Andy, thanks for your videos introducing us to Raw Therapee. I've been using it now for two weeks and it really is a valid alternative to PS. I spent much of the holidays watching your videos and learning the program. I would like to wish you a happy new year and many new subscribers.
Interesting technique Andy. I still use your "process swap" method on import on all my RAW files into Lightroom. I've found that extremely useful in giving me the best post editing starting point 👍
Hello Andy, Thank you for such an informative video. I am new to the wonders of Raw therapee and really enjoy watching your tutorial videos on it. I have version 5.8 installed and was wondering what I should choose for my output profile under colors tab. I do not see the Prophoto or Melissa option under the drop-down menu
Go here sites.google.com/site/chromasoft/icmprofiles and download the ICCProfiles.zip folder. Unpack the contents and copy to the folder contents to your System>Profiles folder. Open Raw Therapee preferences and go to the colour management tab; top of the panel you see 'Directory containing colour profiles' - select the folder you just dropped the icc files into, click OK and close Raw Therapee. Then restart it and you will see ProPhoto in the list.
Hi, thanks for your videos. I know this is an older video but I can't find "chromatic aberration", maybe its because I'm using a newer version (5.8). Is it possible?
@@AndyAstbury Hi, I also can't find it in the latest version. Has it been taken out or moved somewhere else? I've looked at every option under "demosaic" and Google wasn't much help with this. Thanks for any help you can provide!
Thanks again. Best RawTherapee videos out there.
Thanks a lot Jose - more to come 👍
Grazie Andy per i tuoi video su Raw Therapy sono stati illuminanti!

It’s in the same place in 5.8, under the demosaic tab

My problem is i can't find a way to work and create HDR in Raw Therapee
You cannot merge files in RT so you can not merge exposure brackets - you do that in Photoshop.
