is different...2.5 for 15 weeks 34lbs down..I skip doses as well..
What's going to happen when you get to the highest dose? If you started on 2.5..perhaps if you had the vials..you could have did 3mg instead of going to 5..the problem is we all went off the trial...after watching countless vids of others..and the crazy side effects of 5..I went back to 2.5. I would rather try 3 if 2.5 stops working then doubling the dose..you won't know if you don't try

Can you microdose it if you have had hypoglycemia in the past or should it be avoided?
