I love how most of the wonder effects are so fun, but even the not-so-fun ones are still really cool looking or unique still. There’s not a single ‘bad’ one out of the bunch. Probably my favourite thing about this game, or at least one of them

3 of special world and also some wonder effects ARE the same, like pipes moving in 1-1 but also in the world 1 level where you first meet the enemie who push stuff or the getting taller effect which is in both twilight forest and the second castle of the game, also the bulls stampede
Or the two times you turn into a goomba cuz special world, three times hoppycat
He also talks about the piranha plants in the special world…

I want to see more secrets in the next game! I love Wonder, but it only took me like a day to get to the final level! I was really hoping for more twists and turns (yah know… wonder!) 😝
i hope they make the next 2d mario game not just super mario bros wonder 2, as that'd make this one, and by extension wonder 2, stand out less
I'd note the triple laikitu wonder effect in the regular world isn't just the triple laikitu, but also making the platform pieces significantly larger. (though that really mostly serves to make the platform more interesting than a straight line)
Something cool to note about the perspective shifts: in the magma world, the vanishing blocks only appear in the direction your character faces. This extends to your character's line of sight in the 3d section, which makes it way more engaging and tricky to figure out when you dont want to get hit by the lava dragons
If you really like the perspective shift effect, I would recommend the game Toodee and Topdee. Great game, it's basically the same concept but x10

Something that i love about Wonder mix is that each time a new Wonder effect get triggered, you can hear Bowser jr deformed roars in the background, is like he is not fighting with you, HE IS TRYING TO GET RID OF YOU!.
This game just has soooooo much soul put into it.❤
i found myself absolutely loving that final wonder mix myself, i finished it with a huge smile on my face
I personally would put slowmo above speed up, because it allows us to see the animations a lot more clearly. And it really shows how much was put into the animation of this game.
The wonder flower gameplay and the graphics is what made Mario wonder so special

At 19:48 - The Wubba Transformation. That one really messed with my brain because every time I went upside down, I expected to fall and it was even more nerve racking when I was upside down over lava or poison. Sometimes I even jumped accidentally... But it was still really cool how you can go on the walls and ceilings.
Imagine, if Wubba Mario could sometimes lose grip and fall off wall, Like Grant Danasty in Castlevania 3.

The metal mario effect is easily my favorite of the whole game. Sure it's nothing too special gameplay-wise, but the theming and atmosphere is absolutely top-notch, and it feels perfect as a late-game wonder effect. I lost my mind when I first saw it, definitely the highlight of the game for me

I love your intro and it is stuck in head and I am NOT sick of it
I really want them to do dlc for this game, because there’s so much more they can do with wonder flowers. When I 100% the game, I was left wanting more, which I feel is hard for a lot of games to accomplish (and the dlc maybe being a bit more difficult than base game like Luigi U would be cool)

Dude, I ain't arguing with you regarding the high placement of the Rolla Koopa course effect. That blew my mind, and was the first moment that made me truly fall in love with the game

Having a Halloween wonder event in Mario Wonder and the release of Alan Wake 2 during late October is so festive
I just got the game as a present from my mom on my birthday today! All 60 of the wonder effects are so cool and unique compared to the other ones!

I liked slow mo too, but not a lot do cause people generally don't like going slow and want everything to be very fast.
Slow mo would be amazing, in the right level where there's a million things to dodge.

The Nosher Swarm also kind of reminds me of Fuzzy Time Mine from 3d World
Even though the quiz was super unique and I was surprised to see it, because it's so short and not that visually interesting, I'm not sure that I would put it that high. I would definitely have the Boo opera above it. Still a pretty good list though.
The powers thrive on this world,maybe the powers up explain it why their eyes on plants and clouds maybe the powers up just transformation store into objects like plants or artificial and a cake/candy or simmer hights cloud powers explains the areas orgin?

Oh an little tip: the frist boss fights use you mini mushroom skills ground pound you do the same damage
The giant spike statue can easily be cheesed by burrowing into one of the platforms with the drill power up
you should talk about the badge marathon level (it took me like 2 hours to beat)

The falling pipes should’ve been at the bottom I think they had falling pipes in another level without a wonder flower I often forget it’s actually a wonder effect

The wonder events were S+ tier in this game. They could’ve make like 10 wonder events, spread them throughout the levels, and call it a day, but no, they made 60 OF THESE THINGS.

As fun as this game was, I wish there could be a 2D Mario game that didn’t use all kinds of abstract nonsense and actually tried to make a realistic world with plausible reasons for level elements to be there, like Tropical Freeze did.
Think Odyssey world design, but in 2D.

I liked the water bubbles because it was in a lava level.
Same! Floating water bubbles normally aren't that interesting, but when it's in a lava stage where the whole gimmick is extinguishing hot enemies with water, having the whole stage get hydrated by the Wonder Effect is so satisfying.
