I have a question: Why taking the "50%heat+30% damage" Peak the plasma gun usually take 2 charge shot to reach 50% heat, the 3rd charge shot will overheat the weapon and reset. Which mean, the peak will only activate if you fire 3 charge shot in a row. 1 + 1 + 1.3 = 3.3 But taking the 1st 10% damage peak give you buff every charge. 1.1 + 1.1 + 1.1 = 3.3 I mean, the overheat peak will only work better if you manage to fire most shot at above 50% heat without overheating the weapon Otherwise, I think the 10% damage will be easier to use and more consistent.
With the “charge shot less heat”, the fire rate can get off 4 shots before overheat. So the 2 last shot would do it. Yup, the “50% heat +30% damage” is useful for the ammo version, or better yet, the vent version (now can unleash 6 charge shot). Otherwise, the 10% damage up time is still better.
@@BasTheChampnot even mentioning tactical. 16+ damage with auspex on parry, and STACKING PARRY DAMAGE. I’ve never so consistently 2-3 shot a majoris before
@@TooTrue22-24 Mine is a vanguard with 50% more parry window which makes blocking almost perfect all the time, combo the 3 block aoe stagger with melta rifle extra ammo and 14 dmg (with auspex scan by a tactical) a hive tyrant goes down in one mag second phase
With 3 stacks any major will be dead by the end of the combo is insane too, i overall play with block weapons, all block weapons are good except the power fist which is complete garbage

Well I perfer the Rate of fire version of the plasma gun, that's why for me the 3rd charge shot will usually overheat
