It's really useful that you are able to put your hand (and mind) into fixing your own machinery. What a saving in both cost and down time you must have because you are able to do this. Service calls are expensive, and watching your videos, shows how unnecessary these can often be. There will always be an issue that can't be fixed and a service call will have to be made, but you've shown that many things can be fixed yourself. One wee thing I find confusing is when you guys across the Atlantic talk about paper in pounds, e.g 60lb paper, when over here it's all in gsm. Really enjoying the videos, keep them coming!
We have the same roseback at the shop at USC. Will be replacing those wheels just asap when I get back to work after our shutdown because of the virus. Thanks for the tips!
Circa 1990 when I got into the Biz I ran a Rosback 240 and Carbonless on top of that..... I knew nothing about nothing except that machine could rip through work day in and day out.... Rosback equipment are built like Tanks.... You have a nice machine for what your needs are...
Agreed. I like heavy simple machines. Automation is nice, but it doesn't stand the test of time. I'm super pumped that I finally have one of these on my floor.
Great machine! The advantage of this machine over a letterpress is obviously the speed, but I also like the fact that you can flatten the perf with the small wheels. The wheels also help keep the sheets from skewing as they pass through. Also running the tires wide helps with skewing. I tape a piece of letterpress furniture on the table so I can get my finger under the sheets quickly after they are perforated. I still have to use a letterpress when I’m perforating ncr that’s been glued. Good luck!
Yes, that was a pleasant surprise when reading some Rosback literature, that you run those wheels over the perf to create a flat sheet. Looking forward to that. Thanks for the tip to put a piece of furniture for easy unloading!
Hello Dan, I'm really enjoying your videos, keep up the good work, friend I have konica minolta c6500 but the fiery shows FF looks like I have a hard disk problem, do you have any suggestions or anything can help?
Glad you like the videos! I have a Creo on my c6500 so I have not had this issue. It is likely something simple. Maybe re-seat cable connectors. Check settings. Reboot printer and Rip? If none of that fixes maybe re-install the RIP software?
I thought that after I ran it. Even without a pile feeder I think the Rosback might be more efficient. And I also expect a flatter sheet with the slot perf.
The end was my favorite
That was my favorite too!!

Love this Video!
Thank you, it was fun!
a wonderful printer
Thanks!
That looks like a cool machine for the money. I paid €5,000 for something that it very similar over here in Ireland.
I think it will serve me well.

@@justaprinter thank you, I did all of that but nothing works, I did some search on Google most said reinstall the fiery but I didn't know how
Man it's super fast at the end!
Almost too fast!
after that ending, do you REALLY think you’ll use the mbo for perfing in the future? I loved the “holy cats” line.

I love it!
Me too! :)
Does that machine crease 11x17 text and 80lb cover paper?
Yes it can.
So as a had lesson . There are no easy ones . I learnd how an IBIS can cut paper in half nicely.
Haha!
A machine at $490 + $200 for parts that's really a good deal !!
Yeah, I got lucky on this one.
From Where did u get this machine ?? Online ??
Yes, I buy most of my equipment from wirebids.com
I wish I could share with you what I do. but I so relate,
It would be fun to see what your work looks like!
Fasterrrrrrrrrr!!!!
And I didn't even have it at full speed!
that was fast at the end lol
You know it! Its scary how fast that thing goes!
