Can someone help me answering my question.. Are they loud enough? I heard that in video they are pretty loud but a lot of people complaining that they are not loud enough and i just wonder if anyone can do any reference so i could understand please
Tbh u don’t want music too loud, last thing u wanna do is damage ur hearing. I’ve ordered some but from owning a couple Sony products I can imagine that they provide a loud enough sound to satisfy ur needs. Could always go and test them in a shop

Recently i bought XM3 and the sound at first seemed not loud enough cause i used to cancel outside noise with volume of my earpods but a little later my ears readjusted to volume after some time when i was listening to low volume with anc and now max volume feels kinda loud
Tbh I tried them on , they are not loud enough , I used to listen to really high volume , i wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality and now I decided to not get them . Plus if you are an IOS user , you won’t benefit of all the features .

I know they’re pretty expensive for headphones… I’m so glad I don’t regret it lol. 😅 Even though they’re amazing headphones, I didn’t want to end up buying expensive headphones that don’t look good on me so I tried them on in a store before buying them. I would recommend doing the same if you can! 🥰

I have a question for long-term users: do you have any problems with discoloration or staining? Especially in the earmuffs? I really want the silver one but am scared they'll look greasy and dirty much earlier than the black ones!
Having discoloration or staining isn't a problem if you can take care of them with extra caution and proper handling, i have a silver white xm4 and i always avoid the sweat
they're my babies! i sleep with them on and spend most of the day with them on too for over a year! you charge them for an hour and they last you 3 full days
I really want these headphones to just use them at home. But I can’t decide between 4 or 5… I tested them out at the store and the noice cancelling with 4 is sooooo good in comparison to 5 honestly but 5 is much more comfortable… It’s a hard decision to make :,)
I have the 4’s and really love them. I think they sound as good as 5’s, they fold, smaller case, way better looking design, more comfortable to use. 10/10 so far, had for about a week
I got the 5 and my sister got the 4 and you're right... The noise cancellation on the 4 is much better and I prefer the design of the 4 as well. The only thing that 5 is better than 4 is the sound quality but only just slightly better so yeah I would recommend you get the 4 haha it's much more worth it in my opinion

You're not going to have the best experience if you have an iPhone. Let me explain, this headphones have an codec called "LDAC", which means that the headphones adapt to play music in high quality (Hi-Fi) like, FLAC, WAV, etc. Some Android devices with snapdragon chip that allow that device to play this high quality music. Apple have their own high quality codecs: ALAC, but this codec doesn't get along with the LDAC that this headphones offer, so, Apple users have conform with AAC codec. Pd: I'm not a native english speaker so sorry if there are grammatical mistakes hehe.
Dunno why always assumed noise cancelling would block out 100% outside noise so was bit disappointed that I could still hear the bus bell ping or next stop information for example. Still keeping them as they're pretty good nonetheless
Sat on my 1000xm3s on way to San Francisco and I had 5 hours of no music no noise cancelling when we landed I thought you know what I got 400 bucks of personal money I’ll get a pair of xm4s they were selling them at airport for 278 but got it down to 219.99 and I’m so happy I bought them

@@leyumisdiary Yes, I did all that. However I just discovered that if you don't use Apple or Beat earphones, you have to go deeper in privacy setting and check allow for 3rd party headphone level to activate. Thank you for a prompt reply! 😇

I chose xm4 and I’m very happy, mostly bc they’re were slightly cheaper and I like the design better than the xm5. Ik that’s not the best reason but if I’m wearing them all day I want them to look aesthetic lol. Haven’t tested but ppl say xm5’s mic is quite a bit better so for me it was definitely a big consideration

Ok question… mine do NOT switch between my iPad and iPhone at all. The multipoint connection works fine between laptop and I-device(s)… but not between iPad and iPhone. If I stop audio on one and start audio on the other it plays but no audio comes out. Am I the only one with this issue???
@p ع hmm, sound is very subjective. However, for me, the sound profile is more to my liking. It's not a huge difference, but it is there. For example, bass is a bit clearer, and soundstage sounds a bit more open.

I have these and love them but even though I have a smart tv with Bluetooth, it doesn’t pair with them, which I’m so disappointed about because I luv next door to very noisy neighbours and wanted to be able to listen to my tv in peace 🤷♀️

They can play above 90db, people who are complaining about the lack of volume are permanently damaging their hearing.
If you have an iPhone, just stop mono audio and the volume would be higher.

yeah but these headphones connect to AAC as well so they're not gonna play on the the standard SBC

Settings > control center and then add “Hearing”. When you connect your headphone and play an audio, it should show the level 😊
