    This is great 👌🏾.
It's actually one of the reasons I decided to build my bookstore with a Dyslexia & Family literacy center in Atascocita, Texas. It targets those 63% of students who are reading below grade level. As an educator with 18 years experience teaching students from gifted and low socio-economic status, I have a passion for reading. I've been a Dyslexia Practitioner for years, and I know God gave me a gift to share with others. I aim to share that gift with others, while helping adults, children, and seniors at our new facility.

I was and have always been a great reader. I taught my foster bro how to read and write.
Tbh i dnt even know how it happened. I just loved to read everything to him!
And show him how to write.
He would get confused saying that the letters moved as he tried to read or write.
2 years later he was reading and writing full sentences!
    Tbh i was so proud!

I didn't realize until my adulthood I had this. I remember struggling with reading then we'll became a lover of books. These type of things matter so so much. There were other kids in my group that has different "issues" than me but all of us I can say eventually got to all be successful with reading and furthered on. One of the girls is a teacher now. I don't think that would have happened if we didn't have this little class.

Literacy Now is probably the most-needed outside of school program I have ever seen. may educators have told me that if you haven't gotten kids to READ BOOKS or if you haven't READ TO THEM REGULARLY, school becomes glorified day-care from then on. Don't let this be the American educational legacy, please.

This is an essential program especially for low-income families. Reading can take one around the world without leaving home. Just read.🌎

I am sending a contribution to Literacy Now based on this. And as an aside, Jacque has great legs. Just sayin' here.

Can’t help but wonder if Henry stepped up & gave them donation as well…he was literally jumping out of his seat. What I’m hoping is that he would help them go national with this program. Was it really a coincidence that he was on this segment of Kelly? Hummmm…who knows? Could have been providence.

i mean, wouldn't it be more helpful and beneficial if the donation was made to the Literacy Program so they can buy more books, hire more teachers and develop the program so that it benefits more kids in the long run? Just saying, i have nothing against the show, Kelly or April and her family
