    Great video, I think you should do a kick starter for the perfect power supply. Thanks for all the great content.

      Haha, yeah, I’d have to do some figuring for that. I’ve thought about doing a designing a power adapter series with an end goal of product.

    LOL I've been using that 45W brick to charge my Tab S8 and iPad Mini 25/20 split I guess, it is weird though, sometimes I have to plug/unplug the C cable to the device to get them to charge, if I unplug one, it does reset the charge to the other (for instance the S8 goes from fast charge to "super" fast charge 2.0 if charging alone) - I can follow your explanations and if I were vested in understanding the science and facts around watts currents and the rest of that science stuff it would be a great source of reference. The tone is assertive yet calm, the facts are straight to the point and in your face, love it.
    Now to Amazon Prime the Baseus 100W bank. I recently bought the AOHI 120W brick, a mini AC cord, and their AOHI power Cube 26,800mAh AC outlet thingy - cool devices - just not as portable as I wanted, and I can't seem to find a larger yet compact bag that I like. Argh. Decisions lol.

    I really enjoy these videos, I wish you also disassembled the products to review the internal design and the overall component quality. Similar to what chargerlab channel is currently doing.

    • @AllThingsOnePlace
      @AllThingsOnePlace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah, I do a few teardowns here and there. Chargerlab does such a good job with them but everyone has a little different insight. I tend to focus more on operation and power supply design and less on the actual components.

      @@AllThingsOnePlace chargerlab is great but they don't do many reviews. Just found your channel and it is great. Y'all complement each other really well.

    I wonder why they made it two separate models, from my perspective i think a 45w and a 65w is just playing around the same ballpark.

    • @AllThingsOnePlace
      @AllThingsOnePlace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah. I agree. Make one of the products better. Save some tooling.

    Yikes at that price range there are some adapters that have active pfc. Removing pfc in 2022 is just yikes.

    • @AllThingsOnePlace
      @AllThingsOnePlace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      They didn’t remove it, it doesn’t get designed in for anything under 100 watts. There was a time when they required it at 100+ watts but those days are gone.

      @AllThingsOnePlace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am daily driving the 100W Baseus wall charger. th-cam.com/video/eZjLvHkiCh8/w-d-xo.html
      I use the Anker 736 and the Baseus 100W desktop chargers too since I have heaps of power banks getting charged/discharged for future videos. So, these are both seeing pretty heavy use also. Anker 736 only when 20V is needed.

      I like the 100+W having good metrics like Baseus. I’d love to see this on a smaller charger, as mobility matters as well. Is there any hint how metrics change on 230V /50Hz grids we have in Europe?

    I recently bought the Tecknet GaN model TK PC006. It seems to do a better job at charging my Samsung S22 Ultra at keeping it much cooler than my oem samsung 45 watt charger. Is there a possibility that you might test the PC006? Thank you.
