    Hi Phil, I'm a teen looking to start some pressure washing in my local area, what are some tips you could recommend such as how you price, equipment a teenager would need and afford etc.
    Thanks

      A professional cleaning setup costs a lot of money. Combined with a suitable vehicle and insurance etc your looking several thousand to get going. Customers want a professional clean with results they can't get themselves hence the need for good quality kit. The nozzle in this video costs £1700 alone, plus £3500 for the jet wash itself.

    I love the falch turbo nozzle I think if I have too come back too the uk I’ll treat myself to one don’t know if they send it out to Australian just wonder bit of engineering

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a lovely tool but maintainance is very expensive. A service kit is £273 plus another £186 if you need new nozzle jets. I don't think they send outside of the UK and EU.

      @@DirtyDriveAway that’s few driveways but I’m sure it pays for it self it’s probably be be used over here as the taps have more lpm on average and a lot of big jetters here Honda gx690 and 630 and Briggs and strattons like yours

    Your equipment's water pump pressure relief valve recirculates the water in the pump or sends it to te water tank.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you mean the unloader valve its a flow sensitive return to tank bypass.

    • @pitu66bat59
      @pitu66bat59 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DirtyDriveAway yes that if you machine the relief valve sends to the tamk in my machine recirculates to the pump entrance causing heating .

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pitu66bat59 yes return to tank is better as you can let the machine idle for as long as you like. On a circulating unloader the water gets hot and can damage the pump if left idling for more than a few mins.

    What lpm machine would be recommended to run one of these nozzles please ?

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Falch will jet for 200bar at 16lpm however this is a 500bar nozzle. It runs OK on my 250bar at 23lpm but I think anything less than 250bar at 21lpm and your wasting your money. Service kits on these are also wicked money at £270 a time plus £190 for new nozzle jets.

    • @DirtyDriveAway

      No, too expensive to setup and run. Also not enough room on the van for a boiler.

      @@DirtyDriveAway to expensive ? them mazzoni firebox boilers from Rutland pumps are 1500-2500k everyone’s using them not that much more than a point speed 5 tbh plenty of room for a boiler in a vivaro compared to a connect

    • @DirtyDriveAway

      @@Rivaboyz1987 just more running costs. Why use something that's not always needed. I've been doing this job for years and never needed the use of steam. Each to there own, the running costs of a boiler need to be passed onto the customer.

      Falch are funny on who they sell too but they can't jet it for less than 200bar at 16lpm but to be honest less than 250 bar at 21lpm and its not really worth buying.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@londonpressurewashexternal3955 the falch is quick and clears as you clean. An fsc struggles with heavy moss and weeds whereas the falch will cut though most stuff. Its probably on par speed wise with an fsc.
