I played this deck a few times and then upgraded it, and I can safely say this is one of my favorite new decks (specifically with Magus Lucea Kane at the helm). With her costing 4 mana and tapping for 2, she gets you to 7 mana the next turn (if you hit your land drop), which is perfect for casting most of the Ravenous creatures with X=5; this not only gets you two beefy dudes (usually with extra effects), but it will also draw you TWO cards, as Ravenous triggers when they ETB. There are also no limitations to what you can spend the 2 colorless mana she produces on, so you can always tap her like a Sol Ring to cast something else. She also doubles spells and abilities, so Crackle with Power or Kessig Wolf Run can do very nasty things with her. It's pretty common for her to be slamming down 2 giant creatures every turn while still having 7 cards in hand. Another fun way to use/abuse her is with an untap effect; if you have her out and some way to untap her over and over (like Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal), it will keep stacking the "copy the next X spell/ability" effect. So you can loop her a million times and then cast something like Walking Ballista to have a million copies hit the stack all at once. Personally I just run a Kiora's Follower and Thousand-Year Elixir in the deck, but even those + Unbound Flourishing can make things get out of hand really fast. And if you really really want to bump her up in power, there's half a dozen ways to win off of a Whir of Invention or Chord of Calling thanks to her doubling the spell. Overall she's an extremely fun commander that can be tuned to whatever power level you want.
My friend's deck paired her with hydras alongside the Tyranids, since they have a lot of X cost creatures. Also added Freed from the Real for that untap then re-tap. She has quickly become a powerful deck, so far only my personal Jodah deck can keep up with it. Magus is strong.
Played a couple of games where everybody was using one of the 40k decks. The chaos deck seemed the best (Belakor as a flying commander hurts). This deck was decent but if a board wipe happened then it was almost impossible to recover from.
Is there a way to open these boxes without ruining the packaging? It seems like Wizards have put on some kind of a challenge to make the most uncomfortable, awkward way to open Magic sealed products recently. First the stupid tear side to open for bundles which replaced the cool overlap with a wrapping you need to destroy to open the contents. Now I've noticed that it's the same for prerelease kits, where there's another box inside the tear side to open box and some inside wraparounds. But there's no tear bottom to open the Warhammer 40k Commander packs. The Commander precon boxes are literally the only sealed product where the tear to opens actually worked somehow since there was no need to tear the glued part open and damage the box in a nasty way. But this one doesn't have a tear bottom to open. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

Magus is my main commander here and if someone doesnt kill it can fill your side with big trucks really quick

Magus is a kill on sight commander
I need to get these
Very cool cards. I like these decks a lot. Just wish they weren't so pricy
'This could be useful'...tosses it aside. lmao
Useful for adding to the pile of stuff I think I could possibly have a use for at some point, but never will unless I throw it out.
