I miss Miami croquetas! My mom makes them every once in a while for special occasions, but complains that it’s hard to find the “right” galleta molida or bread crumbs for the recipe. We live in North Georgia now and I feel that the regular commercial bread crumbs just taste a bit off. I will try your recipe soon. They look so good! Thanks for sharing your passion.
I hope you try it and like it! I find some brands do taste a bit off. You can always make your own galleta molida by pulsing crackers in a food processor until very fine. 🥰
@@AnitasDelights thanks for the suggestion. I did make them and your version with the panko bread crumbs really worked well. They were great! Thanks so much. I hope you keep sharing recipes with us. Btw...In the past week I have made your churros like 5 times. They are so easy and delicious!

What kind of ham do I buy? Is it the small ham that comes uncut, the tin ham (like spam) or does it matter? And what flavor? Smoked, Cooked, etc... Sorry for all the questions I'm gonna make these & want to make them authentic as possible. 😊 Thank you
I've tried this recipe twice and I have trouble forming the croquetas. They are very sticky and tend to fall apart in the egg wash. Do you have any suggestions?
Sorry to hear that! Well, you have two options, try cooking the dough a bit longer next time, and also make sure you allow it to cool completely before you start forming them. You can even try freezing the dough for a bit as well, but make sure it's not completely frozen and is still pliable. I hope this helps ☺
She’s right about the difference. As i Mexican i prefer the Cuban style more because it takes me back to my childhood in south Florida
I miss these so much since moving out of SoFla. I must try this recipe!! ❤
Please do!

Good job, girl❤❤❤
What can you use to replace the milk?

Do u like to use smoked ham or regular?
To me, it doesn't really matter. It depends on what I have on hand, but the smoke ham does change the flavor slightly. Delicious nonetheless!!!
I watched this on my desktop, the audio was fine. Watched it again on my mobile and it’s mostly static noise.
Dizzle or drissle? Jaja😅😘. Looks good!
Probably drizzle? 😌
@@AnitasDelights se ven deliciosas amor. I'm gonna try them one of these weekends. 😋
It's all in the way you make the Bechamel? If you make it Classic French style, it'll be creamy, if not then it's Cuban style.
Yes exactly!

Measurements would actually be lovely bc I’ve tried this many times and it never works
Hi! Use the link in bio for the full recipe.
The croquetas of jamón are spanish tradition. Not cuban
Correct! But it’s also a very famous Cuban street food brought to us by Spaniards.
