- This is my EDC (every day carry) kit. It contains items that could come in handy in a variety of non to mild emergency situations. Some stuff for fixing, first aid, fetching. All sorts. And a few morale boosters too.
Most ideas have come from trawling the Internet for inspiration but there's a few touches of my own too.
It was great fun research and assemble, I'd thoroughly recommend making yourself one.

I've seen hundreds of edc video. Your kit shows ingenuity and creativity not seen before. Especially impressed with the Archimedes drill & the wire covered with hollowed out parachord. Brilliant mate!

I have a mini deck of cards and super tiny dice that fit into a thimble, tiny pencil, and tiny paper for yahtzee, and small art set in mine for recreation as well!

This is one of the best, is not THE best Maxpedition pouch video I've seen. I am so glad I clicked this. You've got items no one else has, and that's exactly what I'm looking for in these videos. Thank you so much, I hope your channel grows to the level it deserves.
Hats off to you, that's hands down the most practical EDC I've seen on TH-cam. So many of the videos I've watched involve people carrying around all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff that I'd see as pointless.

Jenzo - All in all not a bad kit. Considering that compasses work on magnetism I would recommend replacing the steel ring with cord or a zip tie and only use it way from all the other metal. I like the drill, very nice. I would recommend you treat the exposed wood of your Opinel knife with some sort oil so that the surface is restored. You seem to have a excessive amount of blades, but if they make you happy who am I to judge. Having a mini torch buried in the depths of that pouch doesn't seem very practical. If you need it in a hurry, you might wish it was clipped to a carabiner on the outside. The hook seems very special purpose for EDC, I suppose if it saves the day it's worth it. I would simply depend on the welding rod as a emergency hook.
Lots of good ideas, especially like when people use everyday items, versus only specific (and expensive) one. Well done!
Finally someone who has cards in his edc. I was thinking, that i am the only one who packs cards.

Dude the retrieval tool is genius. I've never seen anyone who had that in a kit.
I like the deck of cards and dice. I've never seen that before, but I like to carry a deck of cards with me to kill time, like waiting for our meals at a restaurant. Great kit.

Outstanding! This is the best EDC kit I've seen! I really like the wide range of capabilities you put into the kit! The mini Archimedes Drill is a new item I've seen, and I'm impressed by how you organized everything! I'd add a small Pepper Spray & a packet of hot chocolate.
Pepper spray is illegal here lol
We're *allowed* chocolate though. So that's good 😅

i love the idea of the small deck of cards and dice.
Thats a great idea. I want to carry cards now! I have mini checkers and a game board printed on thick paper and folded. But cards and dice you can do much more with.

Nice EDC, good job! Liked the cards, good idea. Be careful with the locking blades in the UK you need a 'valid' reason to be carrying them.

I think there will not be a better and complete edc, for the different needs of each person, but this compact edc is very well equipped, I would add a mini saw and a superglue. very good video JH ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

This is hands down the best edc I’ve ever seen !!!!! May I ask which Maxpedition pouch it is ?
I'll not rest til I bankrupt myself buying EDC gear 😁 I reckon you could squeeze a Vicorinox Pioneer X in there if you're getting the urge for more stuff. Also, Orajel takes up no room and can prevent toothache-induced misery setting in.
Btw where can i find that compact grappling hook?

The lighters by a company called Tru Utility and the drills called an Archimedes drill, you'll be able to find them both on eBay :)

A CAT 7 tourniquet. Should be on the outside like your flashlight.

You'll be glad you made one Tom, I literally use this every day. You can customise it to whatever you're likely to use.
Where did you get the bag and tools etc from?
the bag is a Maxpedition E.D.C. Pocket Organiser. I got mine @ adventurestars.co.uk.
The stuff I assembled from all sorts of places. Ebay for a lot of it. preppershop.co.uk had a bunch of stuff too.
Which Maxpedition pouch is this? A list of items in the description would be really nice.

Where did you get the patch for the front ?
what about a small map of the area you at most in that front pocket in a Ziploc bag? just fold it to fit.

Can you recommend your hand drill? Amazon search results are bad quality rated.
For me, I would also put a $20-40 bill, maybe tucked in a crevice or pocket. Just so that in case you don't have enough cash or you forget/lose your wallet, you aren't stranded (I don't carry an EDC - yet - so I put a bill under the sole of my shoe. Yes, that seems gross, but it is better than nothing.

I just don't understand how all this stuff needs to be carried every day. Where do you all go to need all this stuff? Multiple ways to start a fire surely unless you smoke or are camping you don't need a lighter. Carrying a johnny for water? Just buy a bottle of water from a shop
