I'm surprised Billy had enough room for his dinner after chewing the scenery so much I kid haha, he seems fun. Actually surprised to see ""traditional"" cooking from Saul, this feels different from his usual dishes, but all three looked wonderful

Yooo I saw this comment before the video started and I was like wtf does that even mean, then he comes on the screen and says hi I'm billy and I busted out laughing 😂
Level 1: What I would have made when I was 20. Level 2: What I'd like to be able to make when I'm 40. Level 3: What I still won't be able to afford when I'm 60.
Please get Saul to give Billy a knive handling and cutting workshop. Fingertips waiting to end up in his gnocchi dish. Awesome episode, all 3 have a great character!
Them stabbing the potatoes their holding was also a big no no. I was a bit surprised to see a chef doing that, he of all people should know how badly you can hurt yourself with a knife.
7:56 - that spice blend is amazing, especially on fried eggs and veggies. It's mostly the Caribbean Annatto spite (not Turmeric as the color would suggest), and it's such a great flavour.
GRANDMA BETH! :D It's gonna be good when she's there, especially when she's doing homecooked Italian dishes. My dad would not approve of Saul's gnocchi, but he hates sweet potatoes. I'd personally give it a try. Billy's recipe looks colorful and fun, I'm a fan of one-pan dishes I can just toss in the oven and serve up.
Everyone was on point for this one. Every dish looked delicious and all the chefs had great commentary. Beth's was definitely closest to what my Italian grandma used to make but gnocchi are so versatile you can really do whatever you want with them.
Billy's recipe is simply great for beginning cooks. Beth's recipe looks completely do-able. I would try this even without a bet! And I love the idea of adding a sweet potato to the russets. That could be sued in almost any potato recipe.
My favourite gnocci is with a plain simple gorgonzola sauce! Boil the gnocci in salted water for a minute or two to get it pillowy soft and bouncy, add a little bit of milk to nicely cover the pan a pack of gorgonzola (200/250g) and pepper to taste. Turn on the heat, wait for the cheese to melt and combine with the milk. The milk helps to keep the cheese from separating, burnishing and helps keep it a creamy sauce. Once the sauce is ready, pop the gnocchi in, combine and serve. If you’re particularly lazy, you can add the raw gnocchi in to the milk with the cheese, season as normal, stir around a little bit before putting the lid on. Just make sure to stir every one to two minutes because all of these ingredients are notorious for burning really quickly.
Potato Gnocchi is new to me. My Italian grandmother taught me how to make them and she spent a lot of time teaching me how to use two fingers to pull them back to make the shape. Maybe because she was from northern Italy but she never used potatoes. Flour and eggs.
I love talking to myself when I watch this show cause I’ll really be in my house alone like “okay, Beth, pistachios instead of pine nuts! You crazy girl! I love it!” 💀
I thinks this is the weirdest level 1 recipe I've ever seen, and we all remember the cheesecake on a pancake 😂... yeah, this is on top of that. Cooling gnocchi in the oven????
I came for Beth and Saul, now I have a new friend Billy!
I agree! He was awesome!
Right?
I was doubtful, but he then said the majority of his culinary education comes from Remy, and now he's my friend too!
I'm surprised Billy had enough room for his dinner after chewing the scenery so much
I kid haha, he seems fun. Actually surprised to see ""traditional"" cooking from Saul, this feels different from his usual dishes, but all three looked wonderful
Because of his hair, I call him Rock-a-Billy
Aunty Beth NEVER MISSES. You just know the whole house is napping after she serves up
Billy having the "high school acquaintance bump in" conversation had me cackling. Bring him back
"im like a shallot, sweeter. Except on the weekend, then im like a jalapeno" hahah 😅😅😅
Top tip: if you use packaged gnocchi, you can pan fry it without boiling it first. It's delicious fried with olive oil, butter, rosemary and salt.
Yes, that's what I do at home! They're so delicious and pillowy inside but also crunchy in texture outside.
This is like the best thing to do with pre-packaged gnocchi
Here for Saúl.
Me too!
Me too!
Me too! Saúl or Frank.😅 If one isn’t here then I’m gone 😂
You mean SAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUL!!!!!!!
Gracias 🙏🏻 everyone 🎉
Billy is like if a baseball game was a person

Perfect
Saul always uses a vegetable I've never heard of. I need to get out more, lol.
We used to go out and collect wild ramps :)
@@asztorikusos2697that's still how you get them, I've never seen ramps in the store.
Billys joke delivery is on point
"I want every gnocchi to have the same amount of love AKA butter" - Saul knows what he's talking about 😄

No joke! I love Billy’s humor but his chopping skills make me cringe every time

I respect Billy so much man he’s such a delight
i disagree
@@travisanderson7707 Why do you say that?
To be honest, this is probably the first 4 levels video where I want to try everyone's dish!
Omg, Saul's looks BEAUTIFIL! I need that gnocchi 🤤
This one is really fun to watch all three of them are so interesting and funny
I really appreciated the Ratatouille reference for the culinary education. 😅

I actually wanna try out Billy's recipe :o maybe just in a pan and a lil tweaked but it actually looked so tasty and easy for a weekday meal
Everything Beth makes looks absolutely delicious and comforting. Still waiting on a Saúl and Frank ingredient swap!!
Now I know why I’m being called a professional. LOVE.
I’ve been waiting for this episode since forever! ❤
I absolutely love this series!!
Good stuff. The hardest part would be finding Ramps within a 50 mile radius.

Zzzzzzzzz😴🥱🛌
My favourite series, inspires me to cook all the time ❤
I love it when they have Saúl cook non-Mexican stuff, I swore this would be Frank before I clicked.
It’s like Epicurious is looking at my google searches!! I just searched yesterday what to pair with gnocci lmao
They are reading my mind. I was just thinking yesterday, "I should make Gnocchi"
I made a butter sage sauce to go over gnocci's and it was amazing.
actually Billy's recipee seems the most interesting of the bunch
also he's so precious
I absolutely CHERISH Chef Saúl, he makes everything seem fun even when he's complicating things for himself
12:40 im no longer a couch potato, but a nice, fluffy gnocchi 😅😅😂😂
Beth is on-point using pistachios for pesto.

i love this series. Billy is a fun level 1
For a future episode I want to see, “4 Levels of Ribs”.
Or even better spiced pumpkin pie
Roll your lemons if they are fighting you. Chef Saul’s gnocchi looks beautiful. I love the others too
Ive found a new reason to watch these! Billy you are a legend!!!
BILLY FOR THE WIN!!!🎉
Rosmarinic acid 😂 she’s hilarious, the delightful Food Scientist ❤
Saul plates so beautifully
...Did Frank hunt down rumps for the entire Epicurious staff?
Didn’t know there was Saul and now I’m so much happier❤
I love these level videos
Beth is Back Baby 😊
I'm going to try all 3!! They all look great!🎉
I love this concept! All three are incredible in their own way.
Billy's recipe is simply great for beginning cooks. Beth's recipe looks completely do-able. I would try this even without a bet! And I love the idea of adding a sweet potato to the russets. That could be sued in almost any potato recipe.
Bless your heart, Beth! ❤
I love this show 😭
Eyyy Saul is back!
My favorite show. Shows people theres a difference in food for sure
The level 2 chef is my favorite by far!!! ❤ this video makes me sooooo hungry 🤤
Imma need more of Billy & Saul. Keep em coming 🎉
yay, for more videos of Saul and Beth!
Im going to see the cartoon with the rat to learn how to cook. lol😂😂 love Billy he knows how not to waste time
My fave series here

If I had to pick 1, it would be Beth (obviously). I love fresh pesto. That being said, they all sounded pretty good to me.
I love this series so much
Can't explain how much I needed this video
I missed Beth so much ❤❤❤❤
I don't like gnocchi but these videos are so satisfying to watch
They all looks fantastic!
I love Beth! One of my favorites! I also love Saul
Beth is the best!

I’ll vote for the intermediate chef , I like her style.
I still stick to my version of gnocchi.
I came for Saul, and I stayed for Billy. This guy is fantastic to watch! So relatable, and so engaging and fun to watch.
OMG I WAS JUST TUNED IN CUZ I LIKE WATCHING THESE WHILE I EAT OMG HIII
same lol. didnt even realise the video is so new
Love seeing Rose 🥰
Good to see Beth back
I liked all the serving ideas for gnocchi, I wish I could taste them😄
Billy and those baby blues! Omg❤

Saul has been the best thing added since this show started.
I prefer level 2
Love how Beth leveled up the pesto ❤
"That Disney movie about that rat chef" lol
*Pixar but anyway :D
Billy's EVOO is underappreciated!
Beth had to be on this episode! If not I was gonna still watch the video but with a little animosity 😅
Billy is a great addition too
I don’t know why, but I loved Billy 😂
OUR BOY, SAÚL!!!
10:25 looks like the gnocchi rapture lmao
Auntie Beth needs her own show
This is my ultimate "4 Levels of" lineup!
I love the flowers
Three great people
Saul is definitely my favorite level 3
Beth is the grandmother we all wish we had
And Billy is an excellent level 1
Momma Beth ❤
Chef Saul 🫶
New friend Billy 😀
Love Eatin’ Henry Hill ❤️
I've never seen level 1 basically hit it out of the park (so to speak) of what I'd actually want to eat.
Calling Beth a level 2 is an insult. Her process was very similar to Saúl's!
When Saul quietly said "I like to complicate my life" I felt that
I am a fool for arugula pesto. YUM!!
Grandma made my day
I’ll have Beth’s gnocchi please.
Looks like the perfect comfort food😋
