Bernard Cribbins was an absolute legend. And I am thankful we got such an awesome performance with him and the Doctor. What I’ve have given to see him as the Doctors companion for an entire season. So tired of the sex appeal hire always being the companion.
I agree, although Catherine Tate was not a sex appeal companion either, she was the doctor's equal in many ways. Which is probably partly why Donna was so popular.
Sadly, the great Bernard Cribbins who played Wilfred died last year just after he's work on these specials, so that's why his character hasn't appeared again. Bernard also appeared in the 1966 Dr Who big screen movie, Daleks - Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D, which starred Peter Cushing as the doctor. R.I.P Bernard you legend.
Nicely covered Sir, the BBC have found their groove with this woke garbage. They probably cry them selves to sleep knowing Uncle Jimmy is not atround to enjoy it too. God bless.
I can’t count how many things I’ve watched that portray England as highly diverse back in the Victorian era. It’s very distracting and off putting as it’s so forced and false. it looks odd and just feels so unauthentic.
Amen. & the saddest part is white people are native to Europe. This would be like a Mexican movie forcing a Neo-Nazi & a black thug to be friends with the Mestizo main character.
so just looking at the scenes you showed, even without the terrible context of the plot.... this was one of the most homosexual pieces of media ever put on normal tv i dont understand how these shit companies can act like this stuff is the new normal, its obviously over the top over sexualization, just not in the way it used to be having over sexed women and chad guys was frowned upon everwhere but certain rated r films, but this stuff is okay?

It’ll ultimately get cancelled. Hopefully there’ll still be some fans in a decade or so who’ll still remember the show fondly enough to recommend it to their children.
I'll be honest, as much as I enjoyed parts of the episode, I kept seeing comment after comment of how much charisma Gatwa had and how much he had stolen the show. But there's only so much devil's advocating you can do before at some point you just need to say "lmao what" The campiness and flirty attitude felt excessive as hell. Every Doctor in the modern series has some kind of "I'm the Doctor, even if I'm unarmed you're screwed" moment that made entire armies flee from plot convenience. I don't see Fifteen ever pulling something like that off. I see plenty of self-assurance and confidence, but zero substance to go with it.
3:32 He is not in the episode cause the actor who played him, Bernard Cribbins, past away during filming. if you bothered doing any research you would have known that
And Chibnall clearly had a crush on Whittaker, despite both of them being married. How else could an adequate supporting actress be elevated to play a British icon, when they admitted they knew nothing about the role?
@@friendlyotaku9525 Minimal effort was put into the casting process at that time. Stronger candidates were mentiontioned (e.g., Olivia Coleman), but their agents were never properly approached. Whittaker is a fantastic supporting actress (Journyman is as much her movie as Considine's), yet boasting in an interview that no research was put into a role is not an admirable trait in her chosen profession. Not all the fault lies with her. Creative direction was evidently in chaos, as it pandered to current trends & Chibnall just fell back on the resources he had.
Making the Doctor a woman didn't fix the show, and neither did making the Doctor black. I know what would fix this. Make the Doctor a black woman. It's the only way.
I never even thought about the romantic drama happening behind the scenes that probably caused the casting of the newest doctor. it makes sense, even though I wish i could forget it now... it's just so creepy...
The hardest part to get one’s head round is how all this is ruined intentionally, with full knowledge of what fan reaction will be and counting on that for the loosh harvest; the inclination is to rage but pointing and laughing is honestly the only way forward, until this madness ends.
Doctor Who was good consistently from 1963-1980. It was still good in patches from 1981-1989. Chibnall did not kill Doctor Who. NuWho was a load of garbage from the moment it was introduced in 2005. All the problems that people see now were there in 2005, it has just gotten more obvious as time has passed. When disingenuous people say "Doctor Who was always woke" they are half-right in a sense. The woke problems were there since 2005, but that is because it was run by the same people as now. People like RTD were just a little more restrained by the cultural zeitgeist of the time. We are now seeing who they always were when left to their own devices.
3:50 because the man was actually dying. Like he passed away a few months later. thats how poor his health was. we're lucky we even got that one scene. Rest his soul, Wilfred will always be remembered.

I can't for the life of me understand why companies continue to destroy their properties like games and shows just to get investors with their ESG points . Oh and to push the message. All this while knowing full well that the people who they pander to will never consume their product with the purpose of entertainment but only to be validated so that they don't off themselves. The vast majority of people who support the entertainment industry are conservative straight people and normal gay people, not people from the alphabet and BLM/minority cult.
To them, it's not about the money, it's about the message - "fighting the good fight" and feeling good about themselves. Even if the company goes under and all the lower level employees get axed, the heads will give themselves massive payouts and blame ists, phobes, ect for everything that went wrong to the next investor that's a sucker for identity politics.
There's a famous Tom from Finland drawing of two leatherboys touching tips that is clearly the direct inspiration for the Bi-generation. I imagine RTD was thrilled at the thought of "sneaking" that past the straights. Fail Russell - You're not the pioneer all your sycophants keep telling you you are.
@user-zt2bh2tu6y even though he has blatantly stated that he did it because he wanted to? In your scenario he's a liar, in ours he's incompetent. Don't get me wrong, the BBC loves this shit, but Davies is responsible for this.
I liked the comment regarding gatwa and RTD relationship. Innocent men get cancelled in Hwood over allegations of sexual harassment. This is on the nose, in the open, and corrupt jornos haven't said a thing about it. I do not doubt for a second about the price the young actor paid. And of course the show, it is horrendous. We could get some of those weird dance scenes and then genius stories, exciting adventures. Instead, we got third grade dancing, third grade writing, and a lot of lecturing. What have we have this season so far? The horrors of forbidding abortions, nasty white people, bitter absense of POC in that Ruby episode. this dr who season is a gift that keeps on giving.
Must admit this isnt bad, it absolutely bad, there no linkage between the episode or even buildup it is absolutely bad. In fact it so bad it inspired me to be my own writer, who knows i might be able to show what good storytelling is, however if i fail well at least i had fun.
@@punishedmatteson7108 thanks, i am working on it and even taking points on what not to do from personal expirence even thinking how it could have been done better, heck I even had an idea how the whole episode special could be fixed. One, remove the whole politics since they don't fit for the special, two focus more on the doctor mind, maybe they want to seek why they back. First episode would have Donna meet the toymaker, who bassicaly acts like the suspicious salesmen, who has the perfect toy for an good price. Second episode, have no big monster instead it the doctor and Donna exploring an alien ship where upon the main computer has gone haywire, this serves to add more charecter, improve the relationship with doctor and Donna, heck the reason the ship computer gone haywire was due to study of an anomaly (spoiler it where the toymaker enter) as the computer can't logically figure how such an entity could exist in the universe as it says "he said that I could see the logic if I won an game... I won ...but I am still in the dark, it so dark WHY IS IT SO DARK" And in the third, the toymaker actually appear in the tardis, we get an flash back to the inventor of tv, and I would have David kill off since it was toymaker actually interfere with the regeneration to bring David face back as he would say "I like that face an lot better" so in truth the doctor never regenerated into 14 but back to 10. And yeah that how I would write it, also thank you if you read it. Since yeah I know it long
The casting couch is alive & well. Gutwa is not just a diversity hire; he’s a fetish. And guarantee Davies is keeping Tennant around to try & keep the audience around but he is ideologically bound to make Tennant’s doctor inept, remorseful for being white & representative of the patriarchy or a villain for the same reasons. Davies will do really well with current Disney.
Only a woke storyline would have a woman in a wheelchair being in charge of able walking people with missiles in her chair and yet still being able to stand up out of her chair
Bernard Cribbins passed away before they could film the third special, they would have just ruined Wilfs character anyway, Jason\ Rose would’ve lectured him over some shit.
This show was going to be cancelled so at the end of Whittaker's run it was going to fade out with her regenerating, RTD before it was planning to come back to clickbait fandom with Tennant and Tate hope that he was going to save the show, it's the opposite more destruction of the show formerly known as Doctor Who. I couldn’t imagine watching television 📺 in 2023

It’s strange isn’t it. It’s like nothing is good anymore. Like all the ‘good’ has been sucked out of everything. Just everything is sh1t. Think of all the brilliant tv we used to have in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Think of the brilliant movies. Now today, nothing is good. There is just no quality. It’s all awful.
Agreed. There’s so much more entertainment in watching people on TH-cam shitting on all this.

Tom Baker is back to being the best Doctor.
Amen Brother! DVD sales don't lie>
Now they’re claiming this will be “season 1” of Doctor Who, so he’ll always be black or gay or trans or a sheep….. and nobody will ever be able to say “this is not Doctor Who”
The shocking thing to me is the amount of people in this country who still pay the BBC licence fee. Hat tip to those among us who don't.
If you have SKY then you need to get the TV Licence Fee. As any live TV watched needs a license. They look at Sky subscribers and make sure they pay for the TV Licence.

Correct. 💯👍🏻 Thats the reason i wouldn't have Sky.
RTD works for BBC
RTD WANTS a BBC!
It would appear that Ncuti is not blessed in that department.
Bernard Cribbins was an absolute legend. And I am thankful we got such an awesome performance with him and the Doctor. What I’ve have given to see him as the Doctors companion for an entire season. So tired of the sex appeal hire always being the companion.
He’s an excellent actor and so versatile.
I agree, although Catherine Tate was not a sex appeal companion either, she was the doctor's equal in many ways. Which is probably partly why Donna was so popular.
@@dogblessamerica He has an equal?
@@jonsolo7343I would argue the Master is like an equal to the Doctor
This show looks seriously disturbing.
Lol
It used to be very good. Used to.
Shooty will probably break out the arseless chaps in the next episode.
Nicely covered Sir, the BBC have found their groove with this woke garbage. They probably cry them selves to sleep knowing Uncle Jimmy is not atround to enjoy it too. God bless.
Oh my god, ‘Uncle Jimmy.’ This made me laugh harder than I should have! 😅
Most ppl consider Dr Who ended with Capaldi, everything after that is fan-fic garage.
I’ve rewatched this video at least 10 times.
Pure gold-pressed latinum.
Love your accent and dry humour. It makes the videos funnier! 😂 👍
so just looking at the scenes you showed, even without the terrible context of the plot.... this was one of the most homosexual pieces of media ever put on normal tv
i dont understand how these shit companies can act like this stuff is the new normal, its obviously over the top over sexualization, just not in the way it used to be
having over sexed women and chad guys was frowned upon everwhere but certain rated r films, but this stuff is okay?
They’re not accountable to the license fee payers.
To be fair, the reason Wilf wasn't in this episode was that he died before they could film a final scene

Your analysis about Russel lusting after dark doctor is pithy and likely correct

Reaper, those final words of yours are utter gospel. Fuck the BBC: they protect literal monsters and then tell us we need to do better.
What’s left of Russell Davies can have fun making this fanfic. It’ll ultimately get cancelled. Hopefully there’ll still be some fans in a decade or so who’ll still remember the show fondly enough to recommend it to their children.
Thank god I thought I was the only person who thought Davis wanted to bag the new doctor

I'll be honest, as much as I enjoyed parts of the episode, I kept seeing comment after comment of how much charisma Gatwa had and how much he had stolen the show. But there's only so much devil's advocating you can do before at some point you just need to say "lmao what"
The campiness and flirty attitude felt excessive as hell.
The Doctor is out....of his mind.

And Chibnall clearly had a crush on Whittaker, despite both of them being married. How else could an adequate supporting actress be elevated to play a British icon, when they admitted they knew nothing about the role?
what a disgusting thing to say. Jodie auditioned and got the role, like any actor. And Jodie is a fantastic actor.
"...a fantastic actor" 😆😆😆
@@tonyclements1147 she is.
Chibnall is homosexual.
Gen X gay men hate this episode and show too now. We're tired of the same old tropes throne at us by hollywood and the bbc.
I never even thought about the romantic drama happening behind the scenes that probably caused the casting of the newest doctor. it makes sense, even though I wish i could forget it now... it's just so creepy...
The fact that he was the only one who auditioned and only did it once....
To be fair the actor for Wilfred was really ill and died before he could film any following scenes.
The content in this vídeo is so good that it seemed like it lasted way more

The hardest part to get one’s head round is how all this is ruined intentionally, with full knowledge of what fan reaction will be and counting on that for the loosh harvest; the inclination is to rage but pointing and laughing is honestly the only way forward, until this madness ends.
No longer enough. We need to obsolete these b-asta-rds, and provide good, sane alternatives to the shite that they are peddling.
We are now seeing who they always were when left to their own devices.
idk about consistently good season 17 was kind of bad
3:50 because the man was actually dying.
Like he passed away a few months later. thats how poor his health was.
we're lucky we even got that one scene.
Rest his soul, Wilfred will always be remembered.
As a gay man i thought the same.
Isn't Davis hiring his gay boyfriend nepotism?
It's standard practice in any industry dominated by leftoid woketards.
Didn't think Russell would be in the christmas special...the goblin king
I watched the first episode of the specials and i tuned out after the doctor was lectured and the correct pronoun for an alien. And I'm in no rush to tune back in. So thank you for watching them so i never have to...
Hold on don't lose faith in Davies, there's a reason why this is shit and it's not Davies.
@user-zt2bh2tu6y even though he has blatantly stated that he did it because he wanted to? In your scenario he's a liar, in ours he's incompetent. Don't get me wrong, the BBC loves this shit, but Davies is responsible for this.
@@bertimusprime7900 The BBC is in a bind
I believe in you, bro!
same happened to me, i want to write my own series that has actually good writing
I won ...but I am still in the dark, it so dark WHY IS IT SO DARK"
And in the third, the toymaker actually appear in the tardis, we get an flash back to the inventor of tv, and I would have David kill off since it was toymaker actually interfere with the regeneration to bring David face back as he would say "I like that face an lot better" so in truth the doctor never regenerated into 14 but back to 10.
And yeah that how I would write it, also thank you if you read it. Since yeah I know it long
Good luck bro.❤❤

I am not watching Doctor Who from now on it is officially dead. I should have given up at Capaldi's last episode in 2017
The casting couch is alive & well.
Davies got Jungle Fever bad.
Davies use to be so creative, what changed?
This show has gone so far off the rails it's ridiculous. RTD is writing nothing but woke gay fanfiction at this point. R.I.P Doctor Who.
Only a woke storyline would have a woman in a wheelchair being in charge of able walking people with missiles in her chair and yet still being able to stand up out of her chair
This was the best episode tbh. The rest was bad
