Take it you dont wanna be plastering past 40 with hits like that lol .. my grandad was a builder he worked his arse off his whole working life then was in to much pain all the time to enjoy his retirement.. im a plasterer i use to bang on big areas like this when i was younger until i realised they dont give out medals for it lol . Youll start feeling the aches and pains the older you get think about the bigger picture and longevity mate . Very impressive tho takes a good engine to do that in one hit .. even with speedskims etc . Proper work out lol .The Plastering looks spot on tho 👌
Agreed 👍 no medals , no loyalty, no pension or sick pay …. The building game is tough , make your money work as hard as you do because graft catches you in the end
Great work for multi , .. i have spray plastered huge huge detailed areas with just a labourer.. i have a video on here somewhere. Different system i know 👍
On the one hand I want to say well done and the fact that youve got a good finish is impressive, but on the other hand, posting a dick swinging video like this does nothing for the trade but build up this bravado that were supposed to smash 1000 bags on a day. Honestly hate to think of the pain you're gonna be in if you do that on the regular. You only get one body and you'd regret shit like this if you couldn't work anymore. Just because you dont feel pain now doesnt me you never will. Theres people out there not even laying on a quarter of what you are and they make probably triple what you're on. That impresses me more if im honest. Not too sure about laying on with a flexi either haha but I guess if its views you want with this video then you're gonna get get it. But well done on getting it on, I guess this is needed when stuff gets pushed on. All the best.
I am very impressed with the large areas but also very impressed with the returns being included. These always slowed me up, if I wanted a good job. Well done.
I didnt see a 2nd coat going on Closed the 1st with hawk in hand. Still even one coating its big area. Look after yourself. I cant be bothered with that crap
Not a world record did you say that was two mixes if so that’s 6.5 bags per mix, go check out 3 brothers plastering 28 bag gauge between 3 spreads that’s 9.3 bags per man in one mix. Good going mind but I think they do more bags my friend.
@@RapidSkimPlasteringMethod yeah it’s good going but 3 brothers do more than that they did 9.3 bags each just in the one mix, those guys are the fastest spreads I’ve ever seen on TH-cam and the don’t just skim flat walls they have angles and splayed ceilings on everywhere they’re insane.
@@Happytruth Mate I've been a plasterer for 22 years and I can tell you right now you cannot get 9 bags in one of those tubs not unless it's like water. Sponge floating is for amateurs He's trying to scrub back the top coate...9 bags finish will still set in 20-30mins regardless of the amount unless it's water without trisodium or cream of tartar being added. Plus laying on with a flexible trowel is a huge No-No Working like that, you won't be plastering past 35.. lower back and joints will be knackered... Or heart attack, possible stroke. Working like that only drives prices down as most firms pay on price or per m2 you fancy laying pink for shortstop prices day in day out.. he is selling you something 💯 all that glitters is never gold Until this so-called plasterer can lay on rough coate. scratch/top external he's not a plasterer...he's a finisher Until another qualified time served plaster validateds his work. @@stevengordon2145 I completely agree I’ve been plastering since mid 80s and have seen some big areas covered completely agree on body wear and tear my thumb joints aren’t in a good way. On TH-cam 3 brothers plastering to me look like they can spread the amount they claim and the finish looks good but they must be one coating, not saying you can’t one coat to a good finish I’ve done it myself on site but that’s IMO the only way you’d plaster like their videos show. And as for rates I agree it’s idiots who fuck it up for others because the guy who spreads 100m per day becomes the bench mark and rates per M2 always seem to go lower.
they do two coat mate, they show it in some of their longer videos. They whack out enormous areas in their hits. I don’t understand the shit this fella is getting though, that’s a huge amount to do in a hit on your own, and to finish that room in a day is ridiculous. The average plasterer does definitely not do that day in day out. I do domestic but generally you’re lucky to knock out 5 bags a day working around people and their belongings. But even on site, I sure as hell wouldn’t be doing 15 bags a day, good money or not, that is not sustainable in the long run and shouldn’t be made to look like the norm
Listen I would love to be able to do that but with my mental health issues I don’t no if I could focus like that I think it is brilliant well done bro back ache or no f me that was fast lol 👊

A guy told me this 2o years ago hes still going in is 60s . He said dont chase money
My neck is ruined because of plastering wish I had chose a different career 🤷🏽♂️😖
How much did you charge for the room ? Thanks

@@dannymactheatreoflife.1771I did it 10 years then got my hgv licence best decision I’ve ever made
How many bags was that? Says world record but no bags total ? Cracking mix though mate 👍
The big respect from me is how clean you are working.
Laying on with a flexi and finishing with a spat!😂😂😂 fucking hell cowboy
I've done more than that.
Mate that is ludicrous…..
You must be rolling in it 😂😂😂
Finishing with a spat is bang outta order man. Gonna look like absolute shit when painted
An absolute scammer trying to sell methids to other plasterers
When you chase money.. it runs. When you make money it’s different.
Magnetic plaster over steel walls. He didn’t drop a dime.
Impressive- but not a record.
Amazing mate really clean too. I’m quick but I won’t bother challenging you.
Smashed it. Just watch your joints in the long run mate
You better explain joints better 😂

Brilliant work mate, really impressed; however when you're knocking that much out a set the big boys just cut the rates!!!!
as a semi retired stucco plaserer , when it said feel the arm burn, i can relate
Nice job mate looks mint
Baby set

Great job looks good it is only one Gage though not that hard big room with flat walls. Do tree of them a day and you’re making good money.💪🏻👍🏻

Well done mate, haters will hate.
Thanks Clarkey, appreciate you👊💪
Having a different opinion isn’t “hating”. That’s that melts say who can’t handle an opinion other than theirs
Yh I can one coat that much aswell. Next!
6 bag on a 3 metre high ceiling is enough for me
Good effort mate, but just no 😂😂😂
What's with the fire proof board every where.
What edition is that listed as a world record
Impresive.

Re watch mate it says 2 coat in writing
Paid by the job not by the hour 😂😂😂
It's one thing laying it on its finishing it properly where the real work is
Which he never did… finished with one swipe on the spatula after sponging. Will look like dogshit when it’s painted
What a load of nonsense.
Good lad but no record i can do that in a day as could most good plasterers
Agreed - really good but not a record
And what’s those orange things on your feet 😂
Ahaha there called worktall boots, just give you an extra foot if needed. There light and quite comfortable to wear
FairPlay, how many m2
Thanks Alan, I did that room in a day, 2 mixes. Between 130 - 150sq

I work on my own mate, no labour nothing. I did that room in a day on my own in 2 mixes. I used just under 9 bags for the mix in the video here:)

Grab a refina trolley for the mix, or make your own. Obviously less walking for the big mixes.
Just got myself a new one, my last one got taken on a job i was on

So because of ‘mental health issues’ you can’t focus and work hard? Jesus Christ
It will look rough
Just out of interest do you mix that stuff in the second coat as well or first only looks good top job
